I make my white the same way. The longer you cook candy, the darker it gets. Stopping it at 280 is perfect. I've learned that from experience. Cooking candy to 300 for white apples, you'll have to use a ton of white, which can alter the taste drastically.
Giro RO, you're amazing !!! I nerd this video andas more, hope God Bless you, but please, please don't leave me without much time without vídeos, thanks. 😘
happy holidays roll I just love the white candy Apple for the holidays another project I'm going to have to try out for the holidays thank you God bless
I love ALLLLLLLL!!!!! your videos Simple, Beautiful, and Perfect Everything I follow your instructions and recipes., Will you please answer my question whenever I have a order for apples, it's for 30-40 apples, I only use your recipe, the full batch recipe 4 cups sugar etc., I could not for the life of me figure out why I kept getting off-white apples until I found your white apple video, by the way the red, gold, and black ones everyone went crazzzy over. My question is can I continue to use the full batch recipe stopping at 280 degrees? or Use the recipe in this video only? if so can I double the recipe in this video, since I always have large orders?
Hello, Ro.....I luv your videos. I made your white candy apples. I let my 411 cook until 280, but after cooling my apple was like taffy. What did i do wrong? Thank u and God Bless
Hey Ro! I just had to come back to this awesome video again! Question... After dipping my white apples, can I add color to the same batch to dip more apples with a different color? Would really appreciate a reply. Thanks in advance 😊
I really enjoy you videos they are very informative. Could you please tell me if I use the Hi Sweet in you 411 formula. How much Hi Sweet should I use?
Thank you hi sweet is the Equivalent to corn syrup so if the corn syrup is a half a cup then you will use a half a cup of high sweet but I don’t recommend using hi sweet And it’s just my preference
Hello I am new to this and I loved the tutorial. Can you cook colored candy mixtures to 280° and still get that crunch effect without having to boil it to 300°?
Hello, thankyou so much for all your informational video. I have a question, please. Why do we use green apples for making candy apple? Can we use red apples for them? Thankyou!
Green Apples works well for candy mixtures. You can use Gala Apples just make sure there’re clean properly. Red Delicious Apples does not do well with any candy mixtures
They use granny Smith green apples because they're tart and cut the sweetness from the candy coating. They also hold their crunchiness better and longer w the extreme heat of the liquid candy. @radha ganeriwala
You can but be careful of the tent of the oil flavor. If added after you have added the white coloring it will definitely change the color of your mixture.
You can do either or but it depends on what you’re applying to the Apple because some things that you may apply to your Apples may slide down if it’s too heavy
Happy holidays all, Help I followed recipe to the t may apples were beautiful until the next day I am getting leakage at bottom and some cracks here and there what am I doing wrong?
Tamika Isaac You may be adding too much food coloring so in the next upcoming videos I will be demonstrating different measurements for adding color to the mixture
Can you cook other candy mixtures (colors) other than White to 280°? I feel like sometimes waiting until 300° alters colors (especially the lighter ones)
question how long does this process take I’m doing the same exact steps that you are doing and it seems my mixture is taking forever to reach 280 and 300 degrees it just gets stuck on 200 my stove is on medium can Anybody help me please
Good evening can you please tell me wher I can purchase the heat resistance mat that you have so I can get started on my projects I’m a new member many thanks in advance
These apples can last for a long time as long as they are properly stored Apples will break down if they are in a hot humid area or if there left in the car but keeping them stored in a cool place or in your refrigerator they will last a long time
It depends on The size of the apples that you are using if you have small do you may get 4 to 6 if you have mediums you make it three and any large apples you’ll get two
I always forget to get green apples ..Do you think 🤔 that's why I'm having a hard time with the colors..I want to do white candy apples for Easter 🐣 🎊have red with Yellow apples and they always clear it really hard to cover them..all the colors that I have practice always clear

Hi Ro! Can I use Wilton white for this?
Yes
Love the video
If I wanted to add sanding sugar or glitter to it do I add after I dip or when it cools down ?
It really depends on the look that you’re gone for but because these are candy apples I would add after the Apple has dried
Amazing work tho ! I just started making caramel apples 🍎
Can I use strawberry lorann oil to this white candy apple recipe or is it considered a dark color?
You can but be careful of the tent of the oil flavor. If added after you have added the white coloring it will definitely change the color of your mixture.

Can you sprinkle sprinkles on the candy apple white still wet or do you wait till it dries

Awesome...you could have even drizzled red on it too.
Flowers Flowers yes
After I add the white color , can I put in the apple or I have to wait for the sugar to cool down a little to put in the apple in?
