Katy, Tx. I received my package in mail yesterday from fishbites. Also received the hoodwink package. Can't wait to try them both out. And yes fall weather is welcome here. I fish in Louisiana and Texas and hunt Louisiana. Come on cooler weather.
We use to use PAM garlic spray on our lures in south Florida for bass fishing. It was common practice amongst us in the 80’s and early 90’s. They stopped making it in garlic scent and wished they would start again!
Living in south Alabama my entire life and chasing those flatties since 1980 using an entirely different method but never heard of using Pam. Really enjoying your videos.
Always look forward to your new video & have been looking for these Hoodwinks. Definitely looking forward to fall & live on Mon Louis Island on the Bay.
Born and raised in Mobile, living on the eastern shore. Can’t wait for the fall bite. I was busy last year and only caught the tail end of it. Looking forward to some cool mornings and some live shrimp under poping corks love the videos, please keep them coming
Awesome video brother. Yeah we are headed to ocean city Maryland to fish a couple days this week. Then getting ready for archery season to start. Fall is definitely my favorite time of year
Obviously flounder don't like that scent. Best way is 2 different rods, one with Pam on both and the other without Pam. Take 5 cast each and keep switching rods. 2nd plan is another good flounder catcher and each have their own setup. Enjoyed your video as always. Live in Suffolk, Virginia near the Chesapeake Bay and we have started getting cooler temps coming in after a storm.
I believe a better test would to have someone fishing along side of you with a different bait. Maybe as you drift, you fish the bow with a regular no-Pam bait and at the stern, someone fishing with Pam baits. If the other person catches fish with Pam and you have already hit that area, I'd say Pam would be a definite success.
That’s two many different variables in my opinion, different bait, different cast location, different angler? One angler will usually out fish the other person due to a different presentation or bait.
I usually catch most of my fish on the bottom hook when fishing with artificial. I might try the Pam next time either way! I heard wd-40 works too, but I’d rather taste of Pam/butter over that! Thanks.
WD-40 does work. When the white trout bite is hot, a small strip of white dishrag sprayed liberally with WD-40 will catch them as good as anything out there. Much like the PAM it’s the oil slick that looks and smells natural to a bait.
Re-do plz 🙏❤️ god bless... definitely had the same thing happen with the flourocarbon..also got a 2000 yard spool of fins windtamer braid that was spooled on a dozen or so reels that would just break, break, break lure after lure what a mess and headache un-spooling and re-spooling all that line.🤯
Yea I bought a brand new roll of Berkley trilene I think abt 15lb test. Every time I would tie up the hook eye would break the crotch out of loop. Talk about a bad day had to stop at a on the water bait shop and get new line and re-spool everything
Same brand and size happened to me years ago. Was told it’s the fluorescent lights to degrade it. Berkeley used to have a window on top of the box (to view the line ) it came in and if it stays on the shelf too long the lights will cause it to go bad in that exposed spot.
@jelassiterII I did notice a change in the color as I got into the spool and it stopped snapping after that point. But the whole light thing make sense
Finally I have a use for the Pam in my pantry.
Lol, Defiantly!

Thanks for the info brother, I would definitely try that if they still made it!

South Texas. Been waiting on some cool weather
Heck yeah, thanks for commenting brother!
One thing is for shur, the pam doesn't deter fish.
Very true, lol

Thanks, mine as well brother!
North alabama! Starting on food plots soon. Love your channel
Thanks, I appreciate it!
Capt how do you think this Hurricane will affect the flatty bite in the marsh this weekend?
I'll find out Friday morning! I think the bite will still be pretty decent.
@@bayoubanditcharters I hope so. I’ll be out there with the ole double rig either way!
Pam? Really? I think you're nuts! Lol, Imma trying it Brudda!😂
Lol, I am!

Yes, the flounder didn't seem to like it as much as the redfish and trout, lol! Thanks for commenting.
@@bayoubanditcharters love to see you. Nathan Rich, and Capt. Collier go back offshore to deep drop!
Alrighty then! Awesome video Bandit. Where in the heck did you get this idea from??😂
Thanks brother! My mind works in mysterious ways, lol!

Yes, my new spool is doing great!

Yep! My new spool is doing great!
I have had more break offs with floro than mono. Hard to trust it anymore. I would cast my bait and 12 feet of line and lure would just go flying

I've never tried this, but I would still take the dirty boxers or live bait over pam...just saying 🤔 good experiment though!
I have a request big dog...do a "ccc" on some easy white-trout! That'd be awesome!
The only time I tried the fish bites products the croaker kept eating the tails off. Frustrating to say the least
Why Pam?
Why not, lol! It's cheap, oil based, easy to apply, and non-toxic. I had to see if it would work!
Experiment?????🧐
You just tag flounders. You don’t tag reds or specks?
Correct. This video explains the program I was selected to be part of. ua-cam.com/video/YmA9h-UP85o/v-deo.htmlsi=Imu0Ug0DC3A7MIlk
