How to Remove 2007-14 Ford Expedition Side Mirror

In this video, I remove the side wing mirror from our 2007 Ford Expedition. This is a very simple procedure that took me less than 15 minutes, and it should be just as easy for you. This procedure will work for any 2007-2014 Expedition, and will be quite similar for any 2015-2017 Expedition.
Tool needed:
3/8 ratchet
1/4 ratchet
3/8 extension
3/8 drive 11mm deep socket
1/4 drive 6mm socket
1/4 drive 7mm socket
Phillips screwdriver
Flathead screwdriver
Pushpin prybar

Seriously, thank you for posting this. There is a great shortage of videos on this topic for this range of vehicles. I crunched my drivers side mirror over a year ago, and I've been procrastinating replacing it. Finally ordered the part, and now I will be able to replace it without groping in the metaphorical darkness. But again... why metric bolts from Ford???

Get video. Hardest part was aligning the lock-pull while reinstalling the door panel. Also, the bottom screws were 7mm on my 2013

Hey Brian, ¿Can you show or tell please, how to replace the turn signal light in the mirror, I just broked it a little bit, because they say you have to pull it out gently from the mirror side, but it doesn't come off easily without braking it, Thank you

Should be a warning not to lose nuts down door jam, now I have to into hardware store without a mirror to get replacement bolts because they fell down the door sidewall…
