Very nice event so far. Cool mechanic, enemies that actually interact with it, looks and sounds good, and even story which I was very sceptical about after ch13 was worth reading. It's funny btw how with Ascalon release they made so many obvious ambushers tiles on each map.
@@DrSilvergun ambushers don't block, so all enemies passing through them will be affected by chains. On many tiles ops that have block just won't work very well, for example they will be facetanking arts lancers which doesn't seem very optimal.
I feel like ascalon is rapidly becoming one of the most underrated ops in the game which is fine by me cause her FGO lookin ass makes me sad but she is far above the other ambushers
@@DrSilvergun okay who said ascalon is underrated? she have strong slow, good damage by today standard(sorry manticore) and can be a trash mob killer with s1, big range with s3 and burst of damage with s2. her only "downside" is she cant block enemies which she kills anyway

"as long as you have an operator on stable tils to start the chain, you can retreat them and can still deploy other" But when I retreat my first deployed operator, the other operators deployed on bad tile (who connected to the first one) will be knocked then forced retreat. Did i miss sth
Is it only Thrm-x who does the chain thing? Cause we were specifically shown during the tutorial stage that if an op (chain start) leaves, all other ops they were connected to in unstable footing become unsteady if there's no other op in range to provide a steady link.
They become unstable because the middle attach is the one leaving. 1 2 and 3. If 1 leave it wont effect 2 and 3 if they have a connection, same can be say for 1 and 2 if 3 leave. If two leave and there is no 4 or 5 connect to 1 or 3, they become unstable. As long as you have 2 op connect and they are stable, they will be fine unless you cut the chain
Call me dumb but how do you silence the deathveil assassins on Bb-8 ? I tried to let them walk into the chains or deploy so that chains are on them but didn't get medal. I probably messed up somewhere but me too dumb and there's no mention of them being silenced in their description
Thank you for explaining how to make medics into chain medics (paprikapog)

tbh every melee tile is an ambusher tile
they absolutely do not require any specific set up to produce value

correct and also supports my point of "no bad ambusher tiles"

@@DrSilvergun I TRIED MY BEST OKAY, IT WAS MY BEST
Yeah, these two work-arounds are incredibly useful. Helped me a ton in the EX and S stages last time and will do so again this time.
Dr. Silvergun: "UUUGHHHH. I have to use THREE whole 4 star or lower operators to clear this map? So many operators."
This events taught us why relationship is important. And why those who bring scissors to battefield are evil.
Watching ranged enemies in this event repeating the cycle of attacking and then moving forward just a bit really ticks me off.
Its so interesting how you can cut the chain and make a chainline however you like them if you have any fast redeploy
this is a great event to use Ling, if i had her

But when I retreat my first deployed operator, the other operators deployed on bad tile (who connected to the first one) will be knocked then forced retreat. Did i miss sth
you can still deploy ops on unstable tiles in range after chain breaks
The new chain that spawns from it doesn't need a stable tile

two unstable ops make a steady link

Medal requirement is you need to let them walk over chains at least twice.
