The Secret Power in Prayer! - Charles Spurgeon Sermons
Charles Haddon (C.H.) Spurgeon (June 19, 1834 January 31, 1892) was a British Reformed Baptist preacher who remains highly influential among Christians of different denominations, among whom he is still known as the "Prince of Preachers." In his lifetime, Spurgeon preached to around 10,000,000 people, often up to 10 times a week at different places. His sermons have been translated into many languages. Spurgeon was the pastor of the New Park Street Chapel in London for 38 years. In 1857, he started a charity organization called Spurgeon's which now works globally. He also founded Spurgeon's College, which was named after him after his death.
Spurgeon was a prolific author of many types of works including sermons, an autobiography, a commentary, books on prayer, a devotional, a magazine, and more. Many sermons were transcribed as he spoke and were translated into many languages during his lifetime. Arguably, no other author, Christian or otherwise, has more material in print than C.H. Spurgeon.

I'm 25 years old Youth and listen to charles Spurgeon always and the pple around think my age doesn't suit me at all coz of what I listen too ...they have no clue how Iam totally nothing without my Lord Jesus and nothing will turn me away from him ...loving God is the best relationship I have ever been in 👌
God refers to His Word as a sword in Hebrews 4:12. Here the Word is described as living and active and sharper than a double-edged sword. The Roman sword was commonly made in this manner. The fact that it had two edges made it easier to penetrate, as well as to cut in every way. The idea is that of piercing, or penetrating; the Word of God reaches the “heart,” the very center of action, and lays open the motives and feelings of those it touches.

I am 65 and I first started reading Spurgeon when I was 19. I have been in ministry for about 30 years. Spurgeon's sermons have been an inspiration to me since those early years. Praise God for the abiding witness of Charles Spurgeon.
How to get Him back. I was born again 1991 and did horrible Satan TRICKED me. I want Him back. Please I was so deceived andfooled. Tell me HE WILL COME AGAIN. I WASN'T SPIRITUALLY BATTLING.

When Charles Spurgeon was alive there was a critic who would write that Spurgeon's sermons were "unsophisticated". Now that critic is forgotten (I can't even remember his name). But Charles Spurgeon's works have stood the test of time.

You never need to feel abandoned because Jesus promises to be right there with you; He will even be, through His Holy Spirit, in you.
Father I don't pray for the world but for the once which you gave me out of the world and for the once which will come to me through there words.
And while Peter spoke to them, they received the Holy spirit.
Not every one which knows the bible knows the way of God.

Nobody comes to Jesus without the word as I've mentioned above. Jesus prayed to God, " through there words to me". Talking about his Apostles.
I've also mentioned on my above comment, that while Peter spoke to them they received the Holy spirit. For them to keep it they need to practice it otherwise it will be like the sower which sowed the seed on the wayside it comes up and die.
Paul said," the word I speak is not words of man but truly the word of God which work within you". The Word creates his son. The Way to salvation.
God's son is not an image with long hair and blue eyes. In Japan people throw that image on the ground and step on it .Those images don't have faces anymore. To some this is bad but to me it just reveals the truth. Because no man can make a natural image of God.
Paul thanked the community for receiving him as an angel and as Jesus Christ. Although a different body and face but the same spirit for Paul believed that he didn't live any more but Jesus lived in and through him.
When they asked him to show the Father he replied, "you've been walking with me for so long and you ask me to show you the Father, If you have seen me you have seen the Father. This he ment his actions.
We are angels trapped in this host body system, our free will; rebellious to take the serpents bait. Only through the Gift of Grace are we called to Our Dad! The Way through Yahshua Jesus and the Holy Spirit as Comforter! Love, Peace and Grace❤🙏
@@Psa141 the serpents bait which is the Word of God. Unfortunately a lot of false teaching keeps people away from the truth.
Grace is to know God and his son is the one which revealed him through his actions to obey his Father's word. Paul toke on that image. He didn't live for himself anymore but for Chist. So should we as the body of Chist is the community. A lot of people but one spirit.

What an encouraging teaching on prayer. Especially during this time in our nation. I have been saying God's Word is the only truth. We are being told by our own government that evil is good, and good is evil.
I have been praying so much since March 2020 for our nation to repent, turn from their wicked ways, and acknowledge the Creator of heaven and earth.

I have been stumped several times in the past two months while trying to connect computers, printers and tablets with the internet or with one another. I have spent hours on my own without success. Finally in each case, i turned to the Holly Spirit and asked for his help. In every, in every instance, within a few minutes my problem was solved. It's a supernatural intervention that I have shared with my wife, but I would like to share this supernatural power available to us as believers. As Charles is saying in this sermon, ask and you will receive. If you believe in the Trinity, I strongly suggest you call upon the Holly Spirit the next time you are stumped. He just got me back on line today, I praise God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holly Spirit for answering prayer and for demonstrating to me just how fully capable His power truly is. Amen. Glenn

I am immensely, Jesus blesses me every day when I wake up. I start the day thanking him for yesterday and thanking him for today. I grew so close to him three years ago when my husband died. Jesus is my Lord, my Savior, my comforter, and the love of my life. He has filled me with so much love and compassion instead of grief and sadness. My life is so beautiful with him. I have read a few quotes by Spurgeon over time, but had never listened to a sermon. I feel like a have just discovered a gold mine, a gold mine of deep revelation of God and His Living Word.
