This video features our little 1972 Piaggio Ciao Super Confort. The Ciao was super popular in Italy and is still a classic icon of a retro moped design. The success of the Ciao was due to its simplicity, reliability and 'young' styling.

Nice video. What that that lever you called valve lifter does hence its a 2 stroke engine?

It has a specific type of valve in the cylinder head which opens and leaves the compression get out, in order to switch off.

Hello, Interesting video.
I have a question that I have been looking for an answer to but haven't found yet. How does it work with the two gears that this model has? I know there is a gear mechanism in the hub of the rear wheel, but how do you change these gears? Do you change from first to second gear, on the handlebar together with the clutch lever - or how does it work?

Is in very bad condition
So many parts need to be replaced, i'm not an expert but i know (quite good) this specific ciao moped ecc
For example the pedals are not ours, top new, the carter Is broken the rear light Is not this,
My consideration Is very expensive to replace everything in the same Place
