In my experience these cultures of people are typically more closed off and don't have the same experience in general of stresslessness and the feeling to be 100% natural around your oldest friends at all times like in North/South America and Asia. It was kind of a shock to me. Anna is half Swedish but she is very well travelled and 'globally raised', so she strays from the mold I'm describing.

His mistake was moving. When he was way ahead she was trapped. Almost all her pieces were in a spot where moving gets them captured. A couple nonsense moves like shifting the king around or moving the pawn one square was the move. Give her a chance to make more mistakes.
He seems fine for a quick catch-up. It's easy to forget that Anna herself is still very young (in her early 20s) and so many of her male peers she grew up with and around are likely still rounding into shape, maturity-wise. I bet he'll get better as he gets older. He still has that young, hyper bro energy, especially probably being around Anna and knowing her emerging fame.

Not a great chess player but I really like chess. What I see on this game is how beautiful life is meeting new people and how interesting it is to have a conversation with them. I think he was nerveous. As someone else in the comments with more chess knowledge than I has pointed out, he might have won the g4 battle and the game. Perhaps it was the camera and knowing people generally root for AC or perhaps he tried to play an mind game and lost? Btw, he's not even an investment banker, but a software engineer (someone else mentioned this). Perhaps he was trying to make the content more interesting? I would want to talk with the guy, before I made my mind up about him.

The guy likes Anna, he looks at her more than at the table, sometimes stare at her boobs. He drinks often juice, he has not interest for the game... He really loves her.
THANK YOU!! I can't believe nobody gets that OBVIOUS point. For some reason all these commenters here are so offended or something.. He DIGS her, she makes him nervous, and that's why he keeps chattering. And to tell you the truth, a couple of the looks Anna gave him would have seriously affected MY play. And in further defense of the guy, Anna looks particularly fresh and ravishing here.
