    That's a good technique. I gave a buddy a bottle of Vienna lager I made filling the bottle the same way. He kept it in a cooler in the back of his truck for about 3 weeks. He called me one day, said he was sitting on the couch drinking the beer and said it was wonderful, said it was still carbonated. I was shocked. Carb caps are a great product. Good job DR Hans. Cheers

    Very creative as I've seen a few home made counter flow fillers but I also know that PET bottles travel much better if they are needed to be shipped vs glass for obvious reasons. Keep up the great work and whomever is being a pain your side...tell them to pound sand as you can't please everyone plus I've come to the conclusion that the people who are the most critical and negative rarely contribute to society in any way or help others for that matter.

    Love this idea, amazing. I love my Tapcooler bottle filler, but now its reign is in jeopardy...
    Loved all the laughs in this one as well.

    I have been using a bottle wand connected to a thumb tap and filled a couple of 2 L bottles that way. I assume I got some 02 in there along the way. This works much better for a no 02 fill.
    Thanks Dr. Hans.

    Congrats for the channel. I have a problem with my beer. I have done a 5 litres batch with safale s04. Until today it haasbeen aging in the bottle for 4 weeks. I tasted it two weeks ago and I could find good flavor a hops aroma bur today that taste has desapeared. Is there any particular reason that could it produce this lack of aroma and taste? Thanks.

    • @DrHansBrewery

      It's most likely an oxidation problem. Not yeast related.

    I didn't realise you could use a short thick beer line to transfer. I was using my usual 1.5m thinner beer line!

    • @DrHansBrewery
      @DrHansBrewery  3 роки тому

      That's the benefit of transferring under pressure.

    Great idea. Can you use the gas NC adapter for the beer line? I always thought it has to be the black adapter. Would it work vice versa? Or do I need the yellow cap for the black adapter?

    • @DrHansBrewery
      @DrHansBrewery  3 роки тому +1

      You can use the gray gas connector for the black beer connected. But not vice verse.

      @@DrHansBrewery Hey Dr. Thanks for your reply 👍🏽 But it has to be a carbonisation cap for gas (red) ? I can not get it into my head why it shouldnt work with the yellow carb cap (liquid) and a black beer line on Both sides.
      Edit: Dont mind. I just found out that the yellow and red carbonisation cap are identical

    Please could you give more info on the clamp to depress the disconnect to avoid hurting finger? Where can I get one please (I'm in UK)?

    Sanitizing your bottles is unnecessary as long as they are clean

    • @DrHansBrewery

      Of course, sanatizing is just an insurance I think it's worth it. I don't need an insurance for my house either until shit happens 😂

    I really don't understand why you're so condescending while playing with your short jumper... I had to stop watching after that and tell you...you were right.
    Maybe it's just time for a new "favorite g-string", since the one you've been using is starting to effect your mood....don't think I didn't catch your nod in your malt video.
