I have the moto g play 23'. I actually like my phone, i am looking forward to upgrading to the 24'. One complain i do have for the play 23' is how thin it is. It easily falls through my hands. But then again could just be because i have small hands lol 😂
Would this be a good phone for me if I basically just text, watch UA-cam, listen to audiobooks and read off my phones. I usually don’t take photos or play games on it. I was debating this or Google pixel 7a for $400 can
@user-wz6gd1qv4i ya. I actually bought the Motorola phone, but the charging was so slow that I had to return it. Went with a pixel 7A and I’m glad I did
I have the Play 24 5G. I'm having an awful time trying to find an actual case that fits! The headset hole is on OPPOSITE side of camera!! Every case that says it's for a Play 5g 2024, but then, the headset hole placement is above the camera. I don't like having to retype everything I write, either! Keyboard skips and then, I have to delete letters, numbers and then, try to write all over again! I will never buy another Motorola.
The US phone market sucks because in India you can get the Moto g54 for $169 full price that has 8 gigs of ram, 128 gigs of ufs storage, better cameras, dimensity 7020 5g, bigger 6000mah battery, 33w charger in the box, and other things like a headphone jack at the bottom which is the only place It should be. And for only 24 bucks more you get 12 gigs of ram and a quarter terabyte of storage. But in the US this is what we get, overpriced trash. Motorola makes big profit selling us suckers these phones that in India sell for only $100-110 full price unlocked. And make no mistake they're in no business to lose money on sales in a loss leader strategy, it doesn't work with durable goods like phones and especially in macro economies with low purchasing power.
Damn, that deal is insanely good. I wonder why India gets such incredible deals? I do know that Motorola MASSIVELY overprices their phones on release. Perfect example, the 2022 Moto Edge had an MSRP of $600 (though I believe they launched it at $500 and just said "$100 off") yet I bought it when they put it on sale for $140 new/unlocked. A $140 phone with 1300 nits, 5g, NFC, 128gb/6gb (I wish it had 8gb) wireless charging, etc was the best budget phone deal I could find.
The g 23 was turned into garbage when Verizon brought out Motorola then Verizon sent out a malicious update that disabled the carrier service and disabled the wifi calling toggle switch rendering it useless for wifi calling, shame on Verizon, also Walmart has the g play Android for49 dollars
I don't know if 5g makes a difference if you're outside a big city. I think that 5g speeds outside of big cities are not much faster than 4g.

2024 is way better than the 2023 model.

Thanks Kevin Breeze for the review on the moto g play 2024! This is just what i needed before upgrading😃
Which one has better battery life?
2024
Is there a moto G fast?
No. Discontinued
What is the best low cost vlogging phone by any manufacturer?
Why don’t you run them on Wi-Fi and open some apps so we can see what they can do?
My frakking ipod touch from 2019 is faster and more responsive than my MGP2023. Fingers crossed that the MGP2024 doesn't also suck.

I'm watching this on a Moto G power 2019.
I thought the 2024 had 6.7 inch screen
They have good deals on there much better phones.
2023 has washed out low contrast and there's no way to adjust it...
These Motorola g play are fine for like a young kid or for business but honestly Motorola phones are still bad in my opinion
@VeedoCapone yeah that’s why iPhone and one plus are better
Dont forget Samsung
@@Weezyfbroly34 Samsung makes good phones even their budget phones are besides the A05
NO IT IS NOT
Nah Motorola is a more clean & mature phone, Samsung is for kids
