This is amazing! When I was around 7/8 my mom took me to get my haircut. Halfway through the cut the stylist suddenly stopped, had weird, erratic behaviors and pulled my mom over immediately. She found 2 live bugs and refused to finish the cut. I was mortified! Even at that young age, I felt dirty and shame. Thankfully the manager pulled the stylist off the floor, finished the cut and suggested treatment for the lice and nits. Kids should never be shamed for situations out of their control. Had I gone to a person who was kind, understanding and genuinely wanted to help would’ve saved a lot of embarrassment and heartache. What you guys do is incredible! Thank you for taking care of these sweet babies🖤
I’m a stylist in Pennsylvania. By board regulations you aren’t allowed to treat a client with lice in the salon sadly. Well while I was in school this dad with two very young girls came in and had washed their hair with flea shampoo, put flea spray, and flea treatment in these poor babies hair. He demanded we just buzz their hair off. I refused and took them in anyway being abundantly cautious and stayed away from any other clients or students. Used my own tools from my kit and threw them out after. I eventually was able to comb through their hair that he had matted up and essentially melted with these chemicals. Burnt scalps and all. I want to say maybe 9 and 6/7 years old. I got them as clean as possible and kept them under a scalp/hair treatment for probably an hour. I didn’t charge them and pretty much demanded that father bring them back in about two days so I could check them and told him how to clean the house. It was infuriating. That is actual abuse. Please if anyone is here because you looked up how to get rid of lice listen to these ladies do not put nasty chemicals on your child(or your own!) scalp. ESPECIALLY ones made for fleas and animals etc. smh. Do better.
Thank you For this so much. A lot of people try home remedies and listen to people that aren’t lice professionals and end up burning their children scalp some children’s hair has fallen out it could be very dangerous putting chemicals on the children’s heads. We are glad that we get to educate the world and head lice and we use organic products that ship all over the world thank you for what you did for that family that’s a beautiful deed that you did
@@theliceangelsllc1908 of course. I also have always offered to help anyone I know, or frankly that just needs help. I will take you into my chair at home and comb your head. It’s ridiculous that you can’t take someone into your salon here. It is very easy to not cross contaminate these days. But we aren’t even a booth rental state. I will say most people think it’s a myth BUT for little littles you really can use a mayonnaise treatment to smother the lice. My dad has been an entomologist and owns his extermination business for 35 years and has been invaluably helpful with these things over the years. @The Lice Angels Corpus Christi Tx how young can your products be used on? I’m going to have to order some to keep here. It’s amazing to see professionals developing these treatments and preventative care. I just wish so much that head lice could be Destigmatized. Just like you said they don’t discriminate.
Soak your head in baby oil and put a shower cap on for 2-4 hours ( the longer the better) then comb the hair in sections with a lice comb... Pretty much what she did in this video. I'm an aunt of 13 and a mom of 3... Works every time. 👍 add a little tea tree oil to your shampoo to keep them away...
Yes!!!! My son would come home with lice once a month until I started adding tea tree oil to his shampoo, haven’t had them for years now! Such an easy preventative solution!
@@marikiemarie7622 an aunt of 13 does not mean she has those kids on a permanent basis. It takes 1 contact. If a parent forgets to add the teatree oil or doesnt check.. Lice procreate as fast as fleas.. Lice happens. But having sure fire prevention doesnt mean its practiced 100% of the time.
When I was a kid in asia, my mom just buzzed off my hair. Since the country's religion is more cater towards Buddhism, I never felt werid or got bullied for being bald in school.
Fleas still carry disease like Haunta that can kill you and the plague. Not to mention other things. I can't stand the idea of idea of a flea if they came of a rodent.
Back when I was a kid, my mum just spray the heck out of a bug spray and the cover my head with a towel for a whole day. Works....though I wonder if that was a safe thing to do🤔🤔🤔
My daughter had lice a couple times in her life. I read so much info and learned a ton and was able to get rid of them each time. It is a huge chore... huge!!! By the good news is the adults die within 72 hours if not feeding. And the nits(eggs) can’t survive off the head. That was key to stopping the life cycle promptly. Starve the adults and get nits off the head.
These poor children/people!! I feel so bad for every single one of them when I watch your videos. God Bless you guys for being there for them and helping them in their needing hour. 🙏🏼❤️🏡
How does a parent let it get that bad..? There's far too much info out here for treatments that can be done with things you may already have at home..This is level 10 neglect.. I used to hate having to get my hair picked through with toothpicks at school, messing up my hair, only to find nothing,EVER..
You shouldn't judge. When I was about 8 or 9 I caught lice from school. Before we knew it they had turned into a full blown infestation. The lice shampoos didn't work, and that was the only thing my mama knew to use as she had never had to deal with them before. My grandmother finally broke down and took me to a professional, got my waist length hair chopped off to my shoulders, and was told to use tea tree oil. It's not something a parent thinks to check for with everything else parents have going on. Especially if said parents have jobs to go to. The only reason we discovered mine was because my head was itching really bad. By that point they were everywhere. I don't think you realize how fast a lice infestation can happen. It even said at the start of the video that the mom had already tried over the counter products. It's not nice to judge
I always loved when the school nurse would go through and do lice checks in class. Having them comb through your hair with those toothpicks felt so good lol. I only had nits once (thanks gymnastics mats) and was traumatized. We caught it super super early and got rid of it in a day. But that anxiety has lasted a lifetime. I always assumed that you do a treatment or two and problem solved. I never realized it could be this hard to get rid of
It's an AWESOME thing what u guys are doing for these children and their families. I know it's frustrating and stressful to the parents and the children that are affected by this. Hope u guys get a location in Dallas, TX soon. My mom is teacher and there are kids at her school that this happens to and their lovely parents don't know what to do. Thanks again for ALL that u do 🤍🤗💜🥰🤍
look it tells you all about how it get to one person to another but none of them tell you where they coming from. I not going to believe it just developed in the person head 😕 If you calling me a gurl thank you
@@nothingbutlovestaysafe6018 supposedly lice originally began from gorillas. Called gorilla lice. It literally spreads from head to head contact or clothes, brushes, Combs, pillows, blankets, hats, etc. It makes its way around the world all over.
@@Angelofloveandhappiness I just thought it's crazy when I look it up it gives me on how people gets it installed of where they come from. I had to do a lot of digging just to find out just a little. I hope I never get it and I feel bad for the people who has or have had it and hope its not to bad on removing them.
@@nothingbutlovestaysafe6018 it can be hard to get rid of. I've had it, my kids have had it, it has always came from classmates in school, usually elementary and middle school. But then when a child brings it home, they end up giving it to their mom and maybe a sibling or two. When the infected child uses a brush or someone uses their pillow after them or sleeps in the same bed, it spreads. If u have thick, curly or coarse hair, it's really hard bc u have a comb with the teeth of the comb so close together to scrape the lice eggs off the roots and them slide it down to the ends and off the hair. Like my daughter for example, has super curly ringlets and it's all the way down to her bottom. She is 7. She got lice from someone in her class. It took me forever to get rid of them bc I couldn't run that comb down her hair from root to tip. See even tho u put chemicals on their hair to kill lice and eggs, if you can't comb the lice and eggs out then u can't get rid of them. I had to cut a few inches off her hair to make the ends easier to comb through. Then u have to purchase lice spray for your couches and beds, wash all bedding and pillows, bleach your brushes, then repeat the hair treatments 2 or 3 times until it's gone. Then days later they can show back up bc a lot of the eggs survive the 1st treatment!! And then usually u have to treat other family members later!! It's a real pain in the ass seriously. Some people have their kids' heads.
I just don't understand how a parent could let their child go like this! I have had kids in my family get lice before including my own and there was times when we couldn't afford the medicine for it but I would sit and pick for however long it took until I got rid of them! There is no excuse for a child to have to do with this! Maybe I'm missing something I don't know. I just don't understand it. To me this is the same as child neglect!
They are treating super lice. They don't die easy. The options on the market doesn't work, that's why the girl's scalp was so irritated. Her mother tried treatment and it didn't work. That isn't neglect. The child wouldn't have gotten treatment if she was neglected.
@@kessiawright1710 that’s where dfcs probably stepped in! I won’t waste my time again typing too much.. SOMEBODY HAD TO HAVE NOTICED THAT BEFORE IT GOT TO THAT POINT!!!!!!😡😡😡😡😡
I actually got lice pretty bad when I was 8. My stepmother was a hair dresser so I actually washed my hair every night or she would be on me about it. There was no neglect as far as hygiene went. she sat for hours every night picking everything out but we just couldn’t get rid of them. My hair looked exactly like the girl’s hair in the video. It took my grandma coming into to town and washing my hair with vinegar for a week and stripping down all the beds in the house for the lice to disappear. There were 5 kids in the house and both my parents worked full time so it just took that extra help to get rid of it.
@@dedraallen840 The parents did notice and were trying to get rid of them. If the things that are sold doesn't work, lice will multiply. That is why they took the child to get it done. If the parents didn't care, they wouldn't have been trying other things before they got in to the company. Neglect is not bothering at all, but they were actively trying to get rid of the lice, but what is available isn't working on super lice anymore. Yes, it is horrible that the child had them so badly. Lots of kids get lice. It goes around in schools and daycares. It still does not mean they are awful parents. Lice prefer clean hair, so we know the child was being looked after. Maybe you should read up on super lice. It can take a long time to get rid of those things even if you are proactive and keep using the stuff they sell in stores. Super lice are head lice that have genetically mutated to become resistant to the active ingredients in some traditional lice treatment products. Even the Mayo Clinic has information about super lice because they are so hard to get rid of.
@@kessiawright1710 I have dealt with them! How many times am I going to say that I’m a grandma to 14?! I don’t care if they spent a million dollars on treatments. You have to take the time to sit and comb and kill until your arm feels like it’s gonna fall off!!! They may have been “actively treating “ as you say, they apparently never completely treated that child!! They didn’t take the time to sit an make sure all the bugs and nits were out. The child may kick and scream for a few minutes, but if you explain to them that you’re not trying to hurt them, and tell them straight out that they could possibly get sick from this, they’ll finally be ok.
There’s a word for when lice get that bad... NEGLECT!!!! I’m sorry, but there’s NO WAY somebody didn’t notice before it got to that point!! I’ve had to deal with it with my school age grandchildren and I’m telling you, you notice before it gets that bad. This poor child is most likely so anemic. I hope somebody was held accountable for this girl’s condition 😡
Dedra Allen it's not necessarily neglect. I had 4 daughters who were in middle school and one got them they all 4 ended up with them. Trust me when I say my girls were not neglected. The life cyle of the louse is what's happened here. Just luke with my girls. My one daughter had really dark hair. I combed and treated spent hours picking. 3 weeks later it was like a baby boom on her head. Missing just 1 pregnant female can cause this despite my best efforts. I finally went pediatrician got prescription trimmed the length on girls hair and used olive oil every Fri nite to catch any stragglers I mite have missed. Metal lice combs were my best weapon. Thank god their grown but seriously it's very hard to deal with lice. They hide and just when u think you've got them all you see another. Try not to criticise this girls mom may not know how to handle this at least she's taken the child to someone who can
@@michelleatwood6846, as I stated, I have dealt with it! I have 14 grandbabies. 5 GROWN children and 14 GRANDCHILDREN. You can type your little rebuttals until your fingers are blue, lady. I’m telling you right now, ANYBODY would have seen that child clawing her head before those bugs got that big!!! I’m not putting down a parent that doesn’t notice the first bug that happens to stray into their child’s head. Letting it get to this point...!? Come on now!! The child has red, irritated patches all over her scalp! NOBODY noticed her scratching? Have you heard about the little girl that actually died from anemia caused by lice? I guess that’s one reason this makes me so angry. We can go on and on about this, but it’s as clear as crystal, that’s a case of neglect!!! It’s Not A Shame To Get It (especially for a child!!!!) , IT MOST DEFINITELY IS A SHAME KEEP IT FOR THAT LONG!😡 This particular child in this particular video is the child I was referring to, btw.
I treated my two nieces lice using only olive oil!!! I left it in overnight (with plastic wrap around) and the lice all died (it chokes them or something?). I did another treatment a week later for any hatched eggs. The issue was completely gone after that :)
I had lice on my head(like 20% - 45%) from 2010 till 2014. before lice my hair was thick & healthy, but after 2014 my hair becomes thin, frizzy & dandruff. I used few drops of neem oil with coconut oil as my mother told me to do.
Back then my mom would use natural remedies like mayonnaise mixed with olive oil, and wrap our hair with a plastic bag or shower cap for few hrs and that always seemed to work for us lols
I have 2 girls with long hair. Always put it up for school. Wash hair twice a week with lots of conditioner to follow using a nit comb. Inalways like the cheap white plastic ones as you can see every little grain that comes out of the hair and wipe it on kitchen roll. We also use a teatree spray when putting up their hair as the lice/nits dont like it.
Lice is so annoying. When I was living in my old apartment with my two older kids, they kept getting lice and we couldn't figure out where it was coming from and I ended up finding out later on down the line that it was my neighbors 2 Doors Down because they were not getting rid of the lice from their hair and I ended up getting lice too myself and my hair was super long like down to my butt if not longer and it's annoying to have to literally comb through your entire head little piece by little piece to get all of that out and it itches like crazy. I'm so glad I don't have to deal with that anymore.
My step daughter had a lice problem. Over the counter stuff I noticed does not work well. I used conditioner with a shower cap. Left it on for like 30min. I was able to get them, but it was a serious chore.
But you actually worked to get them out. Good for you. When she says the mother “treated” her with otc products, and that’s what caused the irritation.. no dear, what caused the irritation was the poor child’s finger nails!! 😡 She May have thought she was “treating” her head, but treatments consist mostly of combing and killing! Give me a break!
@@dedraallen840 the itching is the worst. Poor kids scratch and scratch then everything burns their scalp. They are hard to get rid of. I combed her hair every other day. Got them gone then 2-3 weeks later she would come back with a head full again .
My niece had lice infestation.. my sister tried everything .. she says olive oil finally made it possible to get all the lice removed.. IT WAS A TOTAL NIGHTMARE THAT WENT ON FOR OVER A WEEK.. I had lice when I was younger me and my sister both and we had here that went all the way down to our waist..Mom was not gonna cut our hair .. she used OTC lice removal
Yep olive oil works amazing!! I'd tried other stuff (like from the pharmacy) with no luck. 2 treatments with the olive oil though and they were all gone! :)
Over the summer my little ones got lice from their older cousins who were in school and after combing and trying home remedies My pediatrician prescribed my little ones Natroba (spinosad) I used it only for ten minutes on my little ones hair and also on myself and we have been clean for months I check all the time and we are still clean the product worked amazing it wasn't very strong and a little went a long way I'm thankful I found relief! if you or your little ones are struggling try talking with your pediatrician about Natroba. I know it could be very hard dealing with lice so I hope this helps someone. 🙂
Over the counter ivermectin lotion works well too. It use to be an rx but available otc now! It doesn't smell either. Kills lice and eggs. 10 minutes and they're gone!
I hope the mother is taking care of the issue at home. You can clean the hair all day but if the mom isn’t home spraying and washing everything thing at home the poor child will get lice as soon as she gets home.
Bless her heart, I bet she was itching to death! I've been lucky enough to only get lice once, when I was an adult, just a couple of them but man I was freaking out. The stuff I had to use was so terrible smelling. That's awesome there is a product out there that is natural and works and isn't stinky.
My mom used to use a lice killing shampoo, and after killing all of them she would cover my whole hair with a conditioner (like a thick one) and use a comb specially for catching lice. It worked. Also, I used to smell like a salad going to school because my mom would spray my hair with a mix of vinegar and water, which works wonders in preventing lice.
I don't understand what's so hard for parents that they don't get rid of this prob asap. The store bought treatments do work if you follow the directions!! It's just follow directions and check your kids hair every day and treat again if you missed some!! It's a must to shampoo with the treatment and leave it in the hair the amount of time the directions say and use the comb that comes with the kit. Get all the bugs and eggs out! Wrap a towel around the head while letting the treatment stay in the hair. And wash all cloth things in there room including curtains and get the spray for furniture. Don't forget to spray your CAR SEATS. Most people don't think to clean the car too but it's probably why you keep getting them back!! If you are cleaning everything intensely the first time you shouldn't have to do it again but if it's caught late and there are tons of them then some are so small that you don't get them. So shampoo again in two days!! And again two days later. Don't forget to spray all furniture they come in contact with every time you shampoo the hair. These little boogers are little in there just hatched state. You almost need a magnifying glass to see them!! Can't stress enough to be determined to clean everything cloth!! Hope this helps. Please do not shave the child's head just because you don't want to take the time to do it right!! Would you want someone to shave your head and send you to work??? I think not!! Do not scare your children !!
Not always. When my daughter was in grade school they sent home papers about "super lice" and how the lice are adapting i guess u could say to the over the counter meds. Also, there r some children who r prone to producing more than others...there are so many different aspects that can come into play. And sometimes I feel the drs don't know what they are talking about bc my nieces and nephews are bi racial (white, dominican, black,Filipino) and my sister was combing out their hair and using the Rid every other week. The Dr claimed that bc her kids were bi racial that they were more prone to getting them. Oh and best one I heard (could be true but I never heard of it) when I was pregnant I got lice out of nowhere and the Dr told me that sometimes pregnant women "PRODUCE THEIR OWN LICE EGGS" ! I was a senior in high school at time and would of thought a girl in school gave them to me lol 😆 🥴🤦♀️
WOW!! hell this is crazy..! I wish we had something like this when i was growing up. I have thick, course, black Native American hair. I use to have to sit for upon hours & hours for my mom & my aunt who would switch about every 2 hours. Normally take around 5-6 hours sectioning off my hair in different sections. This would of been amazing to have when i was younger. GOOD JOB EVERYBODY on this product..!! 😁😋😄🙌👏👏
Tea time oil mixed in a ton of conditioner, then divide hair in thin section, comb out tangles then use the lice removal comb. Use a cup of water to tap rince the lice comb. No pain from hair being pulled.
Yea, but WE can get it too. We kind of "don't" because we use thee most grease & chemicals in our hair. Now we are going natural so we need to definitely be careful. 💖
Lice doesn't just like white people though . . Black people aren't immune to catching lice . In Africa it's actually a big problem amongst black people and the white people there. . Lice prefer clean hair, no products no oils grease ect . And they have trouble holding on and clinging to curly or kinky hair . That's why a person with straight hair and someone who wears a lot of products in their hair are less likely to get lice . But they can still get it . I have never had lice and i am white. I have very thick curly /wavy hair never had any issues . Lice can be killed it's really not that big of a deal . The only problem is having it all over your home . They say everything has to be washed , so that would be a real bitch .
@@kellysuzanne976 stop lying, am from Africa and we don't have a lice problem, they don't even have a check lice days at schools like they do in Europe.
Ok all you need is olive oil you can add tea tree oil as it repels lice. But soak hair in olive oil overnight just wear a shower cap. Wash it out in the morning it smothers all live lice comb out as much as you can and in 3 days do it again as any eggs that may have survived would have hatched. I recommend buying a little thing of tea tree oil and you can add it to your regular shampoo and conditioner and it will help repel lice. It’s the same thing that’s in the expensive lice repelling shampoo just a hell of a lot cheaper. My middle daughter with curly hair to her butt got lice and I did this and it worked like a charm. Super easy and non toxic and cheap
Yes I feel so bad for all the people commenting who have been struggling! The olive oil treatment worked perfectly for my nieces and that was after I had tried over the counter treatment from the pharmacy that did nothing. The olive oil was so much better and actually worked! :)
If you've never had lice or super lice you have no idea what a battle royal you're in for. Got super lice from my granddaughter about three years ago and it became a nightmare that I began to fear would never end. Nothing was working. Washing everything, buying new pillows, spraying bedding, furniture, carpeting. My hair got so damaged that once I was finally sure that the battle was won I had to cut my hair very short. This product would have been a godsend. Not sure if it helped or not, but I started taking high doses of oderless garlic. Could have just been everything else I had been doing, but I won the battle after I started taking it.
Did you try olive oil? I left it in my 2 neice's hair overnight (wrapped in plastic wrap, which I had applied a blowdryer to once it was on their hair to help it all warm up). The next day I could comb all the dead lice out! I did the treatment again a week later for any hatched eggs and the problem was gone after that! Sorry you had such a bad experience :c
I come from a Polynesian family and let me tell lice ain’t nothing to us lol. We check the hair ourselves, pick out the lice, use a lice comb, and treatment. In my culture hair is very valuable so there’s no chance of cutting it off. It’s also not a big deal with other children around, we just be super cautious. I grew up with 5 sisters, it would rarely spread. Worse place to catch lice is in school!
Myself nor my kids ever got lice. I think I heard they prefer darker hair to blonde. But I always put gel, mousse or hairspray on both my son & daughter everyday. I’m pretty sure I read that hair products will also help keep them away. So glad I never had to deal with this.
I'm going to say that dedication is the key. If you're not willing to attend to longish hair daily.....shave it. But you still have to deal with laundry and bedding. No sharing combs, hats, pillows. BTW, African-American children rarely get head lice. Truth. Look it up.
My child is biracial(black & white) and unfortunately caught head lice in kindergarten! Spend numerous days & $ cleaning EVERYTHING!!! Including carpets and furniture!
She goes to school and gives them to other girls she should be home school till they are all gone why the mothers let it get this bad I will never understand
Where is the link it isn't in the description? Just wondering it is good to be preemptive about it no one in the house has lice but my daughter does go to school she has super thick hair and she has a sensitive scalp so when I've used the lice treatments from the store before yes they have work but they've also irritated your scalp to the point of super dryness and if I can help her get rid of the lice and not cause her scalpinating damage that would be amazing if she ever gets it again or if I ever get it again it's been years and years and years thank goodness but still doesn't matter
I've heard of ppl putting hair products in kids hair to protect it from getting lice. Lice love clean hair so products create a barrier. I remember my mom always telling never to share hair stuff(brushes etc) with anyone, and to put my winter hats, scarfs, and gloves into the sleeve of my jacket. It's possible they could transfer if close enough.
You cannot assume that no one else in the house has lice even if you "checked". That is how it keeps coming back. You have to do everyone in the house, and clean the entire house, everyone's beds, blankets, pillows. vacuum the carpeting ect.
This may be a stupid question, but why is it that it's usually kiddos who get lice? Adults don't get as close to one another? Adults pay more attention to their hair?
Kids share things like brushes and hats and have sleepovers and swap clothes. Idk where they come from, but (in the US at least) generally kids get them and if you don't catch it early enough they spread it around. I've never heard of an adult giving it to their kids, but I know plenty that have gotten it from their kids. It's not nearly as common now as it was when I was a kid...ya know 30 something years ago😂
My daughter has hair past her waist & is non verbal (she doesn't understand what lice is or the hours it takes getting every single nit out) so i would braid her hair then twist it up & cover it with a scarf every morning to prevent her getting lice I would spray the scarf with part tea tree oil part water in a bottle BEST PREVENTION THERE IS!!!! Her bus driver later got a huge bottle put the same in it & sprayed her bus daily, she never had an issue again. Spray their backpacks & hair thats literally all u have to do to prevent it. You can even put 4 drops of tea tree oil in their shampoo. I cant tell u how many outbreaks there was at her school & they couldn't believe she never got it. **Its a lot better to prevent it than to treat it**
My mother would heat up virgin olive oil rub it throughout our hair and scalp and wrap it in saran wrap. Several treatments then combing hair with a fine tooth comb did the trick on us 5 kids.
Wow. That was pretty amazing how much came out. Her head was super infested! Poor girl. I got lice twice as a girl. It was not fun. I remember my head was so itchy and dunking my head in water to relieve it. My parents barely helped me get rid of it. My older sis did.
You need a bunch of location's in Florida ASAP! LICE LOVVVVE FLORIDA! the schools here have a hell of a time they actual stock lice treatments in the nurses office!!!!! This would be amazing to have in all the schools instead of the nix stuff! It's way to harsh and then this happens like this poor thing had happen. You woman are absolutely amazing thank you for all you do! Love watching yalls videos
I used Listerine Mouth Wash as the first step treatment. Three types of alcohol sucks the blood right out of the little boogers. Completely soak hair, use clips to put hair up, shower cap for 2 hours. Second step, do the same thing with white vinegar for 2 hours. The vinegar loosens the nits. I followed up with a quality dandruff shampoo to calm the scalp. Worked every time.
@@theliceangelsllc1908 We did not experience the drying out. However, we did follow-up with a warm coconut oil treatment. I had used the OTC lice treatments in the past and both girls had adverse reactions. It worked for us.
This product is such a good idea. There is a need for a product that eliminates head lice and nits, without chemicals and actually good for hair. When my Daughter was little she got lice from school a few times in a short time span. I washed her very long hair in the old lice shampoo, which I hated to use, especially multiple times. After shampooing her hair I still had to spend hours pulling out the nits all the way down each very long hair shaft to remove them, the old shampoo did not remove nits or kill them, as far as I knew. It was the only way I could get them out, and I couldn’t stand to think of the nits still being in her hair. It was horrible for her and myself. This product would have been amazing to have 25 years ago. I will remember it if any of my Grandbabies ever need it.
I have naturally extreme thick dense hair. I always got lice as a kid. We tried everything we cud get our hands on. The only thing that helped was my dad bleached my hair and dyed it. Never had lice again. Wudnt recommend cuz its damaging to hair but it worked.
My daughter's school nurse told me to wash and condition her hair in Sauve.... coconut scented to PREVENT her from getting lice. Idk if that's true but she said it had to be the coconut scented.
Back when I was a nurse I treated many patients for lice. The nurses sprayed our hair with hair spray and the lice seemed repelled by it. None of the nurses ever got lice from the patients and those suckered liked to jump around. Combing out the nits was a process.
I'm not understanding how it gets to this point if kids are getting baths everyday and parents are making beds and all that jazz. Should it really get to this point?
Apparently they're actually more likely to attach to clean scalps (easier to reach the skin etc) and also they sadly can't be washed out in the regular way. My niece's both got a bad infestation very quickly (because another child at the school had an infestation that had not been treated for ages.) I got rid of all the lice with two treatments of olive oil :)
This is absolutely beyond neglect of the mother, how do you think these children feel with there hair absolutely infected with lice and can't get them out, it's absolutely disgusting that a mother would not be bothered to take them out of her hair..
My grandson came home from a sleepover and I found a bug crawling on his head. I took it to the pharmacy and they told me it was head lice. straight home and treated him and avoided having to boil the house O.O
This takes me back. Even though my moms was as holistic as someone can be, she always used the lice chemicals in my head. I cant help but this its the reason my scalp has had issues my whole life. Now that I have kids, I use olive oil. Works great. Unfortunately my oldest childs strep mom used the chemical on my childs head and now their scalp is a flacky mess too.
Thank god i never had lice in my house.. Or growing up!!! Im 68! I know of people putting kerosene on the hair to kill them and apparently it works immediately! Then wash condition hair as normal! None of those kids suffered any consequences! ♥️ ♥️ ♥️
Makes me want to call my 26 yr. old daughter. When she was in school if someone said the word lice I knew she would have it. She loved to hug everyone and hanged all over people so when lice started up she always got it. I would spend hundreds of dollars treating her, house, and vehicles. Weird thing was she slept with her little brother every night and he never once got it.
I would love to get an email address for you. I have an "idea" or sorts. Your products are amazing, and I, personally, know a large community of people that need this!!!!
1) why do parents let their kids get this bad it’s neglect 2) You don’t need to pay 100s of £s for your fancy treatments all you need is conditioner and a bit comb
I’m a nurse. An elderly lady that was neglected came in once with lice on her head and the home was infested with bed bugs , and all kinds of bugs. They had to shave her head and medicate her every few hours. The bugs were all over the hospital room. It was horrible.
ESPECIALLY ones made for fleas and animals etc. smh. Do better.
That stuff has been known to kill animals or make them very ill. That's so sad.
@elyafoust God Bless you for taking care of those girls. 🙏🏼❤️ It takes a village!
Thank you for what you did for them 🙏🏼
Thank you For this so much.
Damn, got me scratching.
Me too 😩😭😂
Got me gagging.
Work every time? Why would fhdt keep getting it so often if it worked?
@@marikiemarie7622 an aunt of 13 does not mean she has those kids on a permanent basis. It takes 1 contact. If a parent forgets to add the teatree oil or doesnt check.. Lice procreate as fast as fleas.. Lice happens. But having sure fire prevention doesnt mean its practiced 100% of the time.
When I was a kid in asia, my mom just buzzed off my hair. Since the country's religion is more cater towards Buddhism, I never felt werid or got bullied for being bald in school.
Lice really be like fleas for humans
I was literally just thinking this!
Fleas still carry disease like Haunta that can kill you and the plague. Not to mention other things. I can't stand the idea of idea of a flea if they came of a rodent.
Back when I was a kid, my mum just spray the heck out of a bug spray and the cover my head with a towel for a whole day. Works....though I wonder if that was a safe thing to do🤔🤔🤔
Same
No its not a good way on doing it. To many bad chemicals that can lead up to cancer, skin irritation, dryness of the hair and many move.
Definitely could have gone badly...
No lol. No it’s not.
😂 omg this is tickling me! I know you had a lot of “off” moments in life after that
My daughter had lice a couple times in her life.
Thank you so much love. We love what we do!!!!!
How does a parent let it get that bad..? There's far too much info out here for treatments that can be done with things you may already have at home..This is level 10 neglect..
I used to hate having to get my hair picked through with toothpicks at school, messing up my hair, only to find nothing,EVER..
I was thinking the same thing. How did her parents let it get this bad?!
Exactamundo!

How do people get this with out knowing it? How do it start? Where do they come from?
Gurl 👀
look it tells you all about how it get to one person to another but none of them tell you where they coming from.
I not going to believe it just developed in the person head 😕
If you calling me a gurl thank you
@@nothingbutlovestaysafe6018 supposedly lice originally began from gorillas.
Here in the UK hairdressers refuse kids with lice x
Thankyou for sharing this with all of us 💜🙏
Thank you for all that you do to help people, especially children. What a wonderful group you are!!! 😍❤💖
That’s because oil suffocates the lice and loosens the eggs 👍🏻
God bless you all for doing this for these people!!!!
Thank you so much beautiful we absolutely love seeing the smile on their faces when we get them LICE FREE 🖤
You guys should make a place in LA and Fresno
We definitely want to 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Bless her heart, I bet she was itching to death! I've been lucky enough to only get lice once, when I was an adult, just a couple of them but man I was freaking out. The stuff I had to use was so terrible smelling. That's awesome there is a product out there that is natural and works and isn't stinky.
Same here.... one of the worse

Is it true if you put tea tree oil in your shampoo that you use everyday will that help prevent reinfestation?
It can be very harsh on the hair
This makes my whole body itch 😩
Tea time oil mixed in a ton of conditioner, then divide hair in thin section, comb out tangles then use the lice removal comb. Use a cup of water to tap rince the lice comb. No pain from hair being pulled.

Everyone is a level 10
Can we see different levels?
Myself nor my kids ever got lice. I think I heard they prefer darker hair to blonde. But I always put gel, mousse or hairspray on both my son & daughter everyday. I’m pretty sure I read that hair products will also help keep them away. So glad I never had to deal with this.
Where can i buy this ,im from Malaysia ,,please notice ,i really need this
I'm going to say that dedication is the key.
Will neem oil work?

How do I get the products?
THELICEANGELS.ORG
😮 wow, that’s crazy! I had no idea.
Thank you 🙏🏻
My dad used basic-g, I product from the shaklee line. Actually worked!. I had hip long hair in high school.
I apply tea tree oil to the scalp after styling to prevent lice from school. Never wanna go thru that again!!
You are truly angels. Keep up the good work. You will be rewarded for certain! 🙏
This will completely dry Their hair out
@@theliceangelsllc1908 We did not experience the drying out.
However, we did follow-up with a warm coconut oil treatment.
I had used the OTC lice treatments in the past and both girls had adverse reactions.
It worked for us.
Man I'm glad I have to put grease and oil in my hair... Because that's exactly what that looks like in her hair.
Why would u guys have carpet though ? 0:33 🤔 👀
I have naturally extreme thick dense hair. I always got lice as a kid. We tried everything we cud get our hands on. The only thing that helped was my dad bleached my hair and dyed it. Never had lice again. Wudnt recommend cuz its damaging to hair but it worked.
Holy crap, that's amazing. 😳
My daughter's school nurse told me to wash and condition her hair in Sauve.... coconut scented to PREVENT her from getting lice. Idk if that's true but she said it had to be the coconut scented.
It's the coconut that they dislike
coconut is a natural bacterial agent.
You can't prevent lice
@@suehannafin4581 you can actually.
You only prevent it by having it treated
I'm not seeing a link...
That made me head scratch but I love it 😂
I feel so bad for those kids.. But at the same time it makes my skin crawl and itch
We tried a lot of products for me when I was a child until high school... Once I started dying my hair they went away lol
This is a myth. It does not work with super lice
This literally made my head itch so bad!!
Why have You have disabled all the commenting on your other videos? I have so many questions 😢
When I was in elementary I had lice infestation too. Yikes!
I want a lice removal solution but I am in India so how I order it
Tea tree oil-Walmart-in the vitamin and mineral aisle
If u blow dry your hair a bit like in front of the door to your backyard it gets rid of some but not alot
How do you keep from getting lice when you’re treating your clients!?!?!?
I actually use my prevention products to keep lice away ♥️
Sold at Theliceangels.org
Back when I was a nurse I treated many patients for lice. The nurses sprayed our hair with hair spray and the lice seemed repelled by it. None of the nurses ever got lice from the patients and those suckered liked to jump around. Combing out the nits was a process.
My mom would put kerosene on our heads when we caught lice. She was making sure them bugs were dead. 😅
Mine too!! I lived at my stepdads and would get love so frequently that I got chemical burns on the back of my ears from the kerosene
Put coconut oil in your hair for four hours then wash it out that's how you treat lice, Blessed Be.
Wouldn't go around spreading that info. There are people that would jump to call CPS if you did that now.
Essentially, stay away from Texas. There's a reason they have 6 locations.
Kerosene works best. Make sure you use dish soap, as well.
Who’s been talking to their Gamma lol
I've basically had a minor infestation for years. It's really rough because I have to live alone and wash bedding every other day.
When I was little my mom put Vaseline all over my hair and a shower cap on overnight. Killed all the lice, they suffocated.
How can a parent let it get this bad?!
You should open a store here in Michigan.
How do you keep from bringing that home with you?
Makes me want to call my 26 yr. old daughter. When she was in school if someone said the word lice I knew she would have it. She loved to hug everyone and hanged all over people so when lice started up she always got it. I would spend hundreds of dollars treating her, house, and vehicles. Weird thing was she slept with her little brother every night and he never once got it.
My cultures solution = shave it off. So my mum always told us STAY AWAY from pidgeons or other birds we did or we would go bald to school 😂
🤔OMG😳 how does parents allow it to get this bad? as soon as I find any lice I start doing there hair daily or every other day until it's all gone!
I would love to get an email address for you. I have an "idea" or sorts. Your products are amazing, and I, personally, know a large community of people that need this!!!!
1) why do parents let their kids get this bad it’s neglect
2) You don’t need to pay 100s of £s for your fancy treatments all you need is conditioner and a bit comb
How does this happen...i mean not one or two...but ....how
Oh yeah I have this in my hair and I can’t get them out please help me
A girl at my job sprayed raid on her kids head.
I’ve always wondered what cats felt like having fleas running all over them. I would love to ask this person. It has to be hell.
I got lice as a kid. That's pretty much exactly how it feels, and mine wasnt nearly as bad as this poor kid's. That had to be miserable!
I’m a nurse. An elderly lady that was neglected came in once with lice on her head and the home was infested with bed bugs , and all kinds of bugs. They had to shave her head and medicate her every few hours. The bugs were all over the hospital room. It was horrible.
Mayo works wonders saturate with mayo and take a plastic shopping bag wrap it around your hair. A hour later wash your hair normally lice are gone
