The Ballenberg Swiss open-air museum in the Bernese Oberland takes its visitors on a journey through time through Swiss history. The extensive grounds with over 100 historical buildings from different regions of Switzerland extend into a picturesque landscape. Farmhouses, alpine huts, workshops, and chapels provide an insight into life in times gone by and revive traditions.
