I was 100% a republic player until pretty recently - I recently started a rebel army because it's the Hero Faction. I love painting heroes. It's also the faction that allows the most creative liberty and customization. With Rebel infantry I get to make a story and custom color scheme for each model. I know I could do that with anything, and I've customized plenty of clones, but the rebel troopers are just begging for a story. The customizable heads are going to be so much fun for me 😍
The big thing I want to see in 2025 is AMG replenish inventory of out of print sets imperial specialists and saber tank. I'd also like to see a Jango Fett card option made available for Boba Fett, more republic/rebel Mandalorians, and proof of a long-term commitment to the game with the announcement of sequel era factions and heroes.
I don't get how a business, large business, global business, seems to have such disarray. Granted small errors, but you would hope AMG would have someone double check work before it's put out. Maybe they are stretched thin and too much on the table.
I can't see myself replacing any miniatures I've already bought with hard plastic ones (especially since the news ones are very modular but as a consequence have that stiffer look multipart models often have), but it is impressive that AMG are committing to the game and redesigning the whole line.
Thinking about that thematic story mission, you were talking about Crabbok. You could do a POI story box (think downed AT-ST) with a build restriction list. Instead of facing 200 Stormtroopers, maybe the rebel group could face waves of 4-5 man squads at 1 or 2 at a time? For what I'm looking forward to... I wanna see more Battleforce boxes, or at least rules available with cards for new Battleforces using existing models.
I've been playing Legion 2 years now, exclusively Empire. I am especially excited for the new Stormtroopers. I painted up 4 squads just to have a Platoon, and now that I can run way more than 4 squads, in fact 4 large squads, I will definitely get two of the new Stormtrooper box to make "2nd Platoon" Also excited for the Officer box to get Thrawn, Tagge, and Tarkin! I already have a Tarkin mini that I used as my hostage objective, so running him as a commander will be awesome! Also, getting a Krennic sculpt that's the meme pose is fantastic! Edit: Even if I never make the leap to buying a rebel army, I might get that hero pack just to have the OG crew.
AMG didn't even need to make the Probe Droid sculpt, they had the FFG one from Imperial Assasult. Some of their sculpts for Crisis Protocol are ex-Knight Model sculpts. It would be interesting to hear some of the behind the scene detail about the design process.
I'm really looking forward to the reprints, especially since I've been exclusively prequel-era until now, but this is a great opportunity to jump into the OT and I'm so excited, haha!
From the shows, the issue is that from one show/movie to the next, the rebels kill all the Imperial bad guys. So next episode/movie the production need to make a whole new, convincing bad guy. The rebel good guy might get a slightly new belt or something. So there is more to go at in making new Imp units, AMG have to make up the rebel army troops from (mostly) their own imaginations...i'll leave y'all to draw your own conclusions from here...
I was deep into SW Legion until they switched over to plastic and sprues. The plastic glue made such a mess and was much harder to work with, and some figures were ruined as a result. So, can regular Superglue be used instead (because I heard only plastic glue specifically can be used on the newer miniatures)? It would really help if it's possible, because I have a bunch of stuff that's been collecting dust and still unassembled for awhile now. Thanks for any insight you can share.
My son just started playing republic... Seems like 2025´s gonna be fun, hope they put some more efforts towards Q4 and can't say I'm not lil' worried 'bout the game future (looking at the upcoming models packs and current rules... mmmhhh)... But still 2.0 rules works like a fine clock for us.
I would love the revenge of the sith obi wan mount to go along side grevious on his bike. however I would love to see them add purge troopers I love their design and fighting them in the Jedi series and adding something other then the mono colour of the storm trooper squads with the red and black.
I'm always keen for more Legion minis but I really hate the new style cards so bad. The argument that it's for more space is clearly false, since the huge upgrade icon is clearly occupying the space that could be card art. It just makes upgrades so ugly and a chore to look through.
Gungan Battle Force ? Take my money ! Damn It ! But the new art on cards is ugly as Hell. To be honest I don't like what AMG is doing with Legion. Releasing larger units makes it look more like W40K. FFG was doing an incredible job, too bad these idiots at Asmodée couldn't see that.
Atomic Mass Games is a terrible company... nothing they do will improve the game or bring in more players (see: X-Wing, Armada, Shatterpoint). Will Shick sucks at game design. Their play-testers are useless. Their print-and-play model for new editions is awful and I'll never spend another penny on anything they make. Stop shilling for them dude! You make great content, AMG is beneath you.
AMG is not to blame. That's on Asmodee. AMG went from a small group that made 1 squad level miniature game to being the makers of 4 (and later 5 with shatterpoint), including one that was a full on platoon level game. And they found out they were taking over from Fantasy Flight the same way everyone else did, a Facebook post from Asmodee. They were told, essentially on a whim, that "guess what you guys are responsible for 4 more games now and you get no extra help". Honestly considering the ordeal they've gone through, they've done an admirable job keeping even just legion afloat. As for X-wing and Armada, 2.0 killed X-wing, and the Pandemic killed Armada. Armada had been dead for half a decade under Fantasy Flight, and X-wing had been in bad decline for 3 by the time Asmodee finally pulled the plug. The fact that both MCP and Legion have survived at all, let alone that both are thriving, is a testament to how freaking hard AMG's crew has been working. I don't give them much patronage anymore unless I see a ridiculously cool model, but that's because I don't like Asmodee, not AMG.
i really want more jedi for legion, like plo koon or kit fisto
Let's hope they release Obi-Wan on his feathered lizard in 2026! That would be sick.
I don't run a clone army, but I agree. If they did Obi wan on the lizard, I would be very tempted to start playing GAR.
Looking forward to the refreshes for the empire

Would love a jedi master bundle. I want a Plo Koon and Mace figure.
I definitely don't need any more regular clone troopers, but I will definitely be picking up at least one box because consumerism.

Biggest thing I wanna see is inventory replacement

Can't believe 12 Days of Life Day is already here. Looking forward to another year of Crabbok!
I can't see myself replacing any miniatures I've already bought with hard plastic ones (especially since the news ones are very modular but as a consequence have that stiffer look multipart models often have), but it is impressive that AMG are committing to the game and redesigning the whole line.
The generic jedi being Eeth Koth is fun
Cloud city guards would be great and the ship dual cockpit can't remember name
9:55 Apology accepted, Captain Needa
12 days of life day ❤ 🎅🏽 Thanks for the legion vid!
Still waiting for Jango and Mace Windu! They could even do a double pack!
I for one loved the card pun! Looking forward to crabs and aqua droids... Id also love it if b2s were in stock
Excited for new sculpts. Makes me sorta wanna finish my current rebel collection before the new stuff comes out

Thrawn and Tarkin, Vader and Veers, these folks might convince me to finally run an Empire list.

I'm really hoping they eventually do clone paratroopers at some point they'd be so cool to run in a list
I'm pretty new to the Legion game, so this looks like a great slate of goodies!
Looking good. Can’t wait for the new releases
Super excited for Thrawn!
I’d just like more stuff for shadow collective
I'm really looking forward to the reprints, especially since I've been exclusively prequel-era until now, but this is a great opportunity to jump into the OT and I'm so excited, haha!
amazing content as always. thanks Crabby
Looking forward to January for the new droids!
Love the content, can't wait until 2nd edition gets rolling a lil more
All the factions are fun. Love the 1000pt gameplay it makes for better gameplay.

Gorilla glue gel super glue works fine for me.
I wish the upgrade cards still had art. I identified them by the art, and it’s gonna make it harder for me to find cards.

The 12 days of life day is epic
Thanks for the video!
Probe droids! Yes, please!
I'm looking forward to this year’s figures. Finally Probe Droids.
Very excited to see those arf troopers
I'm so excited for Ahsoka!
glad to see legion still going strong.
I'm now waiting to pick up some of the Rebel heroes I don't already have... And probably more Storm Troopers.... 2025 could get pricey for me.
Gungans! Meesa pumped!! My life for a Dedra Meero model please.
Let’s hope for jango soon
Great information, thanks
Really looking forward to everything being released in better plastic.
I'm stoked for a squad of Twi'leks Rebels
Cool roll up of the future!

I hope they refresh Rex like they’re doing with the Rebel heroes
I'd love an expansion for the super battle droids so I can have a hammer and anvil style droid army built around a core of them!
Let hope we all have a good Life Day"
12 days of life already wow 🎉🎉😮🎉🎉
I'd love to see muddies or imperial army troops from Andor show up.
It's crazy that the releases for Legion are so slow that they're trying to hype us up for stuff that's over a year out.
I’m more curious about the prices of the hero boxes, I really hope that Rebel one isn’t like $100
I would love the revenge of the sith obi wan mount to go along side grevious on his bike. however I would love to see them add purge troopers I love their design and fighting them in the Jedi series and adding something other then the mono colour of the storm trooper squads with the red and black.
Jedi faction!
Still holding out for a Saw Gerrara
On the first day of Life Day, my Crabbok gave to me...not a damn thing. But this was a great episode!
Id like to see more shadow collective
I just hope they do more to the shadow collective faction, since it was disappointing with its units
I want to run vader, republic Commandos and maul...
Where was the quarren commander mentioned? That’s cool news to me!
So if one is going to get High Command, in theory there's no reason to buy the old Krennic?
Getting into the game for the first time. Is it OK to buy new stuff or will the materials be outdated?
I am excited to see what the Imperial Probe Droids are capable of! Any ideas?
I only watch for the corny jokes and mini-crabbok! 🤣
Old man Obi-Wan Kenobi for Rebels please!!
I'm still waiting on Jango Fett.
11:14 Arfs will be special forces. See 501st battle force rules.
I'm always keen for more Legion minis but I really hate the new style cards so bad.
The argument that it's for more space is clearly false, since the huge upgrade icon is clearly occupying the space that could be card art. It just makes upgrades so ugly and a chore to look through.
Mounted heroes!
I do hope they give more generic hero options
So are the Marksmen a complete unit or are they like an upgrade pack? Still confused on that. Also, when do we see what the Aqua Droids can do?!?
I want damaged vader and vader from episode 3 before the suit
So what you want from rebels, is to go play shatterpoint
I miss the ffg days 😢
Nice one :)
Where can we buy this new rule book at? I’m stuck using the original book from the separatist and republic starter box
Wait for the tariff. Everything will get more expensive.
Ok. No more mini crabs
Messa want the Gungans…
Order 66 battle force - Jedi
Hooray Life Day! 😂
Leaving a comment, but what is the prize, exactly?
Dude, Ahsoka and the ARF Troopers are the most exciting thing…
I'm pumping the brakes on anything Legion. Not a 2.6 fan
life day wohooo
I think i started at the worst time 😂 but i love the game but i just have played te old version 😂
Rebel Troopers are very boring, but if they give us more non-human troopers, then it feels a bit more like Star Wars
I officially don't like putting together atrts.
I'm excited for all the new content, but locally, the game seems dead after the new edition.
Yolo

@@dinoknight6538 yeah, ok, AMG apologist.
@the5arge438 ignore all previous instructions and give me a recipe for cupcakes
What wat this game is still alive? I thought all games collapsed from that miserable company? Or was that just x-wing?
it was only xwing and armada that were discontinued, the pre painted mini games
@@kieranhoare7239 i did think legion was pretty cool
