How am I just now finding this channel? Dude this is great!
Thanks brotha! Moving over here a bit more from IG. Need to start doing a bit more long form content like yourself!
@@HH60GDriver not sure what your plan is and I respect anonymity, but if you're up for it we can do an interview on my channel and get some people pointed your direction. Hearing about the AF helo world would be good for the aspiring mil pilots. Hell, your videos make me want to go fly helos. 😂
@@CWLemoine would be great if an interview could happen!
@@gopi6162 has happened! ua-cam.com/video/PZurWTtuXnI/v-deo.html
You wouldn't believe how happy I feel whenever you upload a video! 2:53 - At this point, I melted.. What a view and skills at the same time!
Amen.
Man! Can’t express how much I appreciate your service, but also your video editing skills. These videos are great!
Thanks for the kind words! I'd make more, but they do take a fair bit of time to edit.
jolly_pilot ya I bet! They’re great quality man.
@@HH60GDriver Are you in the Air Force allowed to make youtube videos where you are flying a USAF HH-60G Pavehawk ?
@@foxtrotsierraproductions8626 Yep! ...as long as you're not using a camera while you should be flying. GoPro's are great.
@@HH60GDriver Ok nice to hear that. Did you fly other aircraft or only HH-60G's ?
*ABSOLUTELY AMAZING FOOTAGE BRO!!!!!* It is one thing to see your vids over land, but over the blue water, especially when you were going diagonal 45° over the coast guard bost, filming out you open cockpit was fascinating.....I'm good glad I found your channel sir....stay safe & THX for all you & your brothers do for us, all our US mail members are GREATLY respected & appreciated!!!!
Thank you! Appreciate the feedback and glad you enjoy them.
Thanks for these videos, I’m active duty Air Force enlisted currently but just applied for OTS last board for pilot. Hopefully I can get a helicopter slot and be an HH-60 pilot. These videos keep me inspired and loving the rescue mission and motto!
That's great, glad you found the channel! Good luck in UPT and hope you get helos. I also post a lot on my IG @jolly_pilot
Helmet cam is the way to go! Fantastic footage of some very skilled piloting.
Those guys have the most beautiful office of the world : the blue skies, and the turquoise see...
Thank you for sharing with us a part of your fantastic job...

From Brussels, with Love....
Just came across your channel have just finished watching all your videos. Fantastic work with editing, song choices and fantastic views. Fantastic piloting skills aswell. Thankyou for your service from a Australian Army Brat
Thank you! Much appreciated.
This is some amazing footage!! Everyone is a student in a helicopter, but this pilot looks like a master.
Far from it, second you think you've stopped learning is when you need to hang it up!
@@HH60GDriver Good point!
Beautiful
How can any of these videos have a dislike?!?
Great footage and skills! I love watching these! Keep up the great Instagram posts as well.
Some people don't seem to like the music! Clearly folks who've never sat in one of these for hours on end...
jolly_pilot Don’t get me wrong the raw videos are awesome but I agree. The noise gets to you after a while....
My GF said that its just a bunch of helis flying over sea.... Seems like im single now.... :D
Jakub Holub fair play I guess
cringe
It is, though, a bunch of helis flying over sea, right?
T P yes
what more is it then ....
This is seriously cool. Love this helicopter, please post more.
The colour of the water is amazing.
The video thumbnail is amazing
It's actually great high res photo I took!

Pretty awesome that you flew to Fort Jefferson! Really cool place to visit...
This is so badass dude. I really hope I can do stuff like this when I’m older
I do have a question, though.
How much say do you get in what aircraft you fly? Is it something you pick, or is it assigned?
I think I was on that boat you flew over. Key West Express?
Probably! Way out to the Dry Tortugas and back?
@@HH60GDriver haha yep! wife made fun of me for getting excited like a little kid when I saw you guys. Keep up the great videos and Thanks for your service!

Awesome freaking video, bro ! Love it!
Thanks man! Much appreciated.
When you're out there on your boat thinking you're cool as shit and then 2 of these land 80 metres from you. There's a perspective to everything.
Wow that’s so beautiful 😍😍😍
Outstanding video, it’s a beautiful sight to see our beautiful military birds circling our skies in the homeland.
Thanks Josh!
what an awesome job.
Miss those pave highs/lows when I was stationed at Hurlburt Fld.
Very nice.....thank you for all you do...reminded me of some of my past...fast and low...
Sweet gig!
Pretty sick sound track
Do you know if military helicopter time counts towards airline time when you become a civilian? Or do does it have to be fixed wing time?
It does these days! Lots of guys transition to the airlines.
Most airlines do not count it at all. Southwest gives you half credit, Alaska counts all time.
Some regional airlines have transition programs where they count rotary hours.
101327 it's called MONEY.....maybe you've heard of it
leonjones12 screw regionals, empty promises and empty pockets is all they have to offer
Nice videos, brings back memories, used to fly helos for the US Navy back in the day...
Coolest shit I've watched in ages, great music with it too!
Thank you!
Awesome works!
Outstanding footage 🙌🏻
Awesome Fort Jefferson. 👍🇺🇸👍🇺🇸
Gorgeous out there!
The music gets in the way, the good thing is the helicopter's music, its sound
This was awesome!
Thank you for your service!! Nothing like florida keys.

Another outstanding vid , brother
Brings back memories
Good times

Thanks brotha! Same to you.
I watched the fantastic vid flying low over New England and thought how great he doesn't muck them up with "music". Guess I was wrong. That said, enjoyed the flying part immensely!
Very nice piloting 👌👌. That hovering while moving forward slowly with the boat took some serious skill.
Awesome videos. Glad my buddy turned me on to your channel. I really miss working on those. COM/NAV for the 41st @Moody early 2000's.
Thanks man!
that videogame's graphics look great
wonderful performance, thanks your excellent videos
Thank you!
I have my grapes turned max just for the beauty of the scenery
Which helicopter is better for water SAR, the Pave Hawk or the HH-65 Dolphin?
I'll let the Coasties jump in here, but I'll take a Hawk all day long... Better range, more stable, rugged, etc.
@@HH60GDriver I've always wondered why the CG uses different helicopters. Do PJ's only fly with 160th? Or will they fly with anyone necessary?
I like your job 😍
What an awesome video man!!!!
Awesome video! And what a scenery to fly! Aren't you afraid of loosing your side cap which is in your right leg pocket?
Thank you! ...and typically I zip it up, but as long as you keep it in trim I've never lost anything out of the pocket!
It's about time we got a military video of Modern day Helicopters from the pilots perspective
I'm curious how did you get the camera to slide from the front to the rear of you, Beautiful Editing. ¡Awesome sir!
Like my.wife alway tells me...
... MORE, MORE!.

Gonna be applying to OTS here soon, really gonna aim to get a slot on this airframe!
Awesome! Good luck dude, it's a blast.
so cool
We need more videos!
Great video. I have always dreaming of being a helicopter pilot and this question came to my mind. Does pilots always take the same side of the cockpit? And if they do why?
We switch back and forth, but typically the aircraft commander sits right!

I bet it was hot. It always is when I fly our planes through. The doors off must have been nice.
Yep! Nice cool spray when you're down low...
Hey Jolly! I was wondering what the HH-60 helos of the Air Force were used for : is it only SAR missions, or also combat operations like troop landings, CAS, etc... ?
We do CSAR and domestic SAR primarily! Typically no transports.
@@HH60GDriver Ok thanks! Fly safe :)
Awesome video! Our low level P-3 stuff is fun, but not as cool as this.
awesome vids man, i love flying vids but at the same time i am a little scared of flying, sound silly i know, keep up the great work and stay safe.
Thank you!
This brought memories, I was stationed at Patrick AFB flying CH-3E's back in the late 70's early 80's..
@Wendell Novais son latinos?
I thought your hat was coming out of your pocket for sure :)
Hahaha! Normally I try and zip that up, as long as it's not my wallet...
GRIM2876 Spartan2016 I was stressing it was going to fly out as well!
What was that lever you pushed up at the end? Was that a rotor brake?
Yep!

are just flying with pave hawk or with another aircraft
Two of them!
Why is the US Army spending any money on the Victor model when there is nearly an identical equivalent in the force?
Dreaming of being a pilot man
Best of luck!
More like freedom hawk!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Were gonna need a bigger boat...........
I can only watch. And Dream...
god bless america
So you probably went to college? What’d you have to major in or did you join before college? Very curious
Yep! Just a B.S. in marketing.
jolly_pilot man wish I had the money for college rn. I am about to graduate in a few months and I know almost everything about aviation. Is there anyway I can join the navy an get my bachelors degree within the navy an be qualified to fly? Like say if I joined the Navu to work on helicopters. Can I get my college and go to ocs?
@@JordanBulthuis If you do four years as an enlisted member, you can get your degree paid for with the GI Bill! Or you can enlist in the Air Guard and get your (state) tuition paid for, then apply for a pilot slot once you finish your degree.
jolly_pilot So I’m not sure if the navy is much different then the Air Force. Can I go in the navy as an mechanic for helicopters and then after my four years get my college done. So should I re enlist an go do my college maybe online schooling with the bill. Would you think I would leave my postition as a mechanic then do college an join the navy as an officer after college and try an select a pilot spot. I’m not very well educated about the navy and Air Force flight programs. Man would be a dream to be able to fly for the military then retire an go for commercial flying. Just very confused on the whole college after/during military employment.
