What an impressive message and speech Fr. Bakas, I came across this video now. I love it as we always enjoy your Sundays Sermons too. As a church member for decades, I would not be proud more of the St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral beauty and your blessing in the communion. Thank you and may God bless you and all members.
Three and a half divinely inspired minutes. A lovely invitation. I hope many take the time and make the effort to investigate and more fully understand the many valuable points contained in your video. May God Bless you and St Sophia Cathedral.
This borders on heresy!! "It pleased the Father to bruise the son" because Jesus being the fulfillment of the law and the prophets, was the atoning sacrificial Lamb of God. "He who knew no sin became sin for us." This is us being saved from the "wrath" of God. "It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the Living God." "what if there were another way!?"

Glory to God!
Hallelujah!
Love the "lamentation of the fall of Constantinople". Truly one of the most beautiful pieces of byzantine chant. Glory to Jesus Christ, Glory Forever!
Amen!
I love to be ORTODOX
