Benji, I’ve been loving these food videos after years!! I started watching the family vlogs again too, it’s always so calming to watch everyday, keep it up! It’s your true passion 😊
We finally get to try all those dishes we’ve drooled over whilst watching your family enjoy over the years. There is something special about those everyday meals. Thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge with us. Keep em coming!
Thanks for picking up cooking videos again! I have grown an interest in cooking from seeing your food on the vlogs. Keep it up! I need all the recipes!
Benji I’ve been making your first Gyudon recipe you put out for years and it is one of my absolute favorite meals of all time! Keep these cooking vlogs coming! 😊
Hi Benji how much sugar was in the cup before you started adding the soy sauce and other ingredients (I’m assuming that was sugar) also was it light brown sugar or regular? It looked a little tinted Thanks!
Thanks for redoing the recipe! We recently moved to Texas from California and I miss gyudon I would eat from Yoshinoya. I’ll need to try to make my own with your recipe!
Glad we have this video! definitely wanna try this recipe. I went to my local farmers market and they had Gyudon at one of the Japanese food booths but it was sooo pricey I wanna try this. Thanks for this!

I bought this a the grocery store a few years ago - couldn’t read what it said but the picture looked good so I tried it. FELL IN LOVE! But I didn’t know what it was called and I’ve been wanting to make it at home SO BAD!! 🙇🏼♀️ THANK YOU SM! 🙇🏼♀️
Love that Benji is back!! 🙌🏼 I am going to try this! One thing as feedback is that I'm a real stickler when trying out new recipes. So when I see you have beef, I'm wondering how many lbs, same with Dashi, are you following the packets instructions, or did you make it a different way. If you could find time in your edits to write just the basic ingredients, I can follow along with the video for the cooking.
Cookin g with Benji is back, I am enjoying your cooking videos , please keep them coming and maybe o bashan would come on your channel to learn how she makes beautiful breads , I know she’s camera shy but we can try.❤️
always wanted to cook gyudon, especially seeing you always making it for the family. But sake and dashi stock are not widely available and cheap in The Phlippines, any recommendations for substitute please. tanx! God bless the family
Great job Benji, looks soooo good, minus the raw egg for me, lol. But look at you Benji shooting out these videos this week. This is what we've been waiting for seeing you cook on the family channel, on here we can get more of the tutorial portion. Great job! P.S. I'm waiting for your updated version of lasagna or mac and cheese, curry even your ramen.
Looks delicious, could you do a video on how you make your espresso and link the machine you have? Currently Sur La Table has a sale and won’t know which machine y’all have?
Still thinking about that ziti recipe, tried it and I loved 😍 I’m lactose intolerant though so I haven’t made it since 😂. This one seems quick and easy I should give it a go.
My partner and I have just got back from 3 weeks in Japan eating the most incredible food every day! we really want to try cooking Japanese at home - does anyone know what rice would you use in the zojirushi rice cooker? thank you!

I'm going to try this for my family soon!
I just brushed my teeth and this man has 600 new videos!
How much sugar did you have in the sauce mixture? It looked like 1/4 cup?
This recipe was one of the first recipes i ever cooked for myself when i first lived on my own! Thanks Benji 🥹
At this point, Benji is a full time cook for the family 😅
Will definitely try this 😋 Thank you Benji… love your videos 😊 Leahbear is such a cutie 🥰

Yum! 💜
we need a cookbook!
Mahalo for this!
“You want some?” Shakes head No. Benji “yeah you do”.
I’m not a short order cook either Benji. I make my kids eat what we are eating also.
How much sugar did you put in the soy sauce mix?
Why use MSG? What does that do?
Yummers!
Still thinking about that ziti recipe, tried it and I loved 😍 I’m lactose intolerant though so I haven’t made it since 😂. This one seems quick and easy I should give it a go.
Rice cooker link please. Thank you.
Where can I find the recipe for measurements?
My partner and I have just got back from 3 weeks in Japan eating the most incredible food every day! we really want to try cooking Japanese at home - does anyone know what rice would you use in the zojirushi rice cooker? thank you!
We have the exact same Kitchen Aid oven stove and my stove top is always dirty from all the constant cooking.
What type of beef do you use?
Btw I was reading that Uwajimaya name comes from the fact that the founders were from Uwajima, Japan ! Idk why I like looking up that kind of stuff :P
What cut of beef is it?
Benji, how to avoid food getting stuck and burnt on a stainless steel pan?
Why MSG? What does it do? Why white pepper? Why not black pepper?
MSG is like umami booster.
Benji can you add the link to your zojirushi. Thanks!
Judy left the link to it on itsjudyslife description box
Ah thanks
How much dashi ???
Bomb! ❤😂
❤❤❤❤
Please refrain from using msg… it’s ok if the food lacks in that umph! You don’t want to get your kiddo to get use to it
Yay!!
Im gonna try this. I've been making tge lasagna ever since i watched tgat video. Only bechemel. No more rico.
i wonder when the girls will start to want to cook too hehe
Ajinomoto ❤
Where was Keira? She doesn't like gyudon?
It looks delicious but I don't like raw eggs. 👏🏽
Not good to watch when you’re hungry😂
FIRST! 🎉
Youre gas range is extremely dirty borderline filthy. But you did your think on the cooking
