I am a brony and proud of it, does that mean i force the bloody show on people, no. If you don't like it that is you and i respect that also cartridge (idk if i spelled that right lol) i honestly love watching non bronies watch mlp stuff because i love seeing there reactions to different parts of it. MLP may be a kids show but it gets into some legit topics. Plus the army of bug like ponies that can turn into whoever they want, Kinda creepy.

So much salt! I've never watched MLP, but even I kept my mind open... obviously they are both ricidulous comic characters... Who are you to judge which is 'better'? How is a talking pony with the power of friendship any less believable than an immortal super-mercenary? Both concepts are laughably impossible.
Yeah it's like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Powerpuff Girls they're such a ridiculous concepts that it's can be easy to get into it. I was a HUGE fan of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Powerpuff Girls they're my childhood enjoyments. All I had to do with My Little Pony Friendship is Magic was to forget about the past experiences with the franchise and remember that this has half of the writers who did The Powerpuff Girls and it has male fans that they truly enjoy it without being annoyed. The show has Emmys and Leo Awards I don't think they give them out for a bad product.
I found it funny that they kept complaining that Deadpool's teleporter wasn't mentioned. Specifically because Pinkie can teleport at will WITHOUT the use of a teleporter, so nothing would've changed.
The big thing about toxic fandoms is that it is a phase. People call the Undertale Fandom Toxic, People call the Pony Fandom Toxic. Well most toxic people have left. Still a few lingering around but most of what is left is of the oppinion that "Try it and see if you like it. If not fine, not everyone likes the same thing." The only time Those peaople (including myself) turn toxic is when someone comes along and starts attacking us over what we like. Then it is less defending the fandom and more defending our right to like what we like. In short, there are toxic people out there, both fanatics and anti fans, they are all assholes and need to be ignored.

The whole toxic fandom stuff is why I worry every time I mention I like Steven Universe to anyone. The loudest (yet smallest) part of the SU fandom is so vile and savage that merely mentioning the show to a non-fan can immediately get you blacklisted or even lead to threats of violence. It's worse if the SU fan is female. Like me. Hence my fear of bringing it up.
I'm a fan of Steven Universe, and I'm usually calm and collected about it, and I myself am usually quiet, due to being a person who doesn't want to start any fires. I have friends that are Steven Universe fans, and they are usually quiet about it in the same vein as I am.
@@dimentiosservant That's why I pointed out back then how small the actual toxic portion was and just how terrifying they were. They were so bad that the entire SU fandom was on everyones hate list for a while even though the majority were genuinely decent people. Admitting to being an SU fan back in the day was a dangerous thing to do. I'm glad that things did calm down over time.
In response to people in fandoms driving outsiders away because they don't "get it", I'll say this: those people aren't the majority. Please don't let these or anyone as bad as them sour your experience with something that you're interested in watching/playing/listening etc. They're not worth being taken seriously. It honestly sucks being driven away from something that could be a thing you like, or even love, because of certain people in said fandom. I, along with a lot of others in the brony fandom, usually help others understand why we enjoy the show when they ask. Same with any other thing I'm a fan of if they ask. In short, try out something from a big fandom/very popular, if you're curious, to see what the big fuss is and if you may like it too. If you don't, that's fine. I don't let the bad minority of a fandom keep me from discovering something I may really like/love (i.e. Sonic, Steven Universe, Undertale, etc)

MLP is a good series but you CANNOT force it on people, either they like it on their own or they don't. That's pretty much it when it comes to the show, idk if it's due to me being into various cartoons/shows throughout the years ranging from oldies like Popeye and Ducktales to animes like Cowboy Beebop and Drifters and even live-action stuff like Kamen Rider: Gaim and Garo but pretty much the best way to view something is on your own and by your own choice.

Yeah, but sometimes it helps to have a little guidance. The episode I usually leave as a recommendation for those willing to give it a try is season 2, episode 3 (Lesson Zero). Great introductory episode, only 22 minutes long. Even that early on in the series it lets a person judge whether or not they're interested in more.

Even though I'm not a fan of _My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic_ myself, I have read enough about it and it's fans to be relatively positive that the toxicity of that show's fandom is not at all about keeping the show "pure" from "outsiders". Actually, I suspect it's the opposite: if you really like a show / movie / game but there is an established fandom who wants to deny you your right to like said show / movie / game, or, worse, if there are people who know nothing of the piece of Entertainment in question who want to deny you that right, all in the name of, as you said, "keeping the fanbase pure", there are, roughly, two things you can do: 1) Let your enjoyment be soured by the toxic fans 2) Fight for your (unquestionable) right to enjoy whatever it is you enjoy. The so-called "bronies", fans of _My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic_ who happened to be adult males, went through option number two when confronted with idiots who wanted to claim they were "sullying", or something like that, a show that, according to aforementioned idiots, should be only enjoyed by little girls. And the vast majority of said idiots had never seen a single Episode of the show. So, the "bronies" opted to fight tooth and nail for their place in the fandom of the show. Good for them, of course. However, there is *one* downside to fighting that hard for your place in a group or some right that's being challenged or whatever: once you've won, or sort of won, many who have fought find it very difficult to *stop* fighting. And when there are still eyebrows being raised when they shouldn't be, it becomes even *more* difficult to distinguish between those that threaten the rights you've fought to gain and those that simply disagree with you on some things. That's what's happening with the adult portion of the _MLP:FiM_ fanbase right now, I think. They've fought *so very hard* to even be allowed to *form* this fanbase, that they have come to view anyone who doesn't like the show, or even doesn't like it as much as they do, as a new threat to the relative safety their position now holds. Okay, I have a few things to say about this. 1. I am a brony, to say the least. But the difference between the weird side of the fandom (Smile HD and Sexual stuff and so much ect.) and me is I respect people's opinions on this subject. Mlp is a good show but only to the people who enjoy it. The stereotypes for bronies are that they all get trigger happy if you say something bad about the show. Its not a perfect show and it never will be. It has been getting better over the years but that's not the point here. The point is that stereotypes are bad and most bronies would RESPECT your opinion and I do. If you guys don't enjoy it, it is your opinion and yours alone and most would respect your opinion if they would just listen to what you have to say. 2. Smile HD is on the bad side of the fandom, you were just introduced to it by the horrid fans who suggested it. Which in turn made a bad first impression on the show as a whole. Lullaby for a Princess is a whole different story. That is the good side of the fandom. Even though you didn't understand the story behind it, which is totally understandable. (Btw , I can tell you about it if you would like.) People really shouldn't suggest mlp stuff to the people who don't enjoy the show, its not right. The only thing I could think of that you might like that is mlp created is if someone made animations of your reactions in pony form. You might like that better, who knows. Anyway, to answer your question, yes everyone I have seen, even, bronies think Smile HD was one of the most messed up things in the fandom. 3. Lastly, I thank you guys for at least attempting to watch it. I like how you at least give it a little respect. I know it must be hard. I agree with your opinions on it. I am a brony (quite obviously (cartridge)), and I don't ever force anything I like down other people's throats. I became a brony because friends kept recommending the show and showing me tidbits of music and the like that I enjoyed the sound of as well as snippets from the cartoon I thought were actually pretty funny. If none of you like the show, that's fine. I think that /maybe/ you can enjoy the characters, because /I/ started to enjoy the characters before I even watched the show. So, there's that. In regards to the character Pinkie, yeah she is really kind of annoying, but she has proven to be quite funny at some times. If you like nerd stuff, then maybe you should investigate the character Discord. Check him out, experience his brand of humor, I don't know. It's up to you. Anyways, I'll just leave this here and say that you did another awesome show and I loved your reactions more than the actual clip (which I have already seen) itself. I totally understand the toxicity thing. To use a tired example, when Undertale first appeared, I gave it a look. Looked interesting alright, but ultimately not enough to pull me in. Then the fandom exploded. I was mildly annoyed by all the 'You're going to have a bad time' quotes everywhere, but I decided to just let it be, even giving the trailer another chance though it still not enough to entice me. Then someone who was on my Steam friendlist popped up and started strongly recommending Undertale to me. I tried to tell them that I just wasn't interested, but they kept insisting I play it, assuming I was being put off by the simple graphics (even though I grew up with old school game cartridge graphics), before finally telling me 'F*** YOU', and unfriending me. Granted, that person was no loss from my 'friendlist', but that ultimately left such a bad taste in my mouth about the current state of the fandom, I actively started ignoring everything to do with the game. Nowadays I don't care as much, and heck, I may one day play Undertale, but I will do so under my own volition and no-one else's.
I understand i can be annoying but i would like to point out that there are many different reasons as to why people can come off as pushy and obnoxious. Personally i almost became an alcoholic and broke my hand because of recklessness as a result. All of this damage happened because of all the shit i`ve received in my nearly 4 years as a Brony.Thankfully im am well on my way out of that hellhole and my hadn is healed again. However, many people are in WAY worse situations because of that same bullshit.Therefore people get really eager when they come across people that might like whatever they like. They seek understanding instead of being told to go kill themselves. Undertale fans face that same treatment, often for no reason. So that person you mentioned might have had his fair share of problems.
That is a very good point. I have been lucky enough to not encounter that level of hate from others, (and I'm sorry you went through that) and it does pain me that I had ignored offering that olive branch to a differing fandom because of the more vocal and obnoxious part of it, something I'm very aware of within my own fandom. I never got to know that person much; even before the Undertale Incident they had always annoyed me to a small degree, though I never showed them any spite for it. I do hope they are doing well though, and have found a much better friend to connect with than me.

Oh, I can believe that. The people in my life I enjoy being with the most are most certainly _not_ bronies. That isn't to say that I don't have brony friends I enjoy talking to, but they are far and few in between. But regardless of that, thank you. I don't particularly care to watch the show just cause it doesn't interest me mainly, as someone who has grown up watching mainly discovery channel. mainly the survival shows, history channel and things like law and order it just never caught my interest.
4 years late I know, but I respect that. I sadly cannot watch a lot of reactions because anybody who isn't in the mlp fandom overlooks the battle and it feels that its more of a chore to watch it for them. All to the point where they just continue to hate on the fandom and the ponies themselves instead of actually reacting. They say that it was stupid to have an inclusion at all from us. Its sad. It happens to every fandom, I know but it really is genuinely saddening to be outcast by the minority which damages the majority and loses out on genuine talent.
These guys are the only ones I know who can make a 23 minute reaction and THEN make a 20 something minute discussion. I'm not going to watch that full discussion but I love these guys.

It's fine if you're a fan of something and want others to share in it or if you want to express your love for said something. But not at any point should you try and force what you like down someone's throat or treat them a certain way because they aren't "respecting" what you care for, in the way you did, if they do take an interest. Fandoms should be a place where people can discuss their love/dislike of something, ask for help, or general questions in a welcoming environment.
I've noticed that both pony Death Battles are very, VERY deliberate match-ups. Why does Pinkie fight Deadpool? Because it's the only match-up in which NEITHER of them win. If Pinkie or Wade fought anyone else, they would win. They're undying reality breakers, they're basically unbeatable. Meanwhile, with Starscream vs Rainbow Dash, they deliberately picked Starscream because it's practically the ONLY transformer that Dash could possibly win against. Dash is pretty OP, sure, but she has nothing on a robot with guns that can aim and use their brain properly. Starscream was chosen to show off how ridiculously powerful a pony can be despite being... well, a pony. Tbh, if they ever do other Death Battles with ponies (Twilight Sparkle, etc), I expect the ponies will always win or else come to a draw. After all, who wants to see a cute little pony get ripped limb from limb? Er... besides the sick fucks who make gore-filled My Little Pony horror fanfiction. They don't count. (Cartridge)
Happens to every fandom, always right at the beginning, never to leave. Every fandom judged by its minority to the point that the majority gets injured. Great talent that could have been experienced but dissapears before it can reach the sun. Negativity to destroy projects because the minority was judged. That no matter what you look at there is something good somewhere within but if you do not look it gets destroyed. Most reactions to mlp things get automatically hated because there is even a hint of ponies there and it sucks. Thank you for not being them. Also Cartridge, of course I listen to what you gotta say.
I can understand not wanting to watch or play something because everyone is hyping it up and saying that you have to watch it. Angel Beats and Clannad is the main thing for me. I still refuse to watch Clannad (Watch two eps I think of Angel Beats and don't want to see the rest) because of the fans and because they're not my type of anime. Never liked the slice of life types or whatever Angel Beats. Don't hate the people who do like them at all. Just the part of the fandom that thinks you have to watch one of these or both in order to be a true fan of anime.
So in unrelated news, I'm considering getting Pokémon Sun (or Moon) and Dragon Ball Fusions. I'd already have those two or three cartridges in my hand (because why not have both Sun and Moon), but I can't afford them...yet.
I didn't realize that I wrote a fucking speech until I was finished but so hear is a TL;DR A fandom is like a person and the longer it's around the more it matures, both inside and out of said fandom. You can read the long part (At least by my standards) below. The thing about fandom is that there isn't any fandom that doesn't have an infestation of annoying, stupid, and/or outright pretentious pricks. Every fandom has them, it's just that some of them do a better job of ignoring them than others. And from my perspective, a fandom is like a person, the longer it's around the more it matures, yes the fandom of My Little Pony has those obnoxious people, but does it have the same amount as it did in the earlier years? No, because those obnoxious people matured and /or left the fandom. I've been in the fandom of My Little Pony since Season 2, and I've seen it grow by a ton, and I don't just mean the size of the fandom I mean the maturity of the collective. And the same goes for people outside of the MLP fandom, the amount of people who absolutely despised and/or disliked the fandom and all that watched it was immense when it started to emerge, but here we are about 5 years later and there are still a lot of people who hate the show and fandom but nowhere near the amount it used to be because they either stopped caring about it or ended up liking the show themselves. The My Little Pony fandom as it stands now is a MUCH better fandom than it when started. And that's because people both in and out of the fandom matured. And at the point of writing this I realize I've been talking too much about MLP so I'm going to bring up some more examples from other fandoms. Starting with Undertale which has TONS of obnoxiousness in the fandom, possibly more than when the MLP fandom started, (Now just because I said that doesn't mean I hate Undertale) and the amount of people who hate Undertale and it's fandom are SO immense but, after a few more years, it will have so much less of those people.
FYI, the ending song with Boomstick and Wizz acting all confused with the results, it came from a S1 MLP episode, Swarm of the Century when Pinkie played some music as a one pony band hehe.
If the fandom has ruined something for you simply by being pushy and excited, the fault is in you. They are not going to stop being excited, and to them, they're not being pushy. How you handle it, how you react, and how you make decisions is your responsibility. And if you decide a knee-jerk "I don't wanna" response is a good enough one to get behind, it's not the fandom's fault. It's yours.
I understand that you don't like mlp and I respect that. I'm sad but I respect your opinion. I would still recommend some of the fan works, which are often amazing. Some would even say that if they could only keep either the show or the fandom/ fan works, they would choose the fan made content. I hope you guys check out some to see for yourself what you think.

As a Brony, I can agree with the Toxicity part. I got into the fandom thanks to the show's spin off "Equestria Girls". In the first movie (there are four), there is one character that is introduced named Flash Sentry, and when he was introduced, half the fandom was "like this guy, I ship him with Twilight" while the other half was like "SELF INSERT! GARY SUE! KILL HIM!". I just want to point out, the brony fandom is known for expanding on the character of ponies who are seen in the background, who have no character, like Derpy Hooves whose appearance today is the result of an animation error from when she was first introduced, and Lyra Heartstings whose obsession with humans (given by the fandom of course), is the result of the way she was sitting on a bench. But when it comes to Flash Sentry, the majority of the fandom treated him like the devil, all because he his character wasn't flushed out well. To further my point, when the third Equestria Girls movie, Friendship Games, came out, the fandom was hyped over the Shadowbolts, who were to be the "Anti-Mane Six". But they barely got any development, despite that, people obsessed over them. Seriously, these people can't make up their fucking mind!
The show kind of reminds me of Animaniacs and even Loony Tunes, while still being its own thing. I can understand not liking it, hopefully though you guys have at least watched the show before judging it harshly.

Aside from predicting the outcome, I feel the same way about this particular episode of Death Battle and all its WTFery glory. Even as a Deadpool fan, I cannot even talk about it on my own reaction video, like "What the hell?!" In case anyone wonders, someone requested me to react to it... of all things.
I have a friend who dislikes New Vegas and loves fallout 3 as well. One reason he says is the switch from 3Dog to Mr. New Vegas, which I understand but don't think it's enough to create his dislike the game. He finally told me his real reason was because, and I quote, "New Vegas is a glitchy mess." And I say, well yeah it's a Bethesda game. What do you expect? He played it on console as well so he couldn't download any patch mods. I understand his dislike, but I feel he just hasn't given the actual game a chance.
I know a fandom that's pretty toxic; the Smosh fandom. When Ian and Anthony brought in more people to do more skits, so it wasn't just Ian and Anthony going back and forth between costumes, people started calling them sellouts, told them to get rid of everyone else, and just go back to the two of them, Ian's mom, and Stevie (who I think became the director of Smosh's videos). And eventually, Anthony left Smosh due to UA-cam pretty much saying, "You can't make videos like these, you have to make them the way WE want you to make them." I was sad that Anthony left, but nowadays, people are still bitching about it, like, "Bring Anthony back! Get rid of all these other losers so Anthony can come back!" And even if Anthony did come back, they'd just call him a sellout because he and Ian made a video specifically saying the reason why Anthony left Smosh, yet the fandom doesn't give a shit and are basically saying, "We want you to sellout so we can genuinely enjoy Smosh again." 🤦♂️. And with Smosh's videos nowadays, admittedly, they are hit-or-miss, but when they're funny, they're actually funny. Yet these hipster assholes just treat it like, "They're not funny because Anthony left. We'll unsubscribe if you don't bring him and his emo hair back." 🤦♂️
I've been watching you guys for a while now, and I've always enjoyed the banter between you all. It's something a lot of reaction channels tend to lack, especially ones where there's only one reactor. If you don't mind, I'd like to make a recommendation for a series of videos you guys could watch. I would love to see you guys react to more LoadingReadyRun stuff, like their long running Commodore Hustle series. You could even react to it's spinoff, as well, called Friday Nights (if any of you know anything about Magic the Gathering). Secret Word: Cartridge Two examples on how toxic people are... i love Sword Art Online, and there was one time that when i said i love it, not because its a "Harem" but because it saw it, and rewatched it, and noticed things that are really well done and things that could have been done better, but there was someone that litteraly came on me like a rabid dog just because i said i liked it, demanding i explained why i liked it... like... it's my opinion, whatever you say wont change it, specialy since the person only saw the first half of the first season and not all seasons felt like he had the right to a opinion. Another example was that i played Final Fantasy X first, as it was my first game, i Love it to death, but until i got to other games, people would talk and talk... and talk.. on how Final Fantasy VII is awesome and perfect and etc... When i played it i saw more flaws on the game than other people did, and couldn't handle how Cloud's personality was, just that broke the game for me. When i said this to other people, they wanted to rip my head off because i didn't spoke good of Final Fantasy VII... It's another reason i haven't watched Gurren Lagaan... people have hyped it for me so much that i don't feel like watching it at all... That's why for a reason i have this motto... Games that i want to play that will come out, i see no trailers, i dont let anyone spoil it for me, because i want to go into them with a open mind, that way i can make my OWN opinion of what i play or see, not other peoples opinions clouding my mind.

Yeah it's like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Powerpuff Girls they're such a ridiculous concepts that it's can be easy to get into it. I was a HUGE fan of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Powerpuff Girls they're my childhood enjoyments. All I had to do with My Little Pony Friendship is Magic was to forget about the past experiences with the franchise and remember that this has half of the writers who did The Powerpuff Girls and it has male fans that they truly enjoy it without being annoyed. The show has Emmys and Leo Awards I don't think they give them out for a bad product.
I found it funny that they kept complaining that Deadpool's teleporter wasn't mentioned. Specifically because Pinkie can teleport at will WITHOUT the use of a teleporter, so nothing would've changed.

The big thing about toxic fandoms is that it is a phase. People call the Undertale Fandom Toxic, People call the Pony Fandom Toxic. Well most toxic people have left. Still a few lingering around but most of what is left is of the oppinion that "Try it and see if you like it. If not fine, not everyone likes the same thing." The only time Those peaople (including myself) turn toxic is when someone comes along and starts attacking us over what we like. Then it is less defending the fandom and more defending our right to like what we like.
In short, there are toxic people out there, both fanatics and anti fans, they are all assholes and need to be ignored.

The whole toxic fandom stuff is why I worry every time I mention I like Steven Universe to anyone. The loudest (yet smallest) part of the SU fandom is so vile and savage that merely mentioning the show to a non-fan can immediately get you blacklisted or even lead to threats of violence. It's worse if the SU fan is female. Like me. Hence my fear of bringing it up.
I'm a fan of Steven Universe, and I'm usually calm and collected about it, and I myself am usually quiet, due to being a person who doesn't want to start any fires. I have friends that are Steven Universe fans, and they are usually quiet about it in the same vein as I am.

They were so bad that the entire SU fandom was on everyones hate list for a while even though the majority were genuinely decent people. Admitting to being an SU fan back in the day was a dangerous thing to do. I'm glad that things did calm down over time.
In response to people in fandoms driving outsiders away because they don't "get it", I'll say this: those people aren't the majority. Please don't let these or anyone as bad as them sour your experience with something that you're interested in watching/playing/listening etc. They're not worth being taken seriously. It honestly sucks being driven away from something that could be a thing you like, or even love, because of certain people in said fandom. I, along with a lot of others in the brony fandom, usually help others understand why we enjoy the show when they ask. Same with any other thing I'm a fan of if they ask. In short, try out something from a big fandom/very popular, if you're curious, to see what the big fuss is and if you may like it too. If you don't, that's fine. I don't let the bad minority of a fandom keep me from discovering something I may really like/love (i.e. Sonic, Steven Universe, Undertale, etc)

MLP is a good series but you CANNOT force it on people, either they like it on their own or they don't. That's pretty much it when it comes to the show, idk if it's due to me being into various cartoons/shows throughout the years ranging from oldies like Popeye and Ducktales to animes like Cowboy Beebop and Drifters and even live-action stuff like Kamen Rider: Gaim and Garo but pretty much the best way to view something is on your own and by your own choice.

Yeah, but sometimes it helps to have a little guidance. The episode I usually leave as a recommendation for those willing to give it a try is season 2, episode 3 (Lesson Zero). Great introductory episode, only 22 minutes long. Even that early on in the series it lets a person judge whether or not they're interested in more.

Even though I'm not a fan of _My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic_ myself, I have read enough about it and it's fans to be relatively positive that the toxicity of that show's fandom is not at all about keeping the show "pure" from "outsiders".
Actually, I suspect it's the opposite: if you really like a show / movie / game but there is an established fandom who wants to deny you your right to like said show / movie / game, or, worse, if there are people who know nothing of the piece of Entertainment in question who want to deny you that right, all in the name of, as you said, "keeping the fanbase pure", there are, roughly, two things you can do:
1) Let your enjoyment be soured by the toxic fans
2) Fight for your (unquestionable) right to enjoy whatever it is you enjoy.
The so-called "bronies", fans of _My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic_ who happened to be adult males, went through option number two when confronted with idiots who wanted to claim they were "sullying", or something like that, a show that, according to aforementioned idiots, should be only enjoyed by little girls. And the vast majority of said idiots had never seen a single Episode of the show. So, the "bronies" opted to fight tooth and nail for their place in the fandom of the show.
Good for them, of course. However, there is *one* downside to fighting that hard for your place in a group or some right that's being challenged or whatever: once you've won, or sort of won, many who have fought find it very difficult to *stop* fighting. And when there are still eyebrows being raised when they shouldn't be, it becomes even *more* difficult to distinguish between those that threaten the rights you've fought to gain and those that simply disagree with you on some things. That's what's happening with the adult portion of the _MLP:FiM_ fanbase right now, I think. They've fought *so very hard* to even be allowed to *form* this fanbase, that they have come to view anyone who doesn't like the show, or even doesn't like it as much as they do, as a new threat to the relative safety their position now holds.

As someone whose watched MLPand loves Deadpool, i can say this fight ended the only way it could.
Okay, I have a few things to say about this.
1. I am a brony, to say the least. But the difference between the weird side of the fandom (Smile HD and Sexual stuff and so much ect.) and me is I respect people's opinions on this subject. Mlp is a good show but only to the people who enjoy it. The stereotypes for bronies are that they all get trigger happy if you say something bad about the show. Its not a perfect show and it never will be. It has been getting better over the years but that's not the point here. The point is that stereotypes are bad and most bronies would RESPECT your opinion and I do. If you guys don't enjoy it, it is your opinion and yours alone and most would respect your opinion if they would just listen to what you have to say.
2. Smile HD is on the bad side of the fandom, you were just introduced to it by the horrid fans who suggested it. Which in turn made a bad first impression on the show as a whole. Lullaby for a Princess is a whole different story. That is the good side of the fandom. Even though you didn't understand the story behind it, which is totally understandable. (Btw , I can tell you about it if you would like.) People really shouldn't suggest mlp stuff to the people who don't enjoy the show, its not right. The only thing I could think of that you might like that is mlp created is if someone made animations of your reactions in pony form. You might like that better, who knows. Anyway, to answer your question, yes everyone I have seen, even, bronies think Smile HD was one of the most messed up things in the fandom.
3. Lastly, I thank you guys for at least attempting to watch it. I like how you at least give it a little respect. I know it must be hard. I agree with your opinions on it. And I think people get too trigger happy about it sometimes. I understand your dislikes for it and I respect it. It gets what it rightfully deserves. I am a brony (quite obviously (cartridge)), and I don't ever force anything I like down other people's throats. I became a brony because friends kept recommending the show and showing me tidbits of music and the like that I enjoyed the sound of as well as snippets from the cartoon I thought were actually pretty funny. If none of you like the show, that's fine. I think that /maybe/ you can enjoy the characters, because /I/ started to enjoy the characters before I even watched the show. So, there's that.
In regards to the character Pinkie, yeah she is really kind of annoying, but she has proven to be quite funny at some times. If you like nerd stuff, then maybe you should investigate the character Discord. Check him out, experience his brand of humor, I don't know. It's up to you. Anyways, I'll just leave this here and say that you did another awesome show and I loved your reactions more than the actual clip (which I have already seen) itself. Letting a fandom ruin your experience with something is not a good way to live.
Fun fact: The voice actress for Seras Victoria for hellsing abridged is a big mlp fan. So there's someone that you guys enjoyed hearing(Since you guys like hellsing abridged) that loves the show MLP.
I totally understand the toxicity thing. To use a tired example, when Undertale first appeared, I gave it a look. Looked interesting alright, but ultimately not enough to pull me in. Then the fandom exploded. I was mildly annoyed by all the 'You're going to have a bad time' quotes everywhere, but I decided to just let it be, even giving the trailer another chance though it still not enough to entice me.
Then someone who was on my Steam friendlist popped up and started strongly recommending Undertale to me. I tried to tell them that I just wasn't interested, but they kept insisting I play it, assuming I was being put off by the simple graphics (even though I grew up with old school game cartridge graphics), before finally telling me 'F*** YOU', and unfriending me.
Granted, that person was no loss from my 'friendlist', but that ultimately left such a bad taste in my mouth about the current state of the fandom, I actively started ignoring everything to do with the game.
Nowadays I don't care as much, and heck, I may one day play Undertale, but I will do so under my own volition and no-one else's.
I understand i can be annoying but i would like to point out that there are many different reasons as to why people can come off as pushy and obnoxious. Personally i almost became an alcoholic and broke my hand because of recklessness as a result. All of this damage happened because of all the shit i`ve received in my nearly 4 years as a Brony.Thankfully im am well on my way out of that hellhole and my hadn is healed again. However, many people are in WAY worse situations because of that same bullshit.Therefore people get really eager when they come across people that might like whatever they like. They seek understanding instead of being told to go kill themselves. Undertale fans face that same treatment, often for no reason. So that person you mentioned might have had his fair share of problems.
That is a very good point. I have been lucky enough to not encounter that level of hate from others, (and I'm sorry you went through that) and it does pain me that I had ignored offering that olive branch to a differing fandom because of the more vocal and obnoxious part of it, something I'm very aware of within my own fandom.
I never got to know that person much; even before the Undertale Incident they had always annoyed me to a small degree, though I never showed them any spite for it. I do hope they are doing well though, and have found a much better friend to connect with than me.

Oh, I can believe that. The people in my life I enjoy being with the most are most certainly _not_ bronies. That isn't to say that I don't have brony friends I enjoy talking to, but they are far and few in between.

I sadly cannot watch a lot of reactions because anybody who isn't in the mlp fandom overlooks the battle and it feels that its more of a chore to watch it for them. All to the point where they just continue to hate on the fandom and the ponies themselves instead of actually reacting. They say that it was stupid to have an inclusion at all from us. Its sad. It happens to every fandom, I know but it really is genuinely saddening to be outcast by the minority which damages the majority and loses out on genuine talent.

It's fine if you're a fan of something and want others to share in it or if you want to express your love for said something. But not at any point should you try and force what you like down someone's throat or treat them a certain way because they aren't "respecting" what you care for, in the way you did, if they do take an interest. Fandoms should be a place where people can discuss their love/dislike of something, ask for help, or general questions in a welcoming environment.

I've noticed that both pony Death Battles are very, VERY deliberate match-ups. Why does Pinkie fight Deadpool? Because it's the only match-up in which NEITHER of them win. If Pinkie or Wade fought anyone else, they would win. They're undying reality breakers, they're basically unbeatable.
Meanwhile, with Starscream vs Rainbow Dash, they deliberately picked Starscream because it's practically the ONLY transformer that Dash could possibly win against. Dash is pretty OP, sure, but she has nothing on a robot with guns that can aim and use their brain properly. Starscream was chosen to show off how ridiculously powerful a pony can be despite being... well, a pony.
Tbh, if they ever do other Death Battles with ponies (Twilight Sparkle, etc), I expect the ponies will always win or else come to a draw. After all, who wants to see a cute little pony get ripped limb from limb? Er... besides the sick fucks who make gore-filled My Little Pony horror fanfiction. They don't count.

I can understand not wanting to watch or play something because everyone is hyping it up and saying that you have to watch it. Angel Beats and Clannad is the main thing for me. I still refuse to watch Clannad (Watch two eps I think of Angel Beats and don't want to see the rest) because of the fans and because they're not my type of anime. Never liked the slice of life types or whatever Angel Beats. Don't hate the people who do like them at all. Just the part of the fandom that thinks you have to watch one of these or both in order to be a true fan of anime.
So in unrelated news, I'm considering getting Pokémon Sun (or Moon) and Dragon Ball Fusions. I'd already have those two or three cartridges in my hand (because why not have both Sun and Moon), but I can't afford them...yet.

A fandom is like a person and the longer it's around the more it matures, both inside and out of said fandom.

The thing about fandom is that there isn't any fandom that doesn't have an infestation of annoying, stupid, and/or outright pretentious pricks. Every fandom has them, it's just that some of them do a better job of ignoring them than others. And from my perspective, a fandom is like a person, the longer it's around the more it matures, yes the fandom of My Little Pony has those obnoxious people, but does it have the same amount as it did in the earlier years? No, because those obnoxious people matured and /or left the fandom.
I've been in the fandom of My Little Pony since Season 2, and I've seen it grow by a ton, and I don't just mean the size of the fandom I mean the maturity of the collective. And the same goes for people outside of the MLP fandom, the amount of people who absolutely despised and/or disliked the fandom and all that watched it was immense when it started to emerge, but here we are about 5 years later and there are still a lot of people who hate the show and fandom but nowhere near the amount it used to be because they either stopped caring about it or ended up liking the show themselves.
The My Little Pony fandom as it stands now is a MUCH better fandom than it when started. And that's because people both in and out of the fandom matured. And at the point of writing this I realize I've been talking too much about MLP so I'm going to bring up some more examples from other fandoms. Starting with Undertale which has TONS of obnoxiousness in the fandom, possibly more than when the MLP fandom started, (Now just because I said that doesn't mean I hate Undertale) and the amount of people who hate Undertale and it's fandom are SO immense but, after a few more years, it will have so much less of those people.

If the fandom has ruined something for you simply by being pushy and excited, the fault is in you. They are not going to stop being excited, and to them, they're not being pushy. How you handle it, how you react, and how you make decisions is your responsibility. And if you decide a knee-jerk "I don't wanna" response is a good enough one to get behind, it's not the fandom's fault. It's yours.
I understand that you don't like mlp and I respect that. I'm sad but I respect your opinion. I would still recommend some of the fan works, which are often amazing. Some would even say that if they could only keep either the show or the fandom/ fan works, they would choose the fan made content. I hope you guys check out some to see for yourself what you think.

As a Brony, I can agree with the Toxicity part. I got into the fandom thanks to the show's spin off "Equestria Girls". In the first movie (there are four), there is one character that is introduced named Flash Sentry, and when he was introduced, half the fandom was "like this guy, I ship him with Twilight" while the other half was like "SELF INSERT! GARY SUE! KILL HIM!". I just want to point out, the brony fandom is known for expanding on the character of ponies who are seen in the background, who have no character, like Derpy Hooves whose appearance today is the result of an animation error from when she was first introduced, and Lyra Heartstings whose obsession with humans (given by the fandom of course), is the result of the way she was sitting on a bench. But when it comes to Flash Sentry, the majority of the fandom treated him like the devil, all because he his character wasn't flushed out well. To further my point, when the third Equestria Girls movie, Friendship Games, came out, the fandom was hyped over the Shadowbolts, who were to be the "Anti-Mane Six". But they barely got any development, despite that, people obsessed over them. Seriously, these people can't make up their fucking mind!

This was too interesting for me to pause when the AGDQ-run I meant to watch started. I especially liked the part about cartridges.
The show kind of reminds me of Animaniacs and even Loony Tunes, while still being its own thing. I can understand not liking it, hopefully though you guys have at least watched the show before judging it harshly.
Make sure you blow into the cartridge if it's not working properly, also I am a brony, and I agree that it does really suck when you have people in a fandom that can completely ruin something that's really good for other people just because of how much of a shitty representation they make for it

Can you please put a gate on your microphones in post to get rid of that annoying double track of the video - not that hard to do at all and majority of recording software will have a gate on. just set gain cut off to remove the background noise but low enough to activate when you speak only takes a few minutes of playing around with the cut off

I have a friend who dislikes New Vegas and loves fallout 3 as well. One reason he says is the switch from 3Dog to Mr. New Vegas, which I understand but don't think it's enough to create his dislike the game. He finally told me his real reason was because, and I quote, "New Vegas is a glitchy mess." And I say, well yeah it's a Bethesda game. What do you expect? He played it on console as well so he couldn't download any patch mods. I understand his dislike, but I feel he just hasn't given the actual game a chance.
I know a fandom that's pretty toxic; the Smosh fandom. When Ian and Anthony brought in more people to do more skits, so it wasn't just Ian and Anthony going back and forth between costumes, people started calling them sellouts, told them to get rid of everyone else, and just go back to the two of them, Ian's mom, and Stevie (who I think became the director of Smosh's videos). And eventually, Anthony left Smosh due to UA-cam pretty much saying, "You can't make videos like these, you have to make them the way WE want you to make them." I was sad that Anthony left, but nowadays, people are still bitching about it, like, "Bring Anthony back! Get rid of all these other losers so Anthony can come back!" And even if Anthony did come back, they'd just call him a sellout because he and Ian made a video specifically saying the reason why Anthony left Smosh, yet the fandom doesn't give a shit and are basically saying, "We want you to sellout so we can genuinely enjoy Smosh again." 🤦♂️. And with Smosh's videos nowadays, admittedly, they are hit-or-miss, but when they're funny, they're actually funny. Yet these hipster assholes just treat it like, "They're not funny because Anthony left. We'll unsubscribe if you don't bring him and his emo hair back." 🤦♂️

I've been watching you guys for a while now, and I've always enjoyed the banter between you all. It's something a lot of reaction channels tend to lack, especially ones where there's only one reactor. If you don't mind, I'd like to make a recommendation for a series of videos you guys could watch. I would love to see you guys react to more LoadingReadyRun stuff, like their long running Commodore Hustle series. You could even react to it's spinoff, as well, called Friday Nights (if any of you know anything about Magic the Gathering). If nothing else, I know Ben would love to show the rest of you more LRR stuff. Oh, and don't forget to change the ink cartridge in your printer later.

Two examples on how toxic people are... i love Sword Art Online, and there was one time that when i said i love it, not because its a "Harem" but because it saw it, and rewatched it, and noticed things that are really well done and things that could have been done better, but there was someone that litteraly came on me like a rabid dog just because i said i liked it, demanding i explained why i liked it... like... it's my opinion, whatever you say wont change it, specialy since the person only saw the first half of the first season and not all seasons felt like he had the right to a opinion.
Another example was that i played Final Fantasy X first, as it was my first game, i Love it to death, but until i got to other games, people would talk and talk... and talk.. on how Final Fantasy VII is awesome and perfect and etc... When i played it i saw more flaws on the game than other people did, and couldn't handle how Cloud's personality was, just that broke the game for me. When i said this to other people, they wanted to rip my head off because i didn't spoke good of Final Fantasy VII... It's another reason i haven't watched Gurren Lagaan... people have hyped it for me so much that i don't feel like watching it at all...
That's why for a reason i have this motto... Games that i want to play that will come out, i see no trailers, i dont let anyone spoil it for me, because i want to go into them with a open mind, that way i can make my OWN opinion of what i play or see, not other peoples opinions clouding my mind.
