I really like using the Power. I personally don't mind the LCD screen at all and don't need the stylus. It's been a solid camera and good battery so far after a month.
Brighter and more vibrant screens are not necessarily better for all users. Theres nothing wrong with LCD screens. Personally cant stand OLEDs, they are hard on the eyes. I have the Stylus and have to dull it down to use it, just like Pixels and Galaxy phones. Im not alone. Google it. Theres a place for LCD in the market. Calling them out as inferior just cause they are old tech is a bit ignorant.
I dropped my phone last week, shattered the screen, Glad I did. Purchased 2024 Moto g stylus. Got lucky, boost was running a special and it was time for me to upgrade so I got the 5G stylus for $39.99. I love this stereo speakers. You truly do get a very rich and distinctive stereo enhancement. Very fast charging. For the price I could not be happier with this phone. Great images of beautiful color. Love my Motorola's. This will be my fourth one.
Congrats fellow buckeye, likewise multi-moto owner, also recently dropped fone now needing to replace it. Left Boost last year now hoping to get a similar deal :)
I snagged the G Stylus on AT&T postpaid. It's a decent phone. I didn't want to shell out 1,300 for the 24 Ultra in just a few short months the rumor mill will be churning for the 25 series.
Power 2024 is a great phone if you can get it discounted from a carrier, my only gripe is the heavily processed photos it takes even when compared to my 2021 Stylus 5G which has its own photo issues but takes a lot cleaner / less processed shots overall. If you're familiar with editing RAW files you can get more respectable shots from the camera using Pro mode since this bypasses the aggressive processing used with the standard photo mode.
If you go into the Dolby Atmos settings go to custom settings and raise everything up and turn on surround sound that's what I did on my Motorola Moto G stylus 2023 4G and it sounds awesome especially for gaming
I have a razor but I ordered the stylus 5G and got it the other day The stylish screen is so much better and easier on the eyes I highly recommend it even versus the razor the screen is 10 times better
I just got the g power and it is great. No problems at all with it. No issues with gaming. Battery is very good. Im use to samsung devices. So the screen lacke but i got it for free crom cricket
My thoughts on gpu/gaming performance as it wasn't mentioned much in the video. The g play 2024 has the snapdragon 680 with adreno 610 gpu, the same gpu used in the snapdragon 665 that my old phone had. With that phone's adreno 610 gpu, genshin impact was playable at up to medium graphics with 20-30 fps. Highest graphics can run, but at unplayable fps. I would expect similar results from the g play as the 680 has the same gpu. The g 5g 2024 is my current phone that I am using to write this comment on. It has snapdragon 4 gen 1 with adreno 619 gpu. From my experience playing genshin on it, it is a night and day difference from the adreno 610 in my old phone, as well as the g play. Genshin's highest settings are now playable at 30+ fps, even reaching 60 when looking at the sky or ground for some reason. The gpu in the g power 2024 is a powervr gpu with similar raw performance on paper as the adreno 619, except the compute performance/FLOPS, which are way worse. Genshin may or may not work on it as genshin's system requirements say "non powervr architecture." If it does work, don't expect better performance than adreno 619 or overall good optimization (even with other games). I do not recommend the g power for gaming for this reason. The additional ram will also not make a big difference in most games unless you have several background apps (I don't run many apps or widgets in the background). I don't have a ton to say on the g stylus. Its adreno 710 gpu should get the best gaming performance out of all of these moto devices. I'd predict around 45 fps in genshin highest settings, based off benchmark scores. From my observations with genshin, it's gpu bound with highest graphics and cpu bound with low/lowest settings on my new g 5g 2024 as well as my old phone and likely with any other budget/midrange android. High end phones with snapdragon 8 series have overbuilt gpus relative to cpus, and should be cpu bottlenecked even on highest settings.
@@cia1985 Yes, if genshin , a very heavy game (for mobile standards) can run so well on the moto g 5g 2024, the g stylus will do it even better. Idk much about the games you mentioned, but you said mid level so they should have amazing 60+ fps performance.
The Moto G Stylus is gonna be my pick. I have the Galaxy A54, and it's a buggy mess, and stutters like that dude who can't say the letter M. The plastic leather texture, the headphone jack, and the expandable storage are big selling points. I don't use my smartphone that much (I watch youtube and movies, game a little bit, and seldom use social media). I also hear that motorla optimizes battery to last an entire day. @@lifeisshørt_420from my experience, prepaid customers seem to bounce around the most to get the phones for 99 to free. You could ditch your current carrier for Metro, get the Stylus 5G free with a number port. In 6 months when something better comes along you can port to Cricket and get another device for 99 to free. It's obnoxious to do but some do it.
