Honestly. One piece needs one with cac, Eather soon or at the end of the series And naruto/boruto could easily be turned into a xenoverse game with that turtle time thingy from the fillers
One thing I'll always respect the OPM game for is that you can _change the position_ of things on your character AND they are colorable and can use multiple of. Definitely need more of that.
I’m telling you guys give Naruto one piece and bleach their own games similar to xenoverse but make them open world story and online modes and they are never going broke
I was reading the comments and i think this video is about "existing anime" games with character creator, and by "existing anime" I mean "Anime shows". Yes Code Vein has one of the best character creators and it is an "anime game" but technically it doesn't have an "anime show", and what he's showing here are games that are based on "anime shows" that has character creators.
Yup. If the video is about "anime-styled" games' character creator, it'll be another whole can of worms. Aside from Code Vein, pick any anime-styled MMO that allows you to create your own character. For example, PSO2 far outstrips Code Vein in terms of character creation due to how in-depth it is with the sliders, clothing, and accessories, allowing you to create the worst monstrosity or eldritch abomination possible.
I wouldn't be surprised if MHA gets a Game in the future where we create our own MHA OC choosing a side between being a Hero or Villain like DC universe online and Heck I wouldn't be surprised if they had DLC packs like Quirks/Superpowers or a story expansion but it's crazy how XenoVerse 2 is still getting dlc till this day for more than 5 years now also does street fighter 6 count since it's also Anime??? Yeah my issue with a lot of these is that a lot of them focus on letting you cosplay only. Like Shinobi Striker. All the hairstyles available really feel like wigs you pick depending on which character you really like. At least Xenoverse tries adding some custom stuff. In Shinobi Striker all you can do is choose between, for example, Adult Sasuke hair or Gaara hair. Then the armor is more or less the same. Xenoverse also tries at the bare minimum here. You get clothes which let you differentiate yourself more from the already established characters (not gonna lie mods also help a lot if you play solo for the most part). Heck in Shinobi Strikers it's pretty lazy imo. Lorewise the default armor should be the New Generations village armor. Instead you get the classic armors as default options which is fine cuz their classic for a reason. But for world consistency if you make a Leaf Village character you should start out with the New Generations Leaf armor. This will sound cringe, but when it comes to character creators in these games I wanna make my own character living in this fantastical world. I don't wanna cosplay. At least that's my personal preference. And yeah it comes off as lazy cuz really, like you said, in Shinobi Strikers they do what they did with the hairs to reuse assets. Which is smart but lame.
I never thought I would find someone who has the same idea as me. Like literally the same thing. I know shinobi striker barely has original stuff, and most are things from characters that already exist. Shinobi Striker only has 2 original hairstyle, and they look a but ugly (Slick Back, and Bun) and they are event limited which makes it worse. In Shinobi Striker I try to wear clothes that are original with SS rarity or something that has a new 3D model instead of a recolor of those clothes. To be honest, I like using one type of outfit that is SS, it is original and also makes a few changes to hairstyles so it looks like a new original hair, like the Red magician robes, which are supposed to be a recolor of Kabuto's robes, but they have a different model, si it feels kinda original. Ir the Mist Striker outfit, which also changes the hairstyle a bit to have modified versions. But yeah, I'd prefer new completely original hairstyles, and new jutsus that no cast character has. It's one thing I do in Xenoverse, I try to play with original hairstyles, and original clothes (only a few are original, most of them are the recolorable outfits) and try to use the generic moves like Full Power Energy Blast Volley so I can feel like I'm my own character instead of an imitation.
I've felt the exact same way since the first Xenoverse lol like it's cool learning other people's moves like on "Sonic Battle" but I mostly want unique outfits and hairstyles and attacks so that my character feels like their own unique person. Also do yall play xenoverse 2 or shinobi strikers on cbox? If so we should play together sometime lol
Theres tons of stuff you can wear without looking like a cosplayer. And nice keeping that energy when the character creator literally is littered with the characters outfits well lol, Metamoran fusion top being one of the most seen tops imo and Goku hair. Its almost like using the clothes of numerous characters and then mixing and matching them is the point.
DB: Xenoveres series, AOT2, and SAO Fatal Bullet are my favorite anime games because players can be involved with their own characters and become parts of their favorite animes. I hope the character creation of the DB: Xenoverse series becomes like AOT2 or SAO: Fatal Bullet.
if you want to do another video like this but with games that have anime-like graphics i suggest "code vein", i'm not an expert but to me the character creation was really detailed
The only thing I wish they put more detail is the clothing. I've made my character their own distinct hairstyle but the selection of clothing just made them look generic :(
Honestly, I think my first exposure to character creators being Soul Calibur kinda spoiled me. Not only is the actual creator really detailed, but you can create tons of characters. SC6 has 100 slots for CaCs, meanwhile Xenoverse 2 gives ya 8. The lack of move set customization and the lack of hand-to-hand options (aside from Devil Jin in 5) keep me from considering Soul Calibur to have the best character creator, but it’s still something I wish more games would take inspiration from.
Sometimes, I feel as though these games don't actually want you to create a character. Rather, some of them seem like they were meant to have their own original character be a protagonist that just so happens to be able to modify their appearance. I mean, it almost feels that way with how some of them have such harsh limits, when compared to what we see from many other games in terms of character creation.
Im kinda shocked that Phantasy Star Online 2's character creator is not in this video. Its THE anime game You can make a pretty/cool, goofy af, really really fat characters, monsters, vehicles (bikes, cars, jets etc), nightmare creatures, or you can recreate any anime characters you can think off at 90% accuracy The game even have Minecraft mode, you can make anything for background screenshots. I'll always be amazed when people replicate scale accurate Gundams and many mechs, buildings/castles, a whole towns from bunch of anime
They need to make anime character creators on the level of Black desert then nobody would ever complain 😂. Also I find it insane that no developers have attempted to make a online open world shonen game where you can make a character and travel the world/dimensions/planets of respected anime and go around fighting other players, creating your own skills, level up and stuff like that, the closest we have to that are roblox games, if they literally made a AAA version of what roblox anime games already do people would play that for eternity. For those aware of what rell seas is and although the game isn’t out yet just imagine a AAA rell seas, that would literally be the greatest one piece game to touch existence no exaggeration. Or even a bleach game where you can pick a race when you start and if you pick hollow you start off as a normal weak hollow but can eat other hollows and races to level up and slowly evolve and I imagine that you can customise what type of hollow you are, so like if your humanoid or insect looking or animalistic or all 3 put together, or full on just pull a spore and let you truly go into detail of how your hollow moves fights and looks, maybe that’s a bit too much but a brother can dream🥲
We are not going to complain about having the option to use the same unique hairstyles from the franchise's universe. The fact shinobi striker has that for the character creator allows you to make a character that looks like they belong in the verse, or even create characters from the universe . As well as the fact Shinobi striker does have unique hairstyles.
