I live here in St. Augustine and I Love this City! The people here are so kind and the City is Beautiful!!!!!!
I grew up in neighboring Green Cove Springs, Florida which is 45 minutes inland. I moved out to St Augustine in 2005 and had the best time of my life in that amazing city. I'm in Kansas City now, in my mid 30's and life slowed down tremendously. I think of St Auggie all of the time. And someday I'll return there. This truly is the safest city I've ever experienced in my life. I have lived all across Europe and many other cities throughout the journey of my life. And nothing compares to the experiences and friendships I held there. I miss it so much!
I didn't appreciate it when I had it though... I didn't realize how lucky I was to be from there. I was always dreaming of bigger & better cities and countries. To anyone out there, from St Aug, and the 904 in general, please appreciate what you have. Because you have no idea how raw it is in other areas.
You wrote beautiful things about the town. Wishing you good luck and returning back home!
I grew up in St Augustine. I always came back. It's different now
I live in FL, and St. Augustine is a go-to for weekend getaways. Always a beautiful and pleasant place. There is something magical about it.
The only thing magical are the demographics.
which demographics?@@Profile.4
My Hometown!! Oldest City in the United States
I lived in St Augustine when I was little. I love St Augustine so much that we’re moving there!!!!!
Proud to be a descendant of Spaniards, greetings from Peru 🇵🇪
Why they raped and raided the natives and stole all your gold

The coward took his comment off. This is how you fight ignorance with truth. Just the way many are doing in many social media platforms.
I have distant Spanish about 4 generations back. Some were Conquistadors as well.
I was fortunate enough to visit St. Augustine for a few days during Spring Break in 2022, and I don't think I have ever had a more enjoyable experience.
i’m going for christmas for the first time even though i’ve lived here in florida for 10 years 🤣 i’m super excited
It's chill you can also go see for yourself that Columbus didn't discover shit first
You’ll love nights of lights during Christmas time
Night life is amazing around this time of year.

We are from Canada for almost 20 years we went to St. Augustine every January getting away from the snow, we love this city with so much history from Spanish people that lived there long ago, El Castillo de San Marcos still there and the Spanish street of St. George, wonderful city lovely memories, thank you for the video.
After living in Florida for 30 years, I finally visited this city. It was awesome. Very peaceful. We did spend a day looking at the old renovated homes which I suggest. It was a very fun busy long weekend. Lots to see or great to relax.
One of the most beautiful cities in the USA!
I grew up in Orange Park Florida but now I live in San Antonio Texas but coming for a week next month to visit and see some old friends.
So wish I could move to St. Augustine but I’m happy with living in Savannah GA
I am seriously considering moving here I want such a peaceful and happy life for me and my kids and this place seems so perfect
You could also consider Jacksonville. Some nice areas there too

i love it here so much history
Wonderful city, when I was there as a tourist I felt so proud as a spaniard and so happy being in that wonderdul country with extraordinary people that is USA. Saint Augustin is a historical jewel.
Live and work in St.

OMG I’VE BEEN THERE BEFORE WITH MY FAM LIKE 3 YEARS AGO
I love St.Augustine, and just Florida in general. St.Augustine is an amazing place, believe it or not but the people are pretty patient in traffic 🤯 shocking I know but that is just how it was for me when I went there it was calm and peaceful and I am thinking about going to their college! Have a nice day y’all 🏖️☀️
Beautiful..remembered my HAVANA....😍LOOK SO MUCH LIKE CUBA.
Live in central Florida and planning a two day trip to St.Augustine...this really helped!
Of Spanish decent from NM when this place was founded my paternal ancestors were still in Spain
Went on the trolley when my sister and brother in law were there. Beautiful city. Shopping was fun.
I went there from NYC this past weekend on my stay in Jacksonville & I recommend it. The ambiance and food scene offers high-quality choices in seafood, Spanish, French and American restaurants and if you’re looking for sweets or a bar, this city delivers.
Here right now with my wife and 3 yr old son. Beautiful city, we've only seen it at night so far.. can't wait to see it during the day.
21 years since I got here I love ❤ 😍 💖
Great video, you nailed it!!
My 15th Great Grandparents were the first to be married there in 1596. They founded the Solana Family.

The town where I was born!

Pretty cool. Thanks
Great sharing! I was there last week.. it was beautiful.
Been learning about this city in school
What a beautiful place…
Would really love to visit one day. I'm truly awed at historical sites and love to touch the structures of old. There's an eerie yet romantic sentiment from "connecting" with the past.
It a really unique feeling to it, different than any place I have ever been.
I totally agree I felt that essence when I visited New Orleans for the first time. I've always driven through it but fir once I stopped and took it all in
So wonderful to watch your video just two days after I (finally) visited it myself! It is the first place I have been to that you have featured in your videos. For once I could say "Yep, I know just where that is and what it was like". Excellent video as always!
Thanks for the video 👏👏 Love the info and the edition too
Saint Augustine is Beautiful
Lovely city, great video! Thanks;)
i have to do a presentation about this city so thanks
Awesome video. You managed to illustrate the charm and essence of the area. I've seen other videos that are cheesy in comparison to yours. I've had my eyes on this place for a few years now as a retirement destination, can't wait!
I can promise you that you don't want to retire here. Surrounding area like Palm Coast maybe, then visit.
You know how to eat. Your food always looks fantastic. That's the way I eat when I go away.
Excellent video. Thank you so much for providing us with so nice content!
Beautiful city ❤️

Love the city, they kept it beautiful all these years, unlike many other places you’d find in America, and a beautiful walkable downtown
Me and my husband got drunk and late at night snuck down to the alligator moat and we're running around with our Chihuahua. Best vacation ever!
One of the cities I always I always wanted to visit. Great video.
Come on down! As a resident, I highly recommend that you visit. Let me know if you want suggestions.

I have to say Sir your video is well edited and professional. I appreciate a content provider who does not feel he needs to wear sunglasses to speak while filming himself on camera...You earned my JOIN to your channel!!!

Great video!
If the day ever comes when I am a tourist in St. Augustine Florida it will be during wintertime. I hope they have a train 🚉 station nearby. I probably will be there no longer than a week at most. I prefer my rain ☔ and snowy ☃ climate 😊.
Born and raised in St. Augustine and yeah it's alright I like it well enough but everyone in the comments talking about how nice it is has got me appreciating it haha
If only people there would learn to drive, saw 3-5 wrecks a day
What's the weather like?
I was raised in Jacksonville & Green Cove Springs & Orange Park. Anyway, I moved to St Augustine in 2005 and this was the best experience and friendships of my entire life. I moved to the midwest in 2016 and I miss St Augustine so much! Literally, I think of it daily.
I love my home city
Like I say looks like HAVANA....😍😍😍
I drank from the fountain of youth in 1974. I'm still alive. Lol, my father did too and lived to 90.
I drank and it tastes horrible

That is definitely on my to do list when we visit next week!
My home. Great Job at showing some of the downtown area. Wish you showed our gorgeous beaches and Anastasia State park.

I’m originally from Florida and the whole state as a whole is so so rich with history that it’s amazing especially up and down the east coast of the state
The best part of St Augustine is over the bridge of Lyons on Anastasia Island. Because that's where the beach is.
*Lions* … 🦁🦁 rawrrr!
Nice town
My family my ancestors actually helped make and lived in st augastine when it was made
I would like to see St Augustine .
So much Spanish heritage and history in these United States. Oh, did I forget to mention that the actual French Quarter in New Orleans was built by the Spanish?
Seems the original French district kept burning down due to its wooden structures. The Spanish colonists replaced them with stucco & other design changes.
Born and raised right there
I asked my wife to marry me on top of the fort there back in 2010. Cool video, Flagler College is stunning by the way, you had a glimpse on your drone footage of it.
I got engaged on Vilano Beach. It’s my YT profile picture actually lol
what did she say?
Where was the historic villa you mentioned you could stay at? That looked super cool!
We were hoping for more landmark descriptions and historical comments over food reviews. :)
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Piękna nasza ziemia cała Pozdrawiam
This city has a lot of Spanish influence
First date with my husband was in St Augustine
Es decir que los ciudadanos más antiguos de EE.UU no hablan inglés. Eran hispanos. Increíble ésto no lo sabía, gracias por el dato histórico. 👍👍
I am from india camera is superb. Which cam you are using
Henry Ford didn’t build the Casa Monica. FYI. Henry Flagler later bought it, but Ford hadn’t nothing to do with it.
Flagler sold the land to a frank smith. Smith built the structure, did he sell it back to Flagler?
@@chikiML, I believe he did sell it back to Flagler.
Franklin Smith built the hotel after purchasing the land from Flagler. Franklin Smith ordered furniture that never showed up in time for grand opening. Only 3 rooms were furnished and Smith asked for financial help from Flagler within months. Flagler bought the hotel and the furnishings that showed up on his railroad, after he purchased it…for $325,000. Flagler changed the name to the Cordova and he had 3 hotels doing great!
The hotel room at the end. Which hotel is that ? It’s beautiful and I want to stay there . Also what’s the name of the restaurant at the end as well ? Steak looks great
been there as my first ever trip to USA that was in 2006,as we stroll i feel like walking in the spanish era ladies wearing a raffled shirt, old houses and the identical intramuros fortress when the spàniards colonized our country phillipinesbuilt in our co
