No one really asked lol but I found a Sol De Janeiro perfume on eBay for £10 😂 I just saved like 20 squids.
I am brazilian and I've never heard of these fragrances. I went to look for where they sell and find out that they are imported and very expensive here 😅
If it were a Brazilian fragrance, they wouldn't be talking about it.
I'm Brazilian too! they say that this line is very affordable but when I looked at the price at Sephora I was shocked lol
It's affordable in Europe, like most of the designer fragrances. But when they come to Brazil, they cost here more than a niche fragrance costs in Europe.
All fragrances are cheaper in Europe or USA and a lot more expensive in Latin America. 😣

I will always do a main base, over a loose base with a thick toper after all under them have all dried down!
Lol I'm 22 Most can't believe I'd sit in my dry down time that's 30 minutes to a hour of dry down time. I souly do this because of ceoworker I had once. She was allergic to heavy scents anything sprayed around her.. * I'll say without disclosing the job * but it showed me that ('sometimes it's better to sit wait then run out the house smelling like the front of the utla store after a new perfume drop!!! Big no I can wait and chill happily!!')
Also do I my best and keep my scents as close to slimar as I can!

@@brookehaybel9693I do this with certain fragrances that I wear too; I consider if I’m traveling in a car or plane also, which is why it’s great to have a good selection lol. I’m prone to migraines with certain aqua fragrances, so I consider these things and good to read that you and others do too 🙂

I feel like 71 doesn’t get enough love!! (Good for me since I like to smell a little unique) lol but I actually bought 71 this summer and that was the dumbest mistake obviously since it’s gourmand and goes SUPER POPCORN in the hot sweaty summer. Now in the fall/winter it’s deliciousssss, seriously long lasting literally 8+ hours you guys, and a compliment getter! I can’t stop wearing it, my husband lovessss it! This one is fantastic to layer with some more spicy perfumes as well if you want something more sexy 🤎🍁❄️

Can be more summer i hear

68 is my favorite. I’ve gotten several compliments.
I didn’t like #68 at first either and then I sprayed it on my skin and it totally changed it for me. Love the way it works with my body chemistry!!
Fragrance doesn’t produce chemical reactions in your body. The only way you would conceivably rely on a scent to morph is if you’ve eaten deplorable amounts of sulfur or had a lot of alcohol. It’s pretty much a physical reaction dependent upon your hygiene routine that occurs within your epidermis from modern hygiene practices. More in the physics realm.
Also a considerable factor is abstract, but yes your experiences and sociocultural factors play into your perception of a smell much more than you realize. Skin chemistry is an inaccurate name slowly conceiving an accurate message with the wrong terminology.
@@avasava7720I don’t think they meant the perfume reacts chemically with the skin. For me scents always change on my skin because my skin has a distinct scent like everyone else. It’s the layering effect. Two scents combined, skin and product are always going to smell slightly different depending on the person.
62 is iconic and not cheap at all, it smells divine and lasts forever.
Do you get, instead of the smell to get faint and fainter after hours it even smells nicer and stronger. I have never experienced such since I have been using bodymist but this 62 is a bomb🤩

I love #71! It’s smells like a chocolate chip cookie! I also have #68 that I like in the bum bum cream. I wear Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait with it and it smells fabulous! I spritz #68 throughout the day just to refresh. #71 has my heart though! I wish they would make #71 in the body wash and cream!

I love the shampoo-y note in the 62! Keeps it fresh and better for tropical climates 😊
71 is my favourite for the colder months, works well with oud/wood & soapy/powdery scents. I layer it with Ajmal Shine and Versace Red Jeans and I will literally get people SNIFFING me 🤣
My summer fave is layering 62 with Omnia Corale from Bvgari (became my summer staple since y’all recommended it ❤️)

Have to agree with Anthony. I’ve owned them all, and 71 is the only one I’ve repurchased. I even got it in the jumbo size. These are not, however, any better than Bath and Bodywork’s. I can find each one of those smells at Bath and Bodywork’s 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️

Haha, ‘62 and ‘40 are my favorites! I love the collection they have and the limited editions are great too. The Anitta limited ed with patchouli is lovely. Ps. They also make an exceptional deodorant (scented like ‘62) that doesn’t irritate and works great. No baking soda I believe.
I'm tired of the Baccarat clones as well. My nose is not refined, but to me, it smell like hospitals mixed with sweet smell of Band-Aids, lol. Honestly, the next video should be the main line for the BBW body mists. I think there are some good ones in there. Also, Victoria's Secret has perfumes too!
would love to see a review on the PINK body mists from Victorias secret. "Fresh and clean" smells exactly like Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue Intense.

I’m not a huge fan of body mist, but these I like. Although I gotta say I prefer much more body lotion/cream versions of them from Bath&body Works.
Cheriosa Body Mist (Pink Bottle) is a dupe to 7 Virtues Vanilla Woods. Literally the heart and drydown are twins. Pair it with a Vanilla Body Cream or Lotion. The price point is better getting the Sol than paying the higher price.
Oooh I literally bought 62 a week ago and I love how it smells on my skin. I’ve had my eye on the 71 and 40, so it’s cool how you guys are naming them both the winners 😁

I'm happy you talk about the fake smell. I've always been able to pick out fake flavors as well as scents. Peach and banana have always had trouble, now I'll add pistachio to the list. Thank you.
I wish they would make a body Butter in #71. So much better than #62.
As a brazilian myself, I recommend all the Natura products. I know you can find in France, not sure about the US. Not only their fragances, but the body creams, hair products... they smell amazing and use local ingredients you can only find in Brazil. Top quality, I love it 😍
About Sol de Janeiro, I bought the 62 because of the hype it smells a bit cheap indeed... I use it as a bathroom freshener 🤭 but I might give the 71 a try!

I personally get soo many compliments on the 62 one !! It does smell good but it doesn't last too long I have to re apply quite frequently, so the perfume version is prob better

I mainly use #62 in my hair :) I think it compliments my Shea Moisture manuka honey conditioner, and I usually get lots of compliments on how I smell 🥰 But I think I’ll try the other ones you guys mentioned once I run out of this one ❤

I am super intrigued now because I went to Sephora the other day and smelled some of these... from the scent description of Cheirosa 68, I didn't expect to like it much, but I was SUPER pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it. I have never smelled Baccarat Rouge 540 and so if that's basically what it smells like, I need to get my hands on a bottle!! I just watched your guys' Dossier video too, so I might go for their dupe of Baccarat to save some money and see how I like it.

For the first scent, I totally agree on being nostalgic when I first smelled it. I literally said “this smells something nostalgic” I just couldn’t pinpoint what it was, all I knew was that it was something that I smelled in my childhood love it

I absolutely loved the 68. Not everyone is american, and where I am in Europe I don't have Cloud or Baccarate Rouge physically to smell them, but I can and have smelled Sol de janeiro 68, so I'll definitely buy it. Plus the Ariana Grande one I can't find for less than 40€ which is a lot for a perfume I can't smell.
I never had anything by Sol de Janeiro but ordered a set on black friday containing cream, shower gel, scrub & body mist and I'm so excited lol. I'll see what this stuff does and then repurchase accordingly. I would also like to add that fragrance works differently on skin. It's just not the same straight out of the bottle or on paper.
To me, 71 smells exactly like standing near the popcorn stands at Disneyland Paris 🏰
Totally agree!! Love #40, it is so addictive! I got #68, the notes sounded nice, I had no idea it was similar to cloud when I bought it, but as soon as I smelled it I thought the same. Cloud is way better, dont care for 68 sadly. #62 is ok, definitely not as good as 40. I'm definitely gonna try 71 after hearing your reaction, especially bc we agreed about all the others! Thanks!!

The blue one that is coconut based needs to go onto the skin for it to balance. Once on the skin it becomes more like coconut but with toasted warm caramel it’s great as a just out the shower spray. And my other favourite is indeed the barbie fresh out the box one lol

Okay but I actually LOVE the first one they tried😭It is one of my favorites and would rate it 10/10 as well. I can totally relate to that Barbie smell! I feel the same way about that lipstick smell. And I LOVE the original 62 scent!!
The nutty scented one smells like roasted hazelnut. I love it. I like them all.
Cheirosa 40 reminds me of the vanilla sugar packets of my youth. And imo it's better than the 71 & 69 that are close 2nd & 3rd.
Plus! There's also the Cloud body mist for like $10-$12! 👍
40 is my fav! I also really love 39 since coconut is one of my favorite scents! I really wanted to try the newest one that comes in a blue bottle but I never picked it up

Bom dia: not my favorite smells like medicine and something is a bit off. I love vanilla but it must be the plum notes.
Coco cobana: smells like popcorn and has some similar notes to the OG cheirosa
Brazilian crush: classic for a reason, great for summer or whenever you want to feel like you’re at the beach
71: gourmand, smells like a sweet bakery. This can be overpowering and you have to be in the mood for this scent. Better suited for fall/colder months.

i totally agree with number 40 scent. theres this one flower i HATE and i really get it from there, but once i combine it with 68 im in love. otherwise its amazing.

The cream in 68 is amazing layered with 540. I hate how it applies but it definitely helps with projection and longevity. The spray is trash imo.

The 1st one-Anthony-oh h___no! 😂This is my 2nd time watching this one in Amazon prime day…to try and see if I want to try another one.
I have had all of these throughout the years and gone through many bottles and I love the original and 71. The problem I have is that they do not last on the skin at all and as soon as you spray, the scent is gone from the skin. The body lotions on the other hand have a VERY strong lasting power and leave a trace of scent behind.
I feel like you cannot adequately judge these body sprays because you’re not pairing them with the body cream. Most of these are meant to layer with the cream and together are magnificent. The bum bum cream layered with the Cheirosa 62 is so addictive, anytime I’ve worn it I have gotten stopped and asked what I’m wearing. My husband is completely obsessed with it and wears it himself now. The body spray is actually better than the perfume with the 62. 71 is the only one that doesn’t have a cream but it should. It’s actually my favorite. The Cheirosa 68 needs to be worn with the Beija Flor Elasti cream. The cream first off is fantastic for your skin and smells amazing. It’s a bit more floral.
All the mists are nice but the real stars are the actual creams.
I’ve got the same experience with the original scent at the first time. Specially the body mist , it has a sunscreen, suntan accord with tropical-flower shower gel.l( both generic).
My favourite is the perfume version( it has better longevity and projection ).

The body cream ( Bum Bum) smells better , like a pistachio ice cream.
All the body creams from the brand brings more nutty and creamy accords to the wearer.
Talking about Coco Cabana , this fragance was the first one that I decided to acquire.
It is like perceiving and tasting popcorn, coconut oil with the floral-tropical accords.
It is cozy and warmth.

The plum and vanilla mist she loves comes in an amazing cream called the Sol de Janeiro Bom Dia Bright Body Cream. So good. Contains AHAs and vitamin C!
