I use to go here as a kid, there's an old safe in the office building still locked. Also we found old Polaroids of workers that use to work in the mill.
I went there a few months back, but had been aware of its existence for a couple of years prior. Absolutely beautiful in person, I’m planning on making a return trip soon.
Hey Jason, what a great video. It is amazing how beautiful some abandoned locations are, just the sound of the water is so peaceful. Hope you and Ellie are well.
I have been here after discovering it, many years ago, I liked this spot in comparison to other mills I’ve explored because it has a “midevil castle ruins in the woods” kinda a vibe to it. Thanks for the amazing video!
I grew up right down the street from there. There was a small building that used to be right in the front we used to go in and it was really spooky but it's not there anymore
Well done once again, Sir. Always look forward to seeing your next adventure. I appreciate the effort you went through to get more of the story from the local historical society. Keep up the amazing work!
This is one of the places I filmed, when I returned back to Burrillville. It was suggested for my beautiful places of Burrillville video. But I decided to make it a seperate video. There were so many places my friend and I explored back in the 1990's. I wished I would've filmed them, as they dont exist now. I am surprised you haven't collabed with "exploring with Josh" . I'll be checking out more of your videos.
I've thought so many times how I wish I could've filmed all the places I explore in the 90's. At most, I had a disposable camera...but I found some amazing sites and a few very choice items. Great memories.....
@@milkapeismilky5464 you and me both. I had a good friend, we spent countless nights exploring places in Mass, RI, and Connecticut. Unfortunately most are now either redeveloped or private property.
@@devinbrown2281 hard to describe how to get there. Literally have to walk a couple miles through the woods... one trail to another. I would have to show you on the weekend probably
A lot of old mill towns in New England. All that work moved South throughout the early turn of the century and the 1920s. Then it moved offshore. Labor costs were too expensive. And rancorous. Similar pattern happened to a lot of industries.
Once places are well known they become targets for vandalism and destruction. So I keep certain locations vague to help preserve them. With some research you can track down most of my spots, though. Thanks for watching
