- XANTARES has been a controversial figure in CS:GO, holding the title of the highest rated player on HLTV. While some brush this off by saying it's due to playing lower tier opponents in online qualifiers, there's no denying that XANTARES is one of the most talented players not currently on a top lineup. People calling him out for playing against tier 3 are stupid. He played several tier 1 teams and dominates about the same. Obviously his rating is easly gained vs lower ranked oponents, but that means he should be in a tier 1 team and he's too good for the currect ranking or team he's in.

Many say that space soldiers are "onliners". What even is the difference between playing online and playing on LAN? I mean if ur good at one, you should be good at the other, right?
I mean maybe on lan pressure gets them. But thinking that in turkey pings are so much worse than europe,10 in europe 60 in turkey, ss are onliners claim doesnt make sense...
Cuz its easy to cheat online
they are very different, onine has no pressure, a loooot of peekers advantage/interp. It can reward alot more solo agressive plays that normally wouldnt work on lan because you can actually hold angles on lan. if you ever play on a lan you will feel a huge difference in how the game feels

See he is insane when he gets to play his aggressive play style. Unfortunately in BIG, he has to follow their rules so he isn’t as effective. Could be another situation like s1mple where he starts playing insane when he gets the chance to be himself

XANTARES is really good, but his stats are farmed by the amount of t4/3 teams they played online.
WTF? That's not a "system around Xantares agressive play". o.O His agressive play was like almost every other normal CT's agressive plays at top mid: 1 player goes agressive like xantares went, and another player throw flashes to help.
Even if Xantares dont push, Short and connector would be easily dominated by those 2 CTS.. i mean, his agressive play did not facilitated the positioning of 1 CT short + 1 CT connector. Those positions are fast and easily taken from CT side, like, always!
The only thing i see from this video is a CT pushing mid and dying. Seconds later, 02 desperate CT's gets the most basic positions (at short and connector) trying to cover up the HOLE that CT mid push caused to the defense of Space Soldiers.
