I think if you put the X Y axis in the bottom left corner, and just had one character on top (say Robin) and the other character all the way on the right (HMC), you could then place the characters anywhere in the field based on how impacted by each character they are. The only value in the negative space in the bottom left would be to put characters that weren't impacted, or aren't viable. But you just left them off the grid anyway, so it didn't really matter. As far as the info itself, I actually think Ratio and Topaz gained more from HMC than it seemed like they should have. Ratio doesn't mind the super breaks, but really Topaz getting Numby cycled via the team follow-ups leads to a lot of decent super break chunks. There was also an MoC floor with Fire AND Imaginary weakness (I don't remember which one off hand) but I used those 3 together and it worked well. Not saying it should be meta or anything, but it wasn't bad at all. That said, good video! I like the idea of the format.
I like the concept of the format. I think the axis could be arranged better like X-Axis (How much 2.2 helped them): Kek to Stonks. Y-Axis (feature axis): FUA to Break
Silver wolf should be higher. She can implant weakness to help break toughness, has def down which makes breaks stronger, and most SW only build BE for dmg (instead of crit).
I spent a good month pre-farming the pioneer set domain, so I have much of the new break effect set. It worked out well, and now my Harmony MC is pretty nasty.
As a F2P, I was a bit underwhelmed by Robin’s performance(Dr. Ratio & Topaz owner). I still can’t believe how good Ruan mei is. she’s even getting better with each update.
As a low spender I'm in the same spot. I got her on accident, and built her out, slapped her on my topaz, aventurine and ratio team... Yeah super underwhelmed. Shes ok I guess, maybe 15% better than Tingyun who she replaced. Losing that Ruan Mei 50/50 will haunt me for so long...
@@KakavashaForever i lost my 50 50 to her as well and just lost my 50 50 for robin to a now e1 bronya which was a blessing in disguise cuz i saw in leaks that ruan mei will be rerunning in 2.3 so im saving my guranthee for her so just a heads up if u want her
If your Robin is only a little better than Tingyun in RAT with Aventurine you're doing something very wrong. Possibly your Topaz is underbuilt and not taking full advantage of the teamwide buff? Or you're misusing/undervaluing the team advance.
please do a Firefly vs Boothill in term of value and longevity for the brake team. Who will be the main ingredient of the brake team like a Kafka for DOT and a Topaz for FUA team.
Neither, they’re both DPS. The Kafka of break is Harmony Trailblazer. HTB enables break teams with super break just like how Kafka enables DoT by triggering them early, Boothill and Firefly are more like Black Swan, they’re made to fit into the team as the “DPS” and increase the damage output of the team compared to a 4 star but they can be easily power crept or replaced like any DPS.
I don't quite get how Robin affected Ruan Mei negatively. I though break teams were trying to hog Ruan Mei so Robin relieved that pressure by being an amazing substitute and Ruan Mei can go to her well synergized break teams
Both are good, and both are universal. Robin affected Ruan Mei in terms of having a competition and performing her niche. Before, we only had 1 limited universal buffer, but now there is 2. View it like this, you can only pull for one you will be conflicted and pick the niche better suited for you, do you want break efficiency or a buffer for FUA. Again, both are good but having 2 highlighted their niche.
I don't get it either, they obviously have their own niche in the game and both of their niches are really viable too. So I really can't understand why people are dunking on Ruan Mei, they can both exist and be the best within a style of game play.
I have the FUA team, Topaz, Ratio, Aventurine and didn't get Robin because I believe Ruan Mei is just as good as Robin in this team. They have different benefits, but I didn't feel like pulling for Robin, LC, and grind more speed relics for all my chars, just to clear 1 cycle faster.
Same here felt like doing this MOC without Robin with that FUA team was the deciding factor for me in whether I would skip Robin and now I can just save for next patch with Firefly.
She's not just as good on fua, but that's just being pedantic. Point is you're cooking MoC already and happy with your set up rn right? Then you're Gucci. Plus if you ever have a reason to want robin in the future, you have the event LC that's tailor-made for her anyway. Just keep cooking with rm, especially since im assuming your other team doesn't need rm (like acheron for example)
This is the way. If you're already clearing everything just save until you can't clear anymore/start investing in eidolons for the teams you already have. I dont use FuA but my dot and acheron teams are clearing everything just fine even with element mismatches
To be fair JYs LL is amazing with HMC bc super break scales with toughness dmg and JYs LL toughness depletion is one of its best parts. Making a fast JY with this team is the best part imo maybe with ERR rope too
Hey I love the content as always, but I think the formatting would be a little less awkward if the character lists were offscreen so there would be a lot more room for the actual graph
18:07 I lost my 50/50 to E1 Himeko (but still had enough saved to get the guaranteed Robin) and also got her signature light cone after just 10 pulls on Topaz’s lc banner. and then I got the signature just 20 pulls after that. so this is the game’s way of telling me to invest more into my Himeko and use her with Robin to absolutely dominate Fire-weak stages in Pure Fiction. I’m still going to build Ratio and use the IPC FUA team, but it’s nice to have AoE options that can slot in. Aventurine already has that covered along with sustain, and with Jade coming as a rumored FUA support/sub DPS like Topaz but AoE focused, it seems like an alternative version of the IPC FUA team of Aventurine/Robin/Jade/Himeko will come about for AoE scenarios. at least until we get our first dedicated AoE FUA main DPS (JY doesn’t really count) that will inevitably powercreep Himeko.
Good video but I think you left out a bit of your own point from the Robin video. The frequency/fast attackers really benefit from both because they get more attacks in under either Robin ultimate or Harmony MC breaks. Follow-up attacks are just a specific form of more frequent attacks.
Maybe this is a bad/stupid idea. But since you are already experimenting with this new format, maybe the same can be done for Light Cones? Obvious example: Indelible Promise is a Light Cone that many people definitly should want and go for, because of the release of Harmony Trailblazer. And maybe there are other LC's that are in a similiar position? You might want to make a poll, whether the people are interested in this. Another thing that I find odd/interesting, is the fact that Fire MC has gone down in value. And this is strange/odd because we (as a community) were of the opinion that with Acheron his relevance has risen. It might now be the case that people are looking for ways to substitute the Fire-MC with other characters. And that might be another topic, which walks in the footsteps of your recent Ruan Mei video: What are the alternatives for Fire-MC now that we have the Harmony MC?
I think Boothill is changing a lot the meta, because he can silver wolf his element, And i think that will play a key role in the meta, since as well, You would not bealive your eyes...

I think you should go for Topaz. You already have other FUA units and Topaz works really well with them. Robin is flexable enough that she can be used to substitute Ruan Mei, but of course, Ruan Mei is very good unit too.
I’m vouching for Topaz if you like to use Aventurine. He needs team mates that do frequent FUA (or enemies that hit the whole team all the time) so he can do his own FUA, replenish shields, and ult for the crit damage debuff on enemies. If you feel like your Aventurine should do more FUAs to better sustain, deal damage, or maintain debuff uptime then another FUA character might be good. Topaz can implant her own debuffs as well to make FUAs more effective, esp with her lightcone iirc. Check out her kit and how much you’re willing to spend to gauge if she’s worth it. People have different opinions on what eidolons and lightcones she needs to be good. I personally have E0S1 and it’s been pretty fun so far.
