Okay, I can see this evolving into longer lines to keep the wing in good airflow, maybe add a bar to control it and a harness you can hook into and ....wait a minute...
Please don’t ruin this beautiful sport by adding lines. Don’t even think adding 20m lines , it would be very dangerous and impossible to control. And it would look so lame too!

Those wings look tiny! There must be quite a breeze there.
This is a step back and it`s complicating things. The simpleness of winging is gone with the lines, also gone is the direct handling compared to handle bars or a boom. How to Freestyle with those lines? Not possible
As hydrofoils evolve our need for wind input goes way down. All this becomes more relevant for riding the water energy. Love it!

So for me, the leash line tecnique is really relevant riding toeside (backside to the wing) to fly the front of the wing off of to extend my back arm into a more comfortable position. I see though that they're not using their leash for this anymore, they have another dedicated line (i guess they must have lost a wing or two messing around flying off the leash😂)

I would like to see them handling these wings in typical gusty Dutch coast North Sea wind - the wind even shifts with each gust
