I had most of this toyline back in the 90's. Sold them off years ago. It was a nice line.

Really nostalgic for these figures. I remember always seeing these at KB Toys with those 3/$10 price tags

This was the greatest line of action figures ever for a television program. I was not collecting during this time but I did buy several of these just because I thought they were awesome.

I loved these every bit as much as the X-Men and Batman animated lines. All of them were some of the best figures to come out of the 90s! Man, I miss some of those old toy shows! ✌️

@That Junkman In case you weren't messing around? The characters name is (Felicia Hardy) AKA ''Black Cat''. And during that period 'Toy Biz'' was actually a (subsidiary of Marvel Entertainment) and was eventually renamed ''Marvel Toys''. And speaking of ''Black Cat''...I could have sworn there was a (Black Cat action figure) for this line? And I also thought they made a ''Punisher'' action figure for the line with a (dark blue turquoise suit and light gray trench coat)? Which is what he wore on ''Spiderman'' TAS.
Oh, FYI- The ''Nick Fury'' who is portrayed by Samuel L. Jackson in the MCU, is actually ''Nick Fury Jr''. Who is the son of ''Nick Fury Sr'' (the white Nick Fury). In the comics his mother is CIA operative ''Nia Jones''. And his uncle is S.H.I.E.L.D. operative Gabriel ''Gabe'' Jones. (Whom "Nick" Fury Sr'' served with in World War 2 as a member of the Howling Commandos). 😉

The early Spiderman, X-Men, and X-Force toys were the direct descendants of Marvel Legends. It was actually the super posable Spidey that got the idea rolling at Toy Biz.

Was a fun line. Most of them I had to buy at the comic book store cause toy stores were always sacked and loaded with pegwarmers.

That Spider Woman was also in Toy Biz's Iron Man line. They missed the boat on a number of figures they could have made: Mary Jane, J Jonah Jameson, Black Cat, Flash Thompson. That super posable Spiderman is another that was sought after and going for good money on the secondary market.

@@ThatJunkman It was probably repainted as other characters as well. ToyBiz did a lot of repainting of molds to create new figures.

Oh ship .. ! That clear Venom fig!
    These figures look great!
I've only seen a few of these.
They still had a few of these left over at K•B in the late 90s and early 2000s.
I saw that K•B sticker on Rhino, 3 for $10 (in the video). :)
I would want the super poseable Spider-Man, Venom,
Stealth (clear) Venom, Spider-Woman, and Carnage.
That 2 pack Venom and Carnage would be awesome with these. :)
    Thanks for the video

Spider-Man (1994) is how I got introduced to Spider-Man and many Marvel superheroes and villains introduced in that series, Venom, Carnage, the Insidious Six. Next to Batman, Spider-Man has some of the best villains. X-Men was also a fantastic cartoon from my childhood, who could forget that awesome theme song?

I randomly found myself thinking about these toys mere moments ago, so I typed stuff into the interwebs and BANG! Of course Junkman already did a video on them. It was a fun line. Do kids have neat toys like this today, or do they all just play on their phones?

@@ThatJunkman was there a toy line in the mid 90s that didn't have a "fake" rare figure? That would make a great video.... as long as we don't have to see a close up of the princess!

I'm not that up on Spidey...but was there an animated episode with a character called Dr. Smog or similar? Please don't tell me I imagined it or it the Mandela effect? I hope someone on this channel can put me at ease.
    Thanks all!!!!

Some of these looked just the way they should (Hob Goblin, Scorpion) while others looked awful (Venom is a huge let down).....next to Spawn figures that came out at the same time this line looked pretty crappy over all. It really wasn't a step forward in any way. The Secret Wars Hob Goblin figure that came out 10 years earlier actually looks more interesting and less "stiff". The eyes on some of the Spider-men were brutal too actually. The most fitting part of the cartoon was the voice of Peter/Spiderman provided by the movie version Greg Brady. Other voices were good too.... but the fact that every episode was overly rammed with as many villain's as they could get on screen really ruined every story line.....it was all about action even though they weren't allowed to have spiderman punch anyone so all the action just looked like a lot of moving around. Being a life long Spier-man fan I really wish they had done a better job. The 60s series though limited in its animation was so much more fun. Spider-man and his Amazing Friends was more fun too actually.

Samuel L. Jackson came after Nick Fury's appearance in the cartoon; Samuel L. Jackson didn't "inspire" the creation of the character.

X-Mem, Spider-Man, Iron Man, Fantastic Four, Hulk, Silver Surfer, Avengers United We Stand were the first Marvel shared universe.
Done FAR better than the movies.
That Spider-Woman mold was used for the first Invisible Woman from the F.F. series and the red haired dark blue/black costume Spider-Woman from the Iron Man line.
The mold was also used for a Kitty Pryde from the X-Men mail-a-way and at least 2 more figures I know about, but don't remember which characters. I think one might have been Mary Jane Watson.
Toy Biz was notorious for using the same mold for character after character after character and repainting the same character just to sell more toys.
