    Trying spinning to the left when getting up shallow. Makes it a lot easier.

    How are you maintaining water preasure with the jack plate that high?

    • @bayoubanditcharters
      @bayoubanditcharters  7 годин тому

      Motor gets plenty of water with my jack plate all the way up. I could actually raise it a few more inches as discussed in the video. The Shaw Wing forces hard water back down to my intake and prop, thanks.

    Impressive. Guessing you change impellers quarterly.

      As I discussed in the video, I replace my impellers every 200 hours, and they still look just fine.

    Loved it man. Do t run over anyone in the shallow. Ethics Morals respect for others. Only thing I can find bad with the prop or operator. Enjoyed as always.

    How in the world do you pick up enough water to cool the motor? Very cool idea though.

    I have a 22’ xpress and it bounces wide open. I can’t run full throttle.

      The HPP prop is a stern lifting prop and should take care of that issue.

    I have problems turning my prop wants to cavitate

      My 4 blade did as well, the HPP prop eliminated any cavitation!

    Question is.. how much skeg is left?? I’m beginning to believe you might have some sort of death wish.. You are right, I live in Mississippi and the mud isn’t good for it!

    They are amazing props. I just can’t justify 2 grand for a prop.

      They are not cheap, but let's put it in prospective. Half the price of a new trolling motor isn't a bad deal for the performance enhancements and shallow water capabilities you get out of this prop!

      @ sounds like it’s a great fit for your rig. It’s a really good feeling to finally get to that point!

    Your motor is sitting pretty low jacked all the way up. A tunnel isn't going to help unless you can figure out how to raise it up some more.

    • @bayoubanditcharters
      @bayoubanditcharters  7 годин тому

      As I discussed in the video, I will ether build a new tunnel hull boat or raise my existing transom height on this boat.

    If you stick your prop deep enough down here in Lower Laguna Madre you actually hit the petroleum silt layer and it lubricates your water pump!
    🤣😂
