Y'all told me I could use Blue Magic for styling and y'all were right! Here's my braid out video using JUST Blue Magic and my favorite leave-in conditioner! Thanks y'all for correcting me! It was a learning experience XD ua-cam.com/video/TF4edHu7DMs/v-deo.html
My routine: 1. Spray hair with water mixed with any hair conditioner you like. 2. Use a creme moisturizer . 3. Use Extra virgin Olive oil. 4.Seal with Blue Magic Super gro. 5. Leave it alone. 6. Where bonnet at night. *Retains length and promotes growth from scalp because scalp is well nourished and hair is not breaking because it's not dry.
Everything you just said is 100% true except for the styling pary..lol. My hair is growing like crazy and I barely do anything to it except wash it and grease my scalp. Plus, our hair is different from others. Regardless, if non blacks have tight or loose curly hair, their curls are not the same as ours. We need to accept the difference and do what is best for afro texture bair. All curls in general are beautiful.
I agree with you trillion percent my daughter has a father's hair his cultured hair people think she Spanish I have the kinky coily hair, it's all beautiful it's all good thank you for your comment
i use blue magic for twist and braid outs and the definition is amazing, better than any defining products i have used.. even defining my 4c hair, it brings out my curls coils and waves
The crazy thing is ... I never had much success with Blue Magic and styling until my last braid out. So I'm guessing it was the products I was using and not the hair grease that was the problem. But I recorded this video like a month ago before I changed products and realized how great it is for twist outs/braid outs too. I may upload another video on that topic, but I want to experiment with more products first. I'm happy its such a versatile product XD thanks for watching
Love the prayer. I have a tub of blue magic under the sink and I go back and forth about using it. I agree it makes your hair grow I used it for years as a kid and young adult
Precious your prayer made me subscribe. I've been natural for 6 years and my hair is about the same length as yours. I did a protein treatment 6 weeks ago and started using Blue Magic 2 weeks ago. I'm so excited, my hair is soft, shiny and growing. I shampoo, deep condition, leave in conditioner and seal it with Blue Magic; just amazing!
Thank you for subscribing ❤️ Blue Magic has really changed my hair journey in such a positive way. I hope you keep using it! God bless you and your hair! ❤️❤️❤️
Mrs Mississippi here on UA-cam explains how she only uses shampoo, water, and grease on her hair. She sometimes uses oil and conditioner too. I enjoyed watching your vlog.
Thank you for watching! I want to eliminate other products from my routine. Shampoo, water, and grease sounds like the simplest and healthiest supply tbh 😂
Hun, Hair grease especially Blue magic and anti-humectants seal our hair better than humectants (oils and butters). I'm already using hair grease in my Regimen. ☺️
Just about to go back to hair grease for the first time since I was a little girl, I'm excited! Thanks for this video :) also, automatic subscription when you prayed at the start of your video. That's just awesome ❤️
You can definitely do a twist out with just blue magic and leave in! It actually made my hair Afro less frizzy and more defined. I used leave in first and then added a layer of blue magic twisted it up and it was the best one so far. Everyone is different. Thanks for the video!
@Brandy Lashay, were you struggling with frizzy hair before using it??? I’m just all out of options my hair gets so Frizzy and get dry quickly ! Did it take time to reach that point ?
I use it with my cream moisturizer and it works great .You just have to apply the leave in or cream moisturizer first then seal with the grease . Any you would achieve a banging twist or braid out. And for those who say that is too greasy you just have to remember to use small amounts because a little bit goes a long way with grease if you used too much your hair will be a greasy mess.
I agree. Stop with the madness. It works. I started back using it as well. It is very moisturizing. I use it for protective styling when I feel like my hair needs moisture and I need to leave it alone. I twist my hair up for a week. I love it.

Yeah I still haven’t had a good twist out with it but I guess it’s just the products I mix it with. I’ve had a great braid out with it it though and I love it!
Appreciate the video. I use grease when I'm straightening my hair. I apply it lightly on top of my leave in conditioner and then I add about a dime to penny size amount of heat protectant serum in top. I blow dry then flat iron and it is awesome. I just started using Softer Signature Mango... Smells awesome.
So true! I finally figured out what works for me and did an awesome braid-out with Blue Magic. You can watch my video on it here: ua-cam.com/video/TF4edHu7DMs/v-deo.html Blue Magic braid-outs are my go-to style now!
What if I'm trying to add curl definition to my short hair? I've tried tons of products and they just dry out my 4c hair. My hair loves blue magic or any type of grease. But instead of just having a straight afro I would like some curls. Gels do not work in my hair. Can you recommend a good inexpensive curling cream?

Your hair looks awesome....I kept using grease despite the scare tactics by Natural Nazis who Black women to buy these unnecessary oils....I use Indian Hemp grease by Blue Magic or Kuzi, love it....It's actually good for a twist out too.
I know I am late but after always seeing mineral oil, petrolatum and liquid parrifum as bad for your hair I didn't want to use it. But considering that's what was used back in the day sometimes I guess it's best to try the old school method again
You’re so beautiful and your hair looks so healthy and shiny!! This was very helpful. I am very low maintenance on my hair, but I’ve recently gotten lazy and I’m trying to remedy some of the damage before it gets worse. Thanks again for the review and good luck everyone on your hair journey!
I put it on my edges followed by 🐝 beeswax after I straighten the edges with an electric hot comb. It really lasts to hold it in place with moisture. Blue magic has been around at least 50 years. Yes I love Carols Daughter leave in moisturizer and Shea moisture leave in. You are beautiful inside and out.
I actually did a twist out using Camille Rose Coconut Water Leave in, Camille Rose Almond Jai Twisting Butter, and sealed with Blue Magic Indian Hemp Grease. It's a bomb twist. I just didn't use a lot.

Can you apply grease after adding moisture and continue to style with gel? And live it to air dry without doing braids or any protective style? Please someone tell me 😩
Yes! A lot of people have really great results with Blue Magic on their twist-outs. I don't like it very much, but I got really nice results with a braid-out using BM! You can watch that video here.. ua-cam.com/video/TF4edHu7DMs/v-deo.html
