Oh the sarcasm was strong in this one....hilarious 😂
Been following Bryce for a long time, his videos have become hilarious, but yet still extremely informative. I really wish he dropped vids more than once a month! I could watch him all day.
I’m here for the short, shorts…. Well done Senor. Have one of the original Ventus Hoodies, great piece of gear. The humor is top notch !
The Ventus plus the Nova Pro vest is just about the best active winter combo I’ve found. It’s worked for me in the Ohio valley where I live and also Alaska when I was there for work
Ha! Excellent. Bryce turned up a notch. Well done.
This was simply brilliant presentation bud, so professionally elaborated 👏👏
thank you! idk about professional but ill take it. lol
I have a Fjallraven jacket with zips on the ribcage (not armpit and stretchy ventilation panels) and it is way better because its easy to open and close the zippers with one hand and they act as access pockets to your layers beneath as well as vents. This is a cool idea too. I prefer pants pockets too, primarily thigh heigh cargos. Man, you are going to turn me into a UL curious youtuber at this rate lol
UNLEASH THE BEAST!!✊️🔥 I'm literally working out watching this video!!✌️💚
I have a CS40 pack and a couple of other Outdoor Vitals items. Very good quality.
As a truly heavy sweater, I can hike naked on a warm day and still sweat so much I look like I just came out of swimming in a lake. No venting on any clothes minimize sweat. Anything I wear looks like I just poured a water bottle on myself 10 minutes into hiking or doing a workout. I rate clothes based on how warm I feel in them not on dealing with sweat.
Also living and camping in eastern canada, I can’t fathom hiking in shorts due to ticks. It’s pants or death:
No nonsense, very to-the-point, still fun as hell, excellent content. You were probably born english. Love it!!! 🙌🙌
shoutout to 5 inch inseam running shorts from the Champion brand
So with the Ventus and Vario jacket combo, what’s the coldest temperature range you have used it in?
I love my Ventus. That and a light weight merino t-shirt was all I wore on the Laugavegur Trail in Iceland. As long as I was moving, that was all I needed, even when it got windy. I didn't know about the hidden pocket though.
Kilt = "Ventilated Hiking Shorts" Perfection.
I love my Ventus hoodie!!!
The Mountain Hardwear Kor Airshell has side pockets and they zip up!!
Im gurssing your view through rate on this one is one of your best. Your personality really shined through. Can really tell you feel more comfortable now. Nice video!
Your videos keep getting better. I especially enjoyed this one. Keep up the good work!
You make youtube entertaining again 🎉
im tryin!
Great Video Bryce!
Honestly the all white body is the main reason I didn’t go with the CS40. I live in Georgia and the red clay here gets everywhere, plus I love to hike out west and that red-brown dust stains everything. If they’d used black for the side pockets and bottom panel I’d have bought it in a heartbeat, but I hate having a dirty pack and I’m meticulous in keeping my gear clean on trail, no matter how long I’m on it.
Condensation builds up in the ventus very easily for me.
That jacket is just like my dynafit midlayer jacket. Has the same ventilated armpit
Wow, you really upped your comedy game in this one! This was actually really funny. Well done!
Funnier than the comedy videos I watch! I really like the humor along with being informative.
Great video. It’d be cool if you could mention prices when you do these reviews.
1:28 running layers have had this type of ventilation for at least a decade.
Good luck with the new UA-cam channel. Hope you collaborate with Dan again. Congrats on the gear… enjoy it. Kudos to Dan Becker as well… super kind of you.
Cracking vid! Think youve unleashed YOUR beast!!! Feel compelled to look at product after watching.
thank ya!
Everything about you reminds me so much of my buddy. You guys could be twins...fraternal of course. But still.
Thanks for sharing Bryce! I always look forward to your videos, very educational and hilarious. -dave
Well done buddy. Might have to pull the trigger on some OV clothes.
The Vario looks practical and stylish. I am thankful for the athletic cut mens wear. Being thin regular fit looks hooky. Thanks for the gear review.
Great video, Bryce! I have various OV gear, mostly some clothing and quilts. I may have to take a closer look at that pack.
I came here for the gear.....stayed for the jokes.
my plan is working.. hahaha
So I am going into hiking and looking for a great all-around use knife! I currently am in Norway, so I need a versatile knife for hiking/bushcraft! Full tang is the only thing I know I want for sure. What do you think!
$76 for shorts?! 😮
Dude, loving the extra jokes! I knew you had a sense of humor I get, but was holding back. Thank you for not holding back with it!
P.S. I've kinda bought in completely with what Outdoor Vitals has been doing. The fleece leggings might be the new go to! Testing needed
right out of the gate you were on fire, I only listened about the gear cos you were so entertaining. Still looking for my inner beast and dreaming about athletic fit. Gear worth a second 👀
thanks for the comment!
enthusiastic thumbs up for your Egyptian research....I had never noticed. This one is golden. And brother I'm with you....Tyson! why do you hate short people - I owe you a purchase for the pillow. Give me some 5's. You'll corner the market.
Truly epic. It takes a real man to wear pink 🤣. A lot of good looking gear that I will have to check out.
More frequent videos, please! ❤
i need a team of people. lol
Bryce's funniest video so far!
I didn't have a good experience with OV my first buying experience but I guess I'm going to have to try them again. Ugh
they are really good now.. i never had their old stuff but i cant stop using the new gear in place of my other stuff
No sponsor, but definitely a commercial
OV gear is crazy overpriced for what it is.
i mean yea it looks like one.. but i had to tell the world!
i dont really agree.. its pricey yes.. but all the good stuff is
Hilarious video!
This was an awesome vid! Don’t go changin!
thanks sir!
Not gonna lie, I may have hit the 10 second back button, just to check out them cheeks again!!! 😂😂😂
Fun informative video!!
You're not the only one. The analytics tell me that's the most rewatched part of the video 🤣🤣
@@BryceNewbold Can you blame us? 😅🔥♨️ lol
Thank you! 😂
Love the David Goggins moment, “it’s a athletic cut” if you don’t fit into it, Go to the Gym stop being lazy, go to the gym…hahah 😂
Are you actually getting funnier, Bryce, or is it just me?😁
i am making dumber videos. yes. hahaha
OMG! SO FUNNY!!!!!
thanks!!
Need 5s with zipper pockets!
ooooo... yes . agreed
10;10 video , hilarious :)
Another great video (just wish I didn't see you without underwear lmao) love the videos keep up the great work
Great review! I like the features offered on the gear you showed but hot damn is some of it overpriced! $80 for thin shorts with nothing to them? 💸💸💸 But maby I just don’t know what I’m missing?
Got both the Ventus and Vario in 3x and they don’t fit. Athletic fit is correct. If you’re fat (which I am) you better lose weight if you want to wear them
If you really want ventilation, wear a kilt.
it would have to be a 5" for me! and short kilts might look... questionable... haha
@@BryceNewbold lol, yeah mini kilts are a bit risky.
"don't wear underwear"
Never do 😎
Wait are you from Cleveland?? I'm from NE Ohio too!
im from the cornfield.. lol.. about an hour south
Socks of course
Id like to harass companies that make jackets to implement double zippers for women and their hips. Id love a lightweight and decent quality packable puffer and rain jacket or a mid like you showed. Double zippers allow coverage and movement for women. Come on companies. Get on board.
good idea
I love your videos but sometimes I get impatient waiting through the gear information for the jokes.
🤣 That's what I'm going for
.. Pack looks like it might make the grade ... have to see the test of time .... seems like the newer space age materials don't carry weight well ,,don't last more than 1 season ,, and are stiff and noisy ..... have 7" shorts and want 5" shorts ,,,, have mommy cut 2" off ... problem solved ..... Athletic cut jackets suck ,, need ability to move .... not a fashion show ....... all OV clothing I've purchased have had to return or give away ...sizing not even close and some are only in limited sizes ... maybe only for women ... or guys that wear pink underwear .....
I see they still have that useless ‘slick’ hood. Edited: Don’t get me wrong, I like how OV innovates but it’s a hit and miss.
can you elaborate? ... just not enough insualtion?
@@BryceNewbold Sure, I had this discussion earlier at OV Facebook group and it didn’t go well. In my mind if I buy a hooded version, the hood should be there to protect. I was talking about Ventus and Dragonwool pieces. Either has a hood that covers the head fully. I was met with vicious cult-like replies of being stupid because I should _always_ use a cap or beanie. I’m a OV fan but ended up giving those slick hoodies away. All good. Missing the million dollar jacket that you are wearing in the vids. I don’t really need it, gave the full set, but *dang* it looks good.
I miss my white pack…🥲
