I have a question for anyone. When you have a device template applied via vManage mode does the configuration stay in place when the template is removed? I would like to add an interface, but the current template is attached to many devices. I just need to add the new interface to one. Therefore, when I remove the template from vManage mode to go into CLI mode will the prior configuration remain intact?
Hi Adrian, when you remove the edge device from the vManage template, the exiting configuration on that edge device will remain the same. Once you remove it from the vManage mode you can configure via cli, like adding the new interface.
@@SivakumarNetLabs Thanks. I was afraid if I removed the template and changed from vManage to CLI mode that would erase or cause matters. Thanks for the advise and great content too!!

Versa Networks calls their Orchestrator tool as Director, Like in Cisco SDWAN call it vManage to push the configuration templates
