How deep is the water typically next to grass? 1-3’ ?

Ive been using this minnkota in islamorada and all the features work very well. My only complaint is the weight of the remote. It feels like a brick hanging from my neck. The old remote was a lot lighter. Thanks for the video tutorial

There are instances where color can make a huge difference in catching or not catching. More often than not though using a bait that you have confidence in is going to catch more fish. Mind that is not 100% always true but more times than not it will be. Great video as always brother. Keep living your dream. 😎

Enjoyed the vid… I’ve never really paid attention to color of my plastics I fish with mainly due to I’ve always fished with a H&H tackle, split tail sparkle beetle, smoke color on a 1/8 lead head ( no color) wire hook tied to Trilene big game green , 10lb test line , with NO leader!!! I catch flounder, specks, and redfish on this tried and true setup for over 40 years now!… Take this advice from an “ole salt” from Pascagoula Mississippi… Experience ,technique ,and knowing where the fish are is the the key to success brothers… 🕷️

Hey Jody! New subscriber here. Just love these flounder videos as I am in an area loaded with them and I haven't been able to just target them yet. Want to try the double rig later this morning. Thanks for showing in detail how to tie the dropper loop. I found it very helpful as I am primarily a live bait fisherman using shrimp under a popping cork. One more technical question for you. It looks like you fish it fairly quickly and it may not actually scrape bottom much. We have an abundance of oyster shells in SE Georgia and getting hung up is an issue. Are you reeling fast enough to just be above the bottom? Especially when you are marsh fishing along the edge of the grass. Can't wait to see some trout videos as we are approaching prime time in this area.

In my personal opinion the color doesn’t matter the top lure usually gets hit the most. The bottom drags the floor while the top lure is in their eyesight. If they’re laying on the bottom and you drag something past em on the bottom they won’t see it they’re waiting for it to go over em not beside em! Just my 2 cents! Tight lines fellas

From line 1:16 you say you have the "Puck" as it is translated by closed caption and by the transcript what is the name of that unit and do you have to buy it separate?

Top two were right and barely managed to break them but I can’t seem to get a wrench properly on the bottom bolt to break it loose. Any advice/tips appreciated.

Thank you for posting this. Hopefully someone can help solve my question because minn-kota hasn't been able to. I have a Riptide Powerdrive TM with the advanced GPS remote. I'm using this on a 15 foot Jon boat. The TM is mounted in the "guide position (i.e. offset on port bow) and I do NOT have a heading sensor. My issue is that the image of the TM on the remote does not match the actual position of the TM. I'm assuming that may be due to how the TM is mounted. think this is impacting my use of spot lock, autopilot and drift mode. Any thoughts? THANK YOU!

I received this relay today from Amazon. The power input wires are Black & Green. The wires coming from the “Blinker” switch are Blue, Green, & Purple. Which colors from the switch should attach to the Black & Green on the relay?
