As an Integra enthusiast, this is very very different. But I have to respect the amount of work that went into this thing. Great job with the build! Definitely something that has never been done before
If you wanted to know the difference between installing a car onto your engine...vs. installing a new engine to your car. This is the video you should watch.
I don't see why this video has so much hate. This guy did something unique. And his setup looks pretty clean! I know he didn't just drop an engine inside an Integra. I'm pretty sure he optimized the car for the installation first.

BillyBob Keith Because people like hating everything Honda because it's a Honda and they lack the mental capability to give a car credit where it is due even though it may not be the fastest thing in the world.
Why so many dislikes? This is absolutely awesome. Who gives a fuck if it's not your prized little ricer engine thats in it...those are cool too, but this is also cool.
why do people call all asian imports a ricer? Ricers are cars that are made too look cool but as slow as the cars most you haters own. When a asian import looks simple and goes fast then it's is not a ricer. Most people that say "ricer" probably never even had a fast car before so don't know the difference.
HOLY FUCK HOW ARE PEOPLE SO STUPID ABOUT LITERALLY EVERYTHING! rice refers to cars that come from ASIAN countries, where they eat alot of fucking rice. the stereotype of your typical doucher driving a shitty civic is where this term is best applied, and probably how you dumbasses get it origins confused.
rob brown Isn't "ricer" the American equivalent to what us English call a chav? What annoys me the most is how the term is applied because like the word chav, ricer is used as a derogatory term for people with less than tasteless modifications on their cars. But you're saying that saying a car is rice just means it comes from an Asian country, if that's correct, it shouldn't be used as a derogatory term and shouldn't be applied to douche bags with tasteless modifications. Even if you didn't want to race and wanted a moderately modified road car, Mugen make nice Honda's and so do Spoon. Just like any other car, you get good examples and bad examples, why the hate towards Honda and why is the word ricer typically used towards Honda's? I'll have you know there are really well built Honda's out there: K20A FACE OFF - Best Motoring International
rob brown Bullshit, you ever see those 90's sn-95 and new edge mustangs with stick on vents on the fender and gay rims, double spoiler and shit. That's rice. That's domestic rice.
I love how this car pisses off the muscle car guys and the import guys. Neither side seem to get it. Any real car guy would not dislike this car. This car is awesome, and with the single color paint job and classic five spoke wheels, is very cleanly executed. There have been many cars built in the 'safe' manner people seem to want in the comments, but 3 million people didn't view videos of THOSE cars. Major kudos to the builder of this car for having the balls to build it and a clean execution.
Part of building cars in general is coming up with something unique. I think this car accomplished that more so than if it had been just another 4 banger with a turbo.
Nobody seems to know what "rice" means smh. You need to realize the "rice", or "ricer" is the driver, not the car. Just cause it's Japanese does not make it rice.
rice actually stands for Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhanced. because they have a huge spoiler for "down force" and a body kit for "arrow dynamics" and shit like that bu then they have a stock 120 hp piece of shit engine in them.
Emil Madsen The words "rice", "ricer", "rice burner", etc as they pertain to cars are not acronyms, they are pejoratives against Japanese cars and motorcycles based on a stereotype with regards to Asian diets. Trying to change it into a cutesy acronym seems kinda disrespectful.

I doubt its fake. The radiator can be seen in the picture for the video, at least to connecting tube for it. You really think its in the original spot? And it might not torque the car like a standard V8 would. You have to remember that this is custom, and that the frame is completely custom, and heavily reinforced to handle the power. You can't compare what a normal vehicle does to a one of a kind, customized vehicle does. And if was edited, you'd see pixel zips all around the car because of the quality.

***** you can't rest your case because it's invalid. in reality you have no idea what you're talking about. there are plenty of american motors making equal or more horsepower than their displacement in cubic inches. the 4.6l dohc has been 281 ci making more than 300 horsepower since the 90's stock N/A. the new standard coyote 5.0l is 302 ci making 420 horsepower and 390ftlbs of torque. stock N/A the aluminator xs is the same 302 ci displacement making upwards of 500 horsepower! if you wanna talk about power, you should know that horsepower from a small displacement engine and a big block v8 are worlds different even if they make the same horsepower figure. a 700 horsepower turbo b18 will only produce 400 something ft lbs of torque. that's not very powerful if you ask me. that's why no one would bother swap that into a heavier car or truck. a v8 will give you better throttle response and produce a more linear torque curve while giving you torque at low rpms. that's not something Japanese engines can do because they're mechanically disadvantaged in length of stroke, bore diameter and piston count. these crucial things were sacrificed to increase fuel efficiency. Your 4 cylinder must be at very high rpms to achieve a desired power band and will not be practical with taller gear ratios or axle ratios. that's the big difference between import engines and domestic v8's. if japanese cars were any heavier, then imports would be painfully slow because they don't have the torque to move their own weight around. don't even mention that useless horsepower per liter bull crap. displacement never changes and horsepower is not parallel to displacement so it's a stupid comparison. many more factors besides displacement determine an engines efficiency.
chris anderson I've been driving for a while now. I know a shit car when I see one. I just don't understand why somebody would put a great engine in a shit car

Originality. Not for everyone. and a cammed, carbureted, blown v8 isn't about quick start ups. If you ever drive a cammed v8 you will understand. Or, you can stick with your front wheel drive drive four banger, y'know, because that's cool...
