I cut a level 5 phy def on my Sorceress by accident. I chose a reroll option and it changed I think the space bar cooldown level 5 to phy def level 5.... I was actually kind of bewildered, was thinking about recutting it after finishing transcendence, it was until I saw your video here about how beneficial it actually is, and I do feel like it does make my slightly tankier.

Ngl, I got pretty confused with extra turn strat and the little bar graphs
I think it is pretty clear. each row is a step of the elixir and each column is one of the sages. so you have 3 wide columns representing each sage and how many order or chaos points they have at a certain step. The steps are numbers on the left in the very first column
@@DracoGrim yeah, I’ve since learned that “order” refers to the blue node options and “chaos” refers to the purple nodes haha. Was just a bit overwhelmed in the beginning. Thank you regardless!

If you use the simulator, you will see that choosing someone gives them a +1 stack of 'order' and a +1 stack of 'chaos' to the others

Man I hate to be a downer but epic elixirs not allowing you to reach 35 set bonuses (unless crazy lucky) is so troll.
Sure 5% more damage for 30k is fantastic, but it's pitiful compared to how much damage legendary elixirs can grant you.
The 9/7 stone comparison is silly. You're comparing peak min/max of 1 system to the floor of a different system.
It'd be like if your lesser quality stone (epic elixirs) only allowed you to reliably hit 5/5 and then you can't achieve a 5x3 setup.
Or if we compared it to weapon quality, this is like you saying the system grants you the same increase like going from 90 quality to 100... But with epic elixirs you wouldn't be able to go above 25 quality.
That's a REALLY small bite of the apple.
they buffed epic elixirs after this video was made, they gave epic elixirs an extra turn. I know people that've gotten 4/4 epic elixirs with this buff and its first week.
Not sure what you are on about. Yes, the floor of this system is higher than previous ones, but it is still cheaper, thus it is as he said: THE MOST GOLD EFFICIENT POWER GAIN in the game so far. If you have to choose to invest your gold into something, it is always the best to pick Elixirs, even if purple and even if those purple stay only for some time. The cost of honing, gems or weapon quality is way higher than even rolling some basic epic elixirs and then having to redo and replace them later with legendary ones.
