This is great!!! We were very lucky to see Orphaned Land here in Phila a long time ago! Helluva show!!! Now if you only listed all the bands typed.. but we managed to translate most of the art work.
I really enjoyed getting to know the types of music for each band in this video. I didn't like them all obviously, but I really enjoyed the experience of listening to world folk metal. congratulations on this great job
Oh man, I am going to have an absolute field day with this! Already added Flametal and Sitar Metal to my Spotify, can't wait to listen to more of the full songs. Thank you so much for this!
Mexico has at least two styles of folk metal. The Aztec/Mayan with bands like Cemican, Yaotl Mictlan, Camaxtli Yoxippa, Kalaveraztekah, Miquian, Aztlán, etc, and the Mariachi metal with... well, also Aztlán (some songs), DelDesierto (some songs) and Metalachi. Diablo Swing Orchestra also has some mariachi-influenced songs (even if they're from Switzerland).
You forgot estonian folk metal. Few bands who do it: Metsatöll, Külmking, Tharapita and Sõjaruun (though i think Sõjaruun is definetly more pagan black metal than folk).
I need to find the fine line between including everyone while not putting in 200 countries and a 3 hour video. For example, i have “Baltic”, “Balkan” and “Scandinavian” instead of breaking each region down too much.

@@the.dungeon.crawler There are plenty of good Italian bands, but i didnt include them because most of them play a North Italian Celtic style, not too stylistically different from Eluveitie. Tersivel's Tarantella Siciliana has a more uniquely Italian sound. Additionally, the "Scottish" band is also from Argentina, but they play Scottish folk music.
I'm aware of that, so I suggested two bands that play "real" central Italian folk music (Draugr in particular), if you want listen to songs like "suovetaurilia", "get sacrum" or "l'augure e il lupo" (but I really recommend listening to the whole "de ferro italico" album.
