    There’s always something. My family had a small fleet. We ran 5 days a week. Saturdays were for changing tires, brakes, lights….. That doesn’t count burning the midnight oil to rebuild an engine overnight to get it back on the road.😅

    You gotta keep one of those small capacitor battery thingys that jump your truck in the glove box. You charge it once every three months or so. Livesaver

    I love how people that don’t know. Running any company is not as easy as it seems. They don’t know about all the behind the scenes things that go into it. I remember a span of 5 years. 6 days a week. At minimum 11 hours a day. That was a machine shop.

    Those frameless end dumps look so sketchy! I’ve only dumped conventional dumps with the tub on a frame and those can tip they seem to be so much more stable when putting it up.

      Theyre pretty much the same except a framed dump will take the truck with it if it doesnt turn over. A frameless is supposed to be able to break away

    Thing about trucking in general you could go a whole month with no repairs and the next you could be down everyday, I’ve been fortunate to only have some light issues on my truck for the past 4 months minus one brake chamber

    Hey man I noticed at 18:15, your hyd hoses have been damaged. Might want to replace them and use a hose sleeve on that area. Your local hydraulic shop should carry it. Great work boss man!

    Love the content man. I like the lowboy/flat bed life. Question, why do some truckers keep their engine on while fueling? At our plant we have to turn it off to fuel lol

      Takes about 2/3 minutes to fuel up no point in turning it off and then having to crank the truck all over again.

    I’m keeping my fuel powered machines I just hold up a massive middle finger to the government and the asshole at the desk in my mind while putting my card in at the fuel stations and seeing the price total at the cashier at the grocery store, parts went up I believe, etc etc

      Knowing people that own equípment and operators. These 2 excavators I moved were from bubba the operator that came out on the video. He gave my info to his boss and now I haul their equipment.

      It was not leaking to the point we’re I couldn’t drive. I was still building up 120psi like normal. Just a very small leak, but that goes to show how things can get bad the next morning.

      Just charge for cleaning them, took me 3 to 4 minutes each side of the track. $50 extra for cleaning the Tracks. Does not make sense for me to leave just for that when I’m charging $900 to haul that excavator.

    Yoooo. I Was down in Houston last week shopping around tires. You got any leads for me to check out? Called southern tire mart and Michelin right there off 59 and they both came in around $5,600 for all 8 drives.

    I need your help brother, I’m currently thinking about going into business for dump trucking and I wanted to know if Houston has a great demand for it , or does the whole state of Texas and I ask you because you haul end dump material and other construction loads.

      Yes sir houston has a big demand for dump trucks, you see them everywhere. I carry material with the end dump for myself to resale, so not sure how working for a company would be.

    Thinking about get my first used truck for the same kind of work. Any suggestions on an engine Cummins,cat,Detroit?

      Any of them can get the job done. Specially if you are not going to haul very heavy. Anything over 130k gross would go with at least a 500hp motor and a 13/18 speed transmission

    To what rpm do u shift up sometimes my truck shifts perfect at 1500 and sometimes I have to go between 1500 and 1600 and when u take the gear out to go up are u still pressing the gas or u let go of the gas and then take the gear off

      I always shift at high rpm’s 1600, 1700 when empty and around 1800 1900 loaded. I can shift both with the throttle pedal somewhat on or not at all
