@@EETDUK best aim. Not best player. EU pros are good for a lot of reasons. The thing about shroud is he can adapt to any game and essentially be in the top 25% of players instantly. So when talking about a variety gamer he has the best aim. Obviously 14 hours a day CSGO pros are going to be better at CSGO but Shroud has the best mechanics when it comes to gaming in general.
Stories like this always make me bittersweet. Most won't see this and most won't care, this is the internet, I get that. I grew up gaming and loving every second of it, I was well above average, and competed in local halo tournaments, one year I did very well in halo 3 tournaments and got invited to pax west. I thought it was gonna be my time. But I was in high school, my parents were avidly against video games, and refused to let me go, they even got rid of my Xbox because they were upset it was too much of a distraction. These days I game casually and although I'm above average, I'm nowhere at the level I used to be, and nowhere near a competitive level. I'm also too old to ever get into that seen, an I'm going to university and trying to build a career. My dreams of streaming or playing games for others are long gone. None of this is to say I would've made it big, or been a great streamer, but I wish I had gotten the opportunity to try. Most likely I would've faded out like most wannabe streamers/ hardcore gamers. Watching people like shroud, is a sweet moment, in fact I need to thank people like Shroud, Ninja, and DrDisrespect. My parents thanks to news coverage and obvious popularity of streaming and gaming have changed their minds. My dad even apologized to be out of the blue after watching news coverage on Ninja. These people broke through barriers that others like me couldn't. What amazing achievements.
Similar to what I went through minus the whole Xbox being taking away. I just went through a lot of family issues and did my best to do well in school to get out. Still currently attending college while working in the medical field for experience towards becoming an RN. In the back of my head tho I still try to do content here and there on twitch and UA-cam, but there are a few doubts and scares I have. Things are at a complicated slope for me right now since I still wanna continue but time management due to studies and work makes it difficult. You gotta eat tho at the end of the day. This comment hit hard but good luck on school and hopefully you can somehow make a break through all of your passions.
Bruhv all I can say is never say never the spirit is still in ya somewhere and even if it doesn't manifest in yu in skill it's still there hey you never know you might just raise a prodigy yourself just aim not to be negative towards gaming when your kids present the idea of gaming to you you know the passion.... Why not pass it on and embrace it with your future kids?
Shroud's Dad : Yeah, I wanted him to do gaming and all I just gave him the laptop and let him do whatever he wants! My Dad : What You want the laptop Shut up and study
This is what happens when parents supports your passions and dream. EDIT:So many likes, means so many relates, my parents doesnt support my passion so what happened to me? Nothing. But i still love my parents.
only if it's from a young age and only if you actually have talent in it. There's a lot of people who wont be able to reach the pro scene no matter how hard they try, just because they have no talent.
When you play to much a game like practicing, you loose your magic, you become more calculated and easier to be a target. Shroud got everything what a player dream to get.Genius in one word, Shroud.
I always had no idea who shroud was, because I don't watch twitch. Just twitch fails on youtube. I did not know he was such a huge streamer, or why people even watched him because he was not really funny or putting on a show. as you said. But After watching videos like this I finally understood. He's imo probably the realest person you could watch in general. Be it twitch, or youtube. He does not have a fake personality like basically all twitch streamers. And for that you Have To Respect The Man Himself.
@@sk8erbyern one thing you need to understand, is that no matter how much you enjoy something, a fake person is still going to be fake. Most people are fake nowadays because it's all about getting people to like you. Same wit lh twitch. They want people to like them, donate, sub, and watch them. Even if they are enjoying themselves, does not mean they are not fake.
I've watched a lot of Shroud because of his laid back style, but this video made me appreciate him even more. Dude just did what he wanted to do and didn't let anyone stop him, all while being himself and keeping it humble. Love it.
It's natural it would appear that way. The video fairly compared two styles and Ninja is the epitome of one of them. Ninja is everything that was stated in the video, but nothing stated was inherently bad and is the reason for his success. Whether or not they're "shots fired" depends on your own value judgements. Ninja thrives on being over-the-top in an oversaturated market. He's a performer for a different audience.
"Figues like Ninja and Dr. Disrespect have never been on the forefront of any major professional esport." This dude really just ignored the many years Ninja played Halo professionally. Shots fired.

Got the video link from a friend. Gave the video a chance as shroud is my favorite streamer, then saw "ohh 23 minutes video thats too long lets just watch the first 5 minutes" and before you know it, i was at 22nd minute mark and didnt want the video to end. You really know how to keep the viewers engaged with that narration and story telling, subbed right away. Keep up the good work
True, but his point was that Shroud didn't play Fortnite to sell out, he stuck with the game he liked. Right now, he likes BO4, and it runs a lot better like a week after release than PUBG does over a year after plus however long it was early access
Nothing, the guy is a genuinely good person. Thats rare. Thats why he's my favorite, that and why would you aspire to be like anyone else in ESL? He is the best.
The people that dislike shroud , dislike him for the actions he did with c9 and the pro circuit. He chose streaming over the pro circuits, he never proved his stripes against the other people on his level(consecutively), and when CS was too hard for him to keep up the effortless number 1 look, he resulted to streaming where you'd see him killing a whole bunch of casuals, rather than pros. in CS community, that just makes you a Professional amateur.
Why is he a god at every game he plays then? I'd like to see the aimbot that got past vanguard before valorant was even released, let alone all the other early access titles he's streamed.
I respect Shroud helps streamers who don't get noticed, like he said he streamed for a year with no viewers, and if it wasn't for csgo who knows if he ever would of, its easy to lose motivation of years of nothing.
Yep. So far doesn't have as many followeres as in twitch. So he might have done it for the money. Same for ninja. Each time i check mixer they only have 4000 to 7000 viewers. So i wonder if it was wise to ditch twitch.

Shroud was good at Apex Legends before it was even released
He’s good at any shooter game before it was released
Because he helped with the development of the game so you sir are correct lol.
I thiNk as a CS:GO pro..he can be extremely good at any other shooter game
It's basically futuristic PUBG so yea, makes sense

19:51 i'm literally in tears
I have almost the exact same life story :(
I can feel you man! We all want to do something but the constant pressure of responsibilities or something else decides our future for us.
dr disrespect started it lately give it a try
Move out lol

I always had no idea who shroud was, because I don't watch twitch. Just twitch fails on youtube. I did not know he was such a huge streamer, or why people even watched him because he was not really funny or putting on a show. as you said. But After watching videos like this I finally understood. He's imo probably the realest person you could watch in general. Be it twitch, or youtube. He does not have a fake personality like basically all twitch streamers. And for that you Have To Respect The Man Himself.
He also does this because he wants to. He plays these games because he is enjoying it. He doesn't have a fake aura because of this
@@sk8erbyern one thing you need to understand, is that no matter how much you enjoy something, a fake person is still going to be fake. Most people are fake nowadays because it's all about getting people to like you. Same wit lh twitch. They want people to like them, donate, sub, and watch them. Even if they are enjoying themselves, does not mean they are not fake.

Man a lot of shots fired at Ninja in this video 😂😂
I’m not a huge ninja fan but this guys really getting his rocks off on shitting on him lol.
Lol duh he was in his shadow for the longest now that apex is out he’s now getting the videos he always wanted😂

real answer would be, shit is common around the globe
