Tommy and Carol are undoubtedly cruel bullies, similar to Troy Walsh, but nowhere near as uncivilized as Angela from season 4. She’s the worst of all the bullies in stranger things.

@@tiesen.Billy was just an angry, abused teen acting out rage. The bodysnatched version of him doesn't really count as a bully. It was full-on possession by the mindflayer.
That being said, Angela is the worst bully. She literally made fun of 11 having lost her dad. That's freakin' evil. I wanted to shmack her with the skate myself!

Honestly, I have no idea what drove Angela and her cronies Jake, Chad, Stacy, and the rest of LH High School to publicly humiliate and condemn eleven to the point that Angela turned the entire Lenora Hills community against her in a similar way that Jason Carver turned the entire Hawkins community against Eddie Munson.
To be completely honest, all the other mean/bully characters had some kind of redeeming quality except for Angela and her cronies: Steve apologized after humiliating and fighting Jonathan, Stacey Albright, Tommy Hagan, and Carol Perkins were somewhat cruel but didn’t do much to stand out let alone isn’t too popular; Jason Carver isn’t really a bully and had reasonable suspicion to turn the entire Hawkins community against Eddie Munson, and Billy Hargrove, Troy Walsh, and James Dante, although racist, violent, and homophobic, did have a satisfying karma.
Hopper and his officers never suspected Walsh of being victimized by Eleven and the party, in contrast to Eleven who basically was vilified by Angela and the rest of Lenora Hills. This is why I think Angela is by far the worst of all the bullies in stranger things, and her 3-episode appearance in season 4 does not satisfy my inquiries. Why in the goddamn world would a popular girl boost her morale and take advantage of an unfortunate victim to the point she was completely destroyed by her mentally? That is far too cruel.
I'm watching this because it was filmed a 1/2 mile from my house.
The store has since been razed to the ground and roads reconstructed to a major intersection. I love having this permanent reminder of how the area looked before all the change. 😊
It is nice to have those reminders.

They were originally going to make Steve sooooo much worse (he was gonna r pe Nancy) but they changed it up when Joe Keery auditioned and his charm won them over. You can at the beginning he is friendly yet full of himself. It’s after the whole Jonathan taking pictures situation that cause Steve to grow more into a douchebag.

I'd argue real life logic applies, but Steve solo'd a grown ass, trained Russian soldier, who was twice his size, which makes no logical sense whatsoever. So you're probably right. In the real world though, Tommy's build would mean he wins against Jonathan. Assuming he doesn't lack conviction of course.

That happened way ahead in season 3. This is season 1. And no, Jonathan would not lose to tommy of all people. You saw the fight against steve and Jonathan actually beat the character development into him.

This was Steve’s turning point. Right here he decided enough was enough. He knew who he was, and he knew he wasn’t like the friends he was around or the life he was around. What does he do? He basically tells his friends to fuck off then goes and starts fixing his mistakes. Starting with cleaning that horrible movie sign then repairing his relationship with Nancy. This is when I started to truly love his character and now like most of you he is my favorite in the show.
Steve's character had the most growth throughout the series. Jonathan and Nancy were boring after season 1.
I'd say Nancy's character did make sort of a comeback when she became a badass in the last season, but I agree the way Jonathan's character fell off is a crime.
Nancy carries Jonathans character. I didn’t like her in the first season but she undoubtedly has changed dramatically and cared for her friends.
