Great
Hi
Ther couldn't have been a more perfect shark for this than Chef Wondeful
"I'm matching the energy of the room" is the best lowkey comeback I've ever heard to Barb. These guys just made a good product.
ua-cam.com/video/bsPSJREQgUw/v-deo.html
Exactly 😅😅😅
To me the reason why the tone shift was because they were getting serious about their product at that point not just the act.
@@Soldier_Beyond it’s almost like they’re serious about their product 😂
@@stiperaddaraddaraddamiocic9708 Facts, honestly if I had the time and money I'd buy one cause I heard they were actually pretty decent product
Robert said it well: "hard to get a deal when you call somebody boring" 👏
she said “that proves that they didnt recover from that” as shes trying to recover from that fat L😭
*hard to get a deal
Absolutely!!!!!
@@VisesYT exactly, imagine if it was the other way around. Like, if they called Barbara boring but said they still wanted to partner with her. Then after she goes out, they just say “well that just proves you can’t recover”
It would be just as ridiculous. What was she thinking 😂
But he said the same thing.
That’s what Barbara gets. You can’t treat people like that and expect them to take your offer. I’m glad they didn’t hesitate taking Kevin’s offer once he said he’ll do it for 25%
well it was the truth what she said and nobody denied it so relax
@@CauseImFlawless It wasn't the truth. As the guy said, he was just matching the energy of the room. He had 2 sharks go out, how do you expect him to be jolly after that?
@@tenzing2090 Exactly.. her commentary was cringe and out of place. The pitch was over and it was time to get down to business. Was he supposed to continue to be a clown for Barbara and keep the fake Italian accent? If the product is good, it will speak for itself. Its inventor doesn't need to be some socialite.
@@tenzing2090 it was the truth. he didn't deny it nor anyone else when she said what she said. let's get a grasp on some comprehension skills and not just be sooks all the time 👍👍
@@CauseImFlawless Barbara is that you?
Her “main point of concern” about their business was their personality 😂😂 I like how Kevin just stayed quiet and said “I like engineers”
:D haha good.
Barbara should actually be replaced with some other enthusiastic investor....she hardly invests in any deal and very good at only finding problems/issues...Some may also call her stingy and a miser :-),
Maybe she though they were fighting.
The irony of Barbara talking about a personality
I just come to write about how he said i like engineers, but u did it 😂😂😂
Update:
December 2022. Bertello Pizza Oven increased to $6.3 million in sales.
The company is doing quite well! Good for them.
I'm glad it's doing well. It looks like a great product and I really like the two guys running the business.
Yeah but did they fixed their personality? Barbra is concerned
I would hope so they doubled the price of them just looked on Amazon and now they are selling them for $489.. I was interested at the $250!
Damn it KEVIN!!
My Dad is always eye-ing this pizza oven at big retail stores. He’s really interested in it. Interesting to see it’s a product pitched on shark tank.
Damn, Kevin helped 10x sales, just like he said he would.
They had 75,000 in sales within 24 hours of the show airing and have done about 8 million in sales since the show aired 22 months ago. So chef wonderful didn’t lose his money.
They said they were netting 33%, so that would put Mr. Wonderful at $660, 000 in earnings thus far with his 25% ownership. With Kevin's stake, it would leave the engineer with 60%, and the remaining partner with 15% of the company.
guys stop being so rude you are talking about more money than barbaras entire net worth
I'm glad to hear that 🙌
Wow, you telling this saved me some good time. I would ve been searching it up otherwise.
I never seen this on shark tank till now and always wanted one. I think I'm going to pull the trigger and buy 1 maybe even two.
I love that Mark always congratulates the entrepreneurs
Because it's such a hard thing to do
He always
But he's out
Yeah Mark is my favorite on the show but sometimes its like he is laughing at them behind it. Especially when they accept Kevin's deal lol. Like "Congrats guys 🤣"
It’s such a small but significant thing to say. A little goes a long way.
Even when barbara is in she’s out 😭
LOL
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hilarious.
⚰️⚰️⚰️🤣🤣🤣
Lmao.
I never thought the guy lacked energy, building a 13 year tree house, license structural engineer. Man this guy is a real deal! Nobody likes an out loud microphone. It's the answers that you put to questions and challenges you come across.
Agreed. He seems like a very energetic guy and is passionate about his stuff.
True
Exactly what I thought. She didn't make any sense
I actually found their act at the start cringey. I found them more more bearable once they switched to professional mode.
Barb being shocked at him not wanting her deal after insulting the man’s energy and personality for 2 minutes straight is amazing
I guess you can say she got WOOD-BURNED!!!!
True
And then she mopes and becomes nasty when she doesn't get the deal. Ultra rich people live in a bizzaro reality.
She’s been shocked about men breaking up with her for the exact same reason yet she hasn’t learned her lesson.
Eric and Andy: “Barbara said we were boring and lacked energy, and for those reasons, we’re out”
🤣🤣🤣
😭😭😭😭
Lol exactly screw her
Uno Reverso 🤣😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
They calmed down because it’s negotiation time, not some kind of clown show. Get real Barbara....glad she lost the deal.
I know this is 6 months old sorry but that's exactly the vibe I got. If they were being goofy during negotiations they probably would have gotten insulted for that too, plus it's easier to say something you'll regret if you're not calm & emotions are running high
Did she expect people to talk like that in real life CONSTANTLY? What a phony!
It's not even real until the contracts are signed.
73% of the deals are not the same deal made on camera and 43% of the deals never materialize .
Exactly. If I’m talking numbers I don’t want some guy doing a fake Italian accent.
Well said.
Guy built a village of treehouses! How much "energetic" do you want?
Love how they said yes to Kevin, shook hands with him and ignored Barb completely 😂
I died laughing

I think most ppls would do the same.
Everybody is talking about how Barbara got shut down, but look at Mark continuously enjoying the pizza, even at the end when everybody else is babbling 😂
What about it?
That's a mood lmao
I keep thinking about how Kevin burned the pizza 😂
Arriving to work - watch everybody else work - only ate pizza = perfect day.
@@WickedPhaseyou're the type is what's wrong with this world. Mid? A vibe? Bet.
News flash to Barbara. I come from an engineering background and can tell you, despite engineers having a reputation for being boring and antisocial, the amount of passion engineers pour into their work can be astonishing. I remember waking up in the middle of the night with design ideas that I scribbled down on the first available piece of paper. Engineers are inventors at heart. Never forget this.

Barbara was about to try to make her first deal on Shark tank in over 100 years but first she had to be sure to insult the presenters and be concerned that they weren't so energetic as they were during their original pitch presentation so for those reasons she was out
😂🤣😂🤣
lol!
😅😂😂😂
“..in over 100 years..” 🤣🤣🤣
Barbara has made so far the deal with the biggest ROI IN SHARKS HISTORY
Kevin has been sidelined a lot of times. It's happy to see him win a deal
With good reason - he offers the shittiest deals by far.
He has offered good ones before tho but for recent ones he hasn’t they been pretty bad.
@@UserX9254B from episode 1 until now on average he offers the shittiest deals. They're almost never fair. Meanwhile Robert and Mark have offered the most fair deals. Daymond is second worst with his 33.33 bullshit deals.
@@Vendrix86 it's funny because I think he offers some of the best deals. Which is why Lori offers his deal (but a littleless) and undercut him alot of times.

>Barb: Surprised Pikachu
Barbara's strategy was to lower down their confidence so to get a better deal from them which obviously didn't work because they were confident and believed in their product.
Kudos to them. 👏
Omg Barbara WTF do you want him to do? He was clearly paying attention to what the sharks had to say after the pitch and was trying to be serious, you can’t expect him to be loud and energetic when Mark and Robert are talking. He gets shut down by two sharks and you still expect him to be happy and cheering after that? Then when he finally becomes himself you call him out for putting “an act”. 🤦🏽♂️
Yay ! Kevin got a deal. Sometimes you get tired of seeing the man getting shut down. He's a talented man as are these 2 entrepreneurs.
ua-cam.com/video/bsPSJREQgUw/v-deo.html
Because he didn't try to loan shark or that royalty crap
Plus he is probably the best fit for the food space.
Royalty obsession he has is the turn of,
Anybody that knows anything abt business that is a no no
Even when Mark is out he's still the nicest guy ever. Said it wasn't a fit for him but still said congrats to all their achievements. What a guy!
Kevin just saying “I Like Engineers!” to nobody during an argument is hilarious to me
Then you laugh easy
Chef Wonderful believed in this and it’s really his preference of products. Good on them for choosing him!
Yeah honestly they did good
-More like Mr Pitiful.
Barbara showed her true colours at the end, it shows the guys made the right decision to go with Kevin.
Kevin already thinking about how to optimize the oven to have a digital temperature reading. Love it
considering how hot 900 degrees is, all digital devices would fry up. It is better to just have Temp Laser Gun at hand.
@@freakdeath1020 they actually sell them with temp laser guns in a package now too
Yea cuz he burned his pizza lol
@@victorespino5650 it was funny because they told him "you have to rotate it every 30 seconds" and he's like " I already knew that" and then he burns his pizza.
“Your not jumping around like an excitable child , I’m concerned”

Barbara’s weird for expecting him to keep up the crazy energy. Like they did fun show but then it was time to talk business. And he’s right, he matched the energy of the room. What a strange complaint
Kevin was perfect for this deal. This deal fits to his portfolio.
Also Barbara pretty much set up the room *perfectly* so that Kevins deal would be accepted. Couldn't have gone better if the two had planned it ahead of time.
Kevin is actually knowledgeable about many things. While most of the sharks up there are one trick ponies.
@@Tyshkevich hmm I agree partially
My comment was never to demean other sharks. I stated that Kevin was perfect since this is a food/restuarant type product and that is his forte.
100%.
Kevin read everything like a book. He offered higher than Barbara, and knew the guys were going to come down to 25% and would pick him over the old hag. EXCELLENT execution!
The old hag 😂
Yeah. I think he did offer 30% first more because he figured the guys would still take it and it would be more salt in the wound for Barbara, but was happy to come down to 25% (which is rare for him).
Exactly. He is that good . Good comment & thought ! 💯
Kevin didn't even hesitate to take the 25% counteroffer, I think that was what sold the guys on him
The old hag lmao
That sideline was epic. Those two put Barbara in check with a quickness.
While Kevin‘s gonna pay those two with cash, they’ll pay Barbara a reality check.
Two brothers born to lead and challenge themselves. I wish you both all the success.
8:36 look at Barbara's smile right after Kevin offered 30%. She thought for sure she had this in the bag. But, little did she know.
Barbara's ridiculous insulting comment got her exactly ZIP.
you guys are so soft my goodness
Exactly, that came out of no where. He was acting like all other entrepreneurs after their pitch lol. She's done this before, it's just a strategy that Barbara uses when she is willing to invest and all the answers are good, she will make up something about the entrepreneur like "I feel like you're disrespecting me", "You aren't serious about your business because you live with your Dad". She's just trying to destabilize the entire pitch hoping to break their confidence and scare away the sharks ensuring she can make a ridiculous 40%+ deal.

Barb insults them saying they have no energy why would you want to work with someone like that. Kevin does bring the most value to them anyhow.

Just look how the guy was head clear and confident in choosing and finalise the deal... Didn't shy to eliminate Barbra... That's how a business runs. Not based on emotions.. And she was judging her energy 😂

Every bit was emotional…didn’t you see them take less over an insult Barbara made?
@@AkireMaru they took exactly what Barbara offered lmao what do you mean?
I didnt understand Barbara's take about the energy dropping after the pizza slap. He was just answering questions like normal.
That's what I thought. The part before was more like a commercial. I'm sure he doesn't go around saying, "WHHHHAATTTTT?!"

Lol she really did say she hopes these guys's business venture fails just because she's "annoyed" that they didn't do a deal with her after she whined about their "lack of energy." Their energy was obviously a cringey act from the start. I liked them better after the act ended and they started talking seriously about how successful they are. Kevin was super excited about it from the beginning. This is a guy who appreciates a tasty pizza.
You can see Kevin was so happy to make that deal. Didn't bother with his usual loan/royalty offer. Didn't even bother counter the dude's 25% counter. That once clap when the guy accepted his offer was like a vindication for him.
One of my favourite episode among all. I rewatch this many times now
I think entrepreneurs typically hesitate to do deals with Kevin because he comes across as cold, ruthless, and self interested. I've got news for you, most people are ruthless and self interested and they'll run you over to get what they want. They just hide it with fake smiles and niceties, Kevin is direct about it.
Kevin would hands down be my go to investor, he knows his shit and he’s straightforward.
Honesty is the best policy

i would love to work with Kevin. no one can deny his successes... just depends on the type of business it is and if he's a good fit.
He also is kind. He seems savage on the show but is a nice dude off the set.
It was obvious to everyone that Barbara first wanted to see these guys squirm for her money. Kevin beating her at her own game was a good guy move.
Barbara: criticizing them and doesn’t think they have what it takes.
Kevin: likes them and believes in them and gives them the exact same offer

Kevin grows on me more and more. I love how he says at the end "I love engineers" hahaha
Kevin has always been the best one on the show
Barb must have rode away on her broom super upset that day! LMAO
I love his "energy" when they were walking out knowing they got a good deal!! Barb doesn't need to be on the show, she is never interested in anything 99% of the time.

"I hope you lose your money'? Wow. That's a horrible thing to say to people who are out hustling and trying to start a business.
I love how the caption "barbs offer was railroaded" & loved how she was shocked when they took wonderful mr. Even though she essentially became a body language expert yet couldn't understand why these guys didn't keep that same energy from they're opening pitch which is real simple- these guys probably rehearsed that intro a thousand times which gave them confidence early..but everything after was going to be rapid fire questions & have to answer very carefully because what barb doesn't seem to grasp is these guys are obsessed with this invention & have every right to become shy or lose energy more & more until they get offered something
Barbara: I didn’t get picked, and for that reason, I’m out.
What did Barbara expect? Him to act like a dope the whole time? Clearly he switched so they could see he's a professional and he was talking about business now. No one is going to take a deal with someone who acts like the bad theater pitch the entire time.

3:19 - He missed a crucial advantage in mentioning about using wood with gas, the gas saves quality wood and preheats the oven faster, the wood is used to flavor and also heat the pizza which gas can be turned off or used along with the wood depending how much wood you want to burn.
