- In this episode we journey to what we think is the best campsite we have ever been at.
The landscape is absolutely beautiful and who doesn't love a water crossing.
The 79 series Landcruiser is an absolute beast and every mile gives us another smile.
We hope this gets you planning you Gonarezhou trip - it is truly one of the best African Overlanding destinations.

my beautiful country... great content by the way
It’s incredible!!! Thanks for watching - can’t wait to share the final ep of this trip!!
Thank you Overlanderz for showing Zimbabwe to the world,I'm enjoying the footage
Thanks for having us!!! 😊😊
the animals in these areas are not used to human interaction, they are very wild hence the agitation. Zim has some of the best anti poaching programs and they are a very elite group that we celebrate. thank you for showcasing the country and we hope that you visit again soon.

You should check out The Flying Pancake. They also do flapjack and pancake mixes where you just add water. Their Caramel Chip Flap-Jack Mix is super tasty!
Amazing episode. I have not seen those cranked up petrol pumps in donkey years lol.
That shot under the massive Baobab Tree made the shots for me. Brilliant
Thanks so much!!! I still think about that Baobab every day!! Such a special tree!!!!

Wow, what an amazing episode!
What type of fuel range does one need for such a trip?
Cheers
Hi Paul, I would say 1000km and you are safe - don’t know if fuel near Chipinda pools is always available. 😊
Thanks for watching!! Can’t wait to share the last episode!!!!
Great videos. I have question on the cruiser as I am looking at a similar setup with my double cab which has a canopy, 3” lift and 35s but drives terrible on the road at speed, very fidgety because of the weight at the back. I also have upgraded suspension, springs and airbags but is still terrible to drive. Have you encountered the same and if so, what did you do to solve it? It seems the only real option is to extend the frame 300mm to push the rear tyres further back to spread the weight better. Possibly longer radius arms as well? Thanks and keep up the great content.
Hey man!! What lift do you have in? I want to switch to 35’s so bad! I try keep as little weight right at the back so the water tanks are in the cab side of the canopy. Only have one spare wheel at the back so don’t know if adding another will give issues. I’m not a fan of the look of the extended chassis but I understand why they do it.
Not an expert but the Tough Dog Big bore shocks and the 500kg leaf springs have been an absolute dream! Maybe that could be it for me! Does yours drive badly even when you aren’t loaded?
@@GunnlandExplores hi. Not sure on the details of the lift as I bought it second hand. Even unloaded it’s a handful when it has just the canopy and the spare wheel on the back, it had jerry cans as well but I took those off which seems to help slightly. I am thinking about going to 285/70R17s from the 315/70R17s. I have been told that will help a lot as well. I wouldn’t go to 315s.
Baie Mooi !!!!!!
