This was such an iconic series back in the day and the figures, especially if carded, look really nice. I'm kinda surprised they have not risen in price more than they have. Oh well, great for the collectors of this line.

It was the 90s and the figures had real cloth capes. 2022 every Marvel Legends got plastic, says something's!!!!!!
I had that combat belt batman as a kid. Boy, do I regret opening and playing with that one.
The only Animated series figure I had was Two-Face. I was more into the Batman Returns movie figures at the time.
This is what everyone thought about the POTF star wars figs and ships on the 90's... Well if you got the falcon it might be worth quite a bit or the at-at.
This is one line that I always thought looked great but never bought any. I still occasionally think about getting Scarecrow, Killer Croc, and Manbat.
I remember these first series figures when they came out at our Toys R Us Toronto location. Combat Belt Batman was my first buy and I wanted the Robin next, but he was NEVER there! So I bought Two-Face and Riddler during my next visits instead. I remember seeing Penguin there, but never wanted him! After my 5th or 6th try, the worker went to the back room and brought a Robin for me (and one for another kid my age who was looking for one) and I was over the moon! I remember it like it was yesterday!
The Batman figure on the Bane card is probably the most valuble. I GOT Combat Belt Batman loose

That Adventures of Batman and Robin figure of Harley Quinn is her first ever figure. That adds to the coolness of that one.
It is also well done. The face and body are on model with the animation character design.
With all the recent interest in buying vintage 80's & 90's action figures I'm always surprised to see how cheap these are.
Remember when Superman Clark Kent dressed up in the Batman suit he beat up Bane. On a episode they should have made that action figure
Next to Bob Ross, batman the animated series was the cartoon that changed my painting style. I loved this cartoon. Glad I still have the trading cards.
I have 2 combat belt Batman figures. No accessories however and they were played with.

Cambat belt Batman was my first Animated Series figure AND was the very first figure I really took care of.
My dad took me to Ames so I could pick out a figure for my 9th birthday and from then on, I stuck with that and treated all my figures like gold.
I don't what it was, but I'm glad it happened like that.
To this day I still have all the accessories and he's in great shape.
A year or two later my mom got me the AS Batmobile, which was out of character for her, because she typically doesn't give cool gifts. :) hahah!

When i was in the collectibles fair circuit, pretty much every vendor had a literal ton of Batman, Star trek and POTF2 stuff they were selling for only a few dollars
I still have then all from childhood. Parents got them for me at Toys R Us and mainly KB Toys. I remember I could never find Scarecrow, Croc, Mad Hatter, or Harley Quinn. I have them all now! I've been collecting and got alot since in 2009-2012. I would get lots MOC off eBay for dirt cheap back then.
Edit: you said Penguin was hard to find where you were from. He was a peg warmer when I was a kid. He was one of the first figures I got from the series.

I loved the Batman The Animated Series but I never got into collecting the figures. I was buying video games with my spare money around that time. I remember seeing the figures in stores and being tempted to buy some of them. They are great looking figures.
Some of the multi packs are pretty expensive now. Such as Alfred, Gordon, Talia, Scarface
Loved those figures. My son is playing w all my loose ones now. I'm glad they aren't worth a lot so I can easily find them at toy shows for cheap.
LOL. I had original Star Wars action figures and sold them during a personal financial crunch. Paid off some bills. No way I could retire off them😅😅😅

I like the spin master ones except for the holes in the capes…I know they are for attachments but wish there was a better way

I used to have 3 pieces mint on card combat belt batman back in 2007. I have since either gave them away or thrown them away due to lack of spaces. Kinda miss them now...

Don't open that Batman figure with the misprinted card that says Bane. Those are worth more than the ones that are done correctly because it's a factory mistake and those are rare.
I remember going to service merchandise and they had so many Combat Belt Batmans, they were on sale for $1.99. They had a least 20 of them. I was looking for the Penguin and Clayface. Who knew?🤷♂️

I had Bane in the large pack too... My favorite Bruce Wayne was the Batman Returns one. Looked just like Michael Keaton. Catwoman looked good too. But Penguin looked like the Super Powers Penguin, only in black. Nothing like Danny DeVito... A Max "Christopher Walken" figure would have been pretty badass too. Would have loved any Christopher Walken figure! LoL 🤣👍

The penguin was popular and was hard to find. Did they have a penguin toy that was recalled and stopped production due to the missile firing umbrella ??
I'm from Uruguay, i have the complete collection sealed and i pay for each villain and Robin U$S 30 but for the Combat Belt Batman U$S 300... it's most expenssive than the Gentle Giant 1/6 scale Combat Belt Batman figure, (I have too).
Man I never really collected the line although I actually have all four seasons of BTAS. but I did have L.O.B (Legend Of Batman action figure) I gave some figures away and bought one which was Crusader Batman (the one I previous gave away) but I still have my Batmobile from that line.
Most of the ones I got were loose in a Batcave I got off eBay.
The reason Hagen called himself clayface was because of a production he starred in that went by the same name in the comics he sees that someone took his roll of clayface which made him mad to the point where he was killing everybody in the production one by one making all of them look like accidents until the Batman showed up. Too many Batman villains have the same reason of being made black mask had a scuffle with Batman and got the mask singed (or however you spell it) to his face when it came to joker he fell into a vat of chemicals due to a old metal bar collapsing the railing (depending on which one you read) after having a scuffle with Batman even Firefly there is one too many villains that share the same reason they look like what they look like after a scuffle with Batman.

I had most of these as a kid. I think I had just about all the Batman figures even the one that's worth a lot but as a kid I opened all my figures because I wanted to play with them. I still have a joker but the one with the green face and it's probably the only one I still have not sure what he's worth.

They are high, but at least they ain't thousands of dollars. I've started collecting them recently.
Mr. Freeze is one of the better figures in that series because his accessories make sense.
The multitude of Batman figures, IMO, was something of a cash grab because they could reuse the base mold to make the costume-of-the-day Batman figures.
When you check the current asking prices for the figures in your collection that you have had for 20 years, don't forget to run those numbers through an inflation calculator. I prefer index funds for my investment plans.

I remember thinking that Kenner was going to do Darth Vader like they did Batman, when the 1995 Star Wars line was first announced. Fortunately they kept things mostly movie accurate.

@@ThatJunkman RELATIVELY movie accurate in the sense that we didn’t get an “Electroshock Darth Vader” with cartoon lighting bolts painted all over him or any crap like that. Obviously the physiques were ridiculous.

It looks out of place that they used the Batman Returns Robin body mold for the AS Robin, but it's still a great figure.
The early 90s were where it's at for great Batman toys.

It was such a great series and collecting the series was all about collecting for the fun of it. If collecting for profits, shame on you. They made too many for scarcity. Enjoy you collection and you will get great value.
Your miss carded bane might be worth money, there is a market for mistake collecting.
