Hi, very interesting video. I have that very same amplifier. If I may ask a question? My amplifier sounds very 'woolly' at the lover end if the frequency range. Bass is lacking. Might this be a technical issue, and age (if the amplifier) issue or infact my ears! Thank you in anticipation.
Thank you for the swift reply. The tone controls do alter the levels, it's the same on both channels. I'm not sure if it's maybe my ears, but it doesn't seem to have any low end punch or grunt.
@@tonyjones332 When the direct mode is selected the tone controls are bypassed, I was wondering if you hear any difference as such. The capacitors used in the Amplifier are high quality but of course they will reduce in performance over time.

Hi if you select direct mode do you notice any difference and is the lack of bass the same on both channels.
