Splendid video! Really enjoyed the background music, while listening to your soft narration. Not to mention, I loved seeing all the historical things, beautiful flowers and peaceful animals! Oh' by the way, we call them scarecrows (Vogelscheuche) here in the States. Thanks for sharing your walking tour through the museum. 🙏🏼🇨🇭💚
Another thank you, again, Sylvia!!! We visited Ballenberg in October 2018 and loved it. You definitely need multiple days to visit the entire park. We have many fun photos of the animals and homes. One thing that totally surprised us were Swiss Air Force planes doing touch and go at a nearby airfield. No one seemed surprised (because they were all Swiss)! ❤️🇨🇭
What a great video, Sylvia. It was so interesting to go through that house and see how ,in the past, the Swiss people lived. I also thoroughly enjoyed seeing all of the animals. Those first two chickens you came across that had the little chick with them, was the most beautiful color. I have never seen that color on a chicken before.❤
Thankyou Sylvia for another interesting video . I loved seeing the old houses from the past and seeing how people lived then . In England we call those straw roofs ‘ thatch ‘ roofs . The figures to frighten away the birds , we call them Scarecrows . It was all very interesting , Thankyou again . X
This place is amazing. I had the luck of visiting it 2 weeks ago and is amazing how perfectly the house are assembled again after being moved from all over switzerland to Brienz. Thank you so much for showing., I have the best remembers of my life in Brienz. I met so many great people ;-) Thank you Sylvia
I love Ballenberg and have visited on most of our holidays in the area. We have had many happy picnics there and I like to imagine which house I would love to live in. One with a lovely cosy box bed I think! I would have been happy in earlier times, I grow vegetables, make bread and preserves and do handicrafts so I think I could cope happily with living there!
Here i am ,dear Sylvia 😊. I simply love this museum. I love to see these old objects. I still have a few plates like that. They belongged to one of my grandmothers. And that toilet..😂 i have a similar story with one: i was born in Angola. The first time i came here to Portugal with my parents on hollidays ,i was six years old. We went to a village to visit some cousins and i asked permission to go to the toilet. One of my cousins took me to a balcony where they had a hole like that. But when i looked at it i lost all the need to pee... 😳 because in my child imagination i was affraid that might be a monster inside that dark hole, that was going to pull me down...🤣 So i waited until we went to my grandparents home where they had a "normal " toilet. Thank you again dear Sylvia. You made me laugh with these memories ,besides all the beauty and history of that place. And the animals, of course. 🤗😘
I would be happier if I had been able to see cats.😅I love cats. Every animal there was adorable anyway. I love to let my thoughts go to the good old times. Yeah, this is a good enjoyable museum! By the way, Happy Birthday, Switzerland!🎉❤🇨🇭
@@SylviaMichelPhotography again, thanks so much for your channel, I lived in Meiringen for 2 summers and you are bringing back many fond memories of my time in the Berner Oberland.
