Haha. I wish that part of the story was true, but they just thought he didn't fit in with the band. Plus les had his own thing going at the time (primus)
Imagine Les singing it too xD well end a passion play n it’s a crumblin away cuz im ur source of good ol blumpkins, Bobby be playin monopoly, his ass got an F is history and you know he chops his dang ol nutsack with a broken S10’s mirror!
@@jordanfehr7587 For the price Sires are very nice. The only reason i dont use them in my videos is it only has 20 frets. I also prefer a slighter thin neck profile.
It might be challenging but I'd like to see a Primus-esc version of Stainds "Break" from their first album Tormented. Even if it's a short clip I think it'd be cool. Keep up the cool videos!
@@snapsterson2147 just some average gutar player that wants to buy bass gutar and thinks that 45 sec of playing doesn't really require alot of stamina.. And can also see that your timing is not perfect. it's 9 out of 10 tho.. good job.
@@Witheld I learned this 4 years ago and it was definitely making my arm super tired back then. Nowadays it's easy to do this for a while because I've been slapping for much longer. But for someone just learning it, especially someone who is not used to slap popping on the E / A string consistently, it requires you to get used to it. I usually just ignore comments like the OP, but thought I'd add context
@@Witheld Because I play guitar 14 years. And I've learnt this on guitar in the past. I'm sorry if my comment sounds bad, but I think he can play it better than this.
“Sorry man, we can’t take you. You’re too good.”

This is what less Claypool would have done in the Metallica bassist audition lol
Lars: Need to turn your bass down.
Les: F*ck off! I'm outta here.
I saw Primus a long time ago and they played this tune. Pretty much like that!
Holy shit, that's amazing!! Can tell some time went into it
Thanks! :)
dam thats a nice tone the low string straight sounds like a kick drum

Les did this in Melbourne in 1994. No, really.

Nice! I've heard good things about Sire. How do you like the bass?

They didn’t hire Les because they didn’t want to be upstaged, god knows Lars didn’t want that
requires alot of stamina for 45 sec playing ? and you should have done it at least 100 more times before making the video.
literally who tf are you

@@BassOfSpadeZz That shit is pretty hard to pull off. How are you even able to judge if you're not even a bass player ?
