Mam mera passport tatkaal se aa chuka hai (Mumbai). Par ab police mujhse mom/dad ka birth certificate mang rahi hai. Mere mom/dad patna se hai aur dono ka birth certificate nahi hai. Meri file ab RPO se Police chakkar laga rahi hai bas. Please help karein k aage ka procedure kaise kiya jaye.
Yes, the video is pointless. I don't think anyone will be allowed without a birth certificate or something else in it's place like school leaving certificate or policy bond. My parents are born and raised in Mumbai. Yet it took a year of things being stuck in police verification because of lack of birth certificate or it's alternate document. The police doesn't listen to excuses like provisions or this act that act. The person clearly stated that I will merely collect the document and then the file gets passed to CID office which doesn't approve without a birth proof. In the end I took the pain of visiting BMC wards and eventually getting her 63 years old birth certificate document for my mother.
