The fact that people defend this horrendous game is baffling. No dead silence and no gun fire showing on a minimap is the worst decision they have ever made in cod. @@ELIZABETHMARLONE2005 I have no preference. I haven't played an FPS game in 7 years. If that is what players demand, then that's what they will get in place of better games. mw 2 and 3 just feel weirdly futuristic and diluted compared to this one. this really was a very grounded feeling game while the others are almost closer to something like black ops 2 in terms of setting compared to
MW2019 was my favorite - especially ground war. The maps overall were great, all weapons were fun to use, etc. I do like MW3 but it's not the same. I can't believe we're about to start the third season and we haven't gotten 1 new ground war map at all. It's ashamed because I feel like the game is much better than MW2, but at least they gave us new maps each season.
The game is perfect. I went back to it and it was great. Verdank is right there in plain sight but we can't play it only ground war. How they changed the classic hitmarkers, movement, guns and everything in "Warzone 3". I can't bring myself to play WZ3.
This was just nearly perfect. A time were mouse and key could actually compete with controller, there is sound in all directions and gun used to shoot in familiar patterns. If this could just come back as it was I would be so happy!
This game is what got me into guns. This is the game that got me into firearms, learning about them, buying them, going shooting, this was where a lot of my gun knowledge stemmed from as this game to date has the most realistic depiction and animations of firearms of any cod ever. Not to mention the late nights with the boys running resurgence or warzone. Lovely times...
MW 2019, Cold War, and MW2 2022 (also Vanguard I guess) represent CoD's Renaissance: when CoD managed to overcome its Era of mediocrity since 2013. Unfortunately, Activision got overconfident and managed to end that Era with the disaster that is MW3 2023.
I think Verdansk was the best map because it offered so many types of areas to play in - woods, cities, arena, dam, village, middle of a frozen lake, the prison, airport, etc. I could easily pick a drop point depending on my mood. Now they all feel the same. Also, warzone had “harder” perks (combinations) back then. I was just saying last night that the endgame is impossible to play because everyone is running high alert. You can’t scan an area while aiming down scope without triggering someone’s high alert and losing your advantage of being on their 6. Makes it near impossible to make smart plays or even get loadouts if you respawn late.
@@Subsistence69 yeah I remember, maybe the priority was ghost? Either way, how often it’s being used now is changing the way the game gets played and not for the better imo.

I grinded the living shit out of realism ground war, one of the most satisfying gamemodes ever. Kar98 to obsidian and flexing with a damascus riot shield were definitely the best wasted hours of my life.
I didn't have the chance to play it when it first came out, but I did play it last year for the first time, instantly fell in love with it even though I Played MWII and cold war before playing it, It's actually surprising how people left it to play MWII or III
This engine looked / still looks so good. Can’t describe it other than the lighting and character models were so crispy. Even today, still looks incredible
The way they destroyed this game with updates for Warzone and their integrations and then abandoned it in that state should actually be illegal. You literally can't even play alot of the maps anymore and map rotation in general is severely messed up.

@@ELIZABETHMARLONE2005 weapons are way worse in mw3 tbh no standing out marksman rifles or snipers like in mw2019 (still miss the kar and rytec explosive sniping) the best snipers in mw3 are recently added dlc snipers. we shouldnt settle on a 9 month push out i believe if they had more time mwIII would be better with a better campaign and more unique items that arent from mw2. 🙏
@@ggm4gaming798 I agree if MWIII has just a little more time it would have been better but let's also not forget that the Rytec AMR was also a pist launch gun same as AMAX and the Grau.556
pretty much everything about it was great, only the maps were bad. But even once you got used to them, it wasn't really an issue, especially when they brought old COD4 maps like Crash and Broadcast back.
@@ELIZABETHMARLONE2005 Movement, TTK, weapon balance, atmosphere, UI, weapon feel, create-a-class are all infinitely better in MW2019 than MWIII. MWIII is better than MWII, but that's hardly an achievement.
Those 5 years have felt more like 1 year 😅
SO TRUE.
How is it possibl3 that this game has better lighting, better graphics, smoother gun animations, and better sound design that all the games that came after?
I do remember there was a time when you played an FPS, and your character's skin was whatever a person in that army would wear while carrying that gun. It was something you didn't realize you liked until it was gone.
Boo hoo you can play as a milsim if you want to in BOCW, MWII and MWIII but if players want the silly stuff that's what Activision will provide it's called supply and demand
@@ELIZABETHMARLONE2005 I have no preference. I haven't played an FPS game in 7 years. If that is what players demand, then that's what they will get in place of better games. From a business perspective, it makes more sense to sell players the same game twice, "add" remakes of classic maps, and add more silly skins than it does to invest in making a better game. Personally, I'll probably hold out for a game with better gameplay, truly new maps/worlds, and a lot less fluff. Like I said, it is something I didn't realize I liked until it was gone.
@@JuneauGTW ok then
CoD MW19 is the best cod in recent years because it was made with passion and it took a long ass time to make...
The game had it's pros and cons but overall was good.
Always the best tom! 👍🏻
The pandemic made this game feel like home, Gunfight was addictive ❤
the old CODs created times and memories MW 2019 brought them back in a very smart way
MW2019 was prime gaming at the time.Better than anything they released after. Looks better plays better.
Nice video Tomo , greetings from Brasil !
Did you notice that more than half the Ground War maps are missing? Port of Verdansk, Krovnik Farmland, Tavorsk District, Promenande, Verdansk International Airport.
I wonder if there's anything that can be done to get IW to fix it.
Through 5 years they literally downgrade the game , warzone 2020 is best so far.
The most recent CoD that had some love and ambition in it. MW3 is definitely a new low.
MWIII multiplayer is better than 2019 the only thing that the devs made with love was the campers the game was camp city literally one of the most annoying multiplayers made to date and I actually loved MW 2019 but give MWIII the respect it deserves as it actually plays like a call of duty game unlike 2019
@@ELIZABETHMARLONE2005everybody hate rushers-hopes lol, that is why they whining about campers in MW 2019 and the wast majority loves it))
Every rusher wants to camp but there is lack of skills to catch the position 😂
The new Verdansk map should of been after it got nuked. With gas and radiation zones moving based on winds and pockets with in some building. Nice game play Tomo, hope you and the rest of the squad can get back into playing again
Ah a game with working hit registration, clean gunplay, and functioning menus. Apparently all too much to ask for nowadays.
mw 2 and 3 just feel weirdly futuristic and diluted compared to this one. this really was a very grounded feeling game while the others are almost closer to something like black ops 2 in terms of setting compared to
MW2019 was my favorite - especially ground war.
Mw 2019 was just perfect. PERFECT !
The game is perfect.
I went back to it and it was great. Verdank is right there in plain sight but we can't play it only ground war.
How they changed the classic hitmarkers, movement, guns and everything in "Warzone 3". I can't bring myself to play WZ3.
Thanks for making this video! I still have the main theme in my playlist and it sounds every time I’m driving the car!
You had me at hello Tomo Cruise and your intros are always top tier
Thanks 😅
I'm so happy to see the Grau in action again after so long.
For me this game’s campaign was next level and had one of the best narrative themes in any call of duty.
Please keep uploading MW 2019 content
Been waiting 4 years for this video
High alert was also in Verdansk but it was extreeeemely slept on
@@Subsistence69 yeah I remember, maybe the priority was ghost? Either way, how often it’s being used now is changing the way the game gets played and not for the better imo.
@@zazthespaz yeah ghost was the top pick and overshadowed it and I preferred that way as well
The game looks better, plays better, ttks better it’s just better and it’s the best cod since bo2
My first COD i actually purchased 😊
SO glad to see you back! wanna see more mw19 gameplay
For me it was just amazing cause it was the game that got me back into cod. My girlfriend and I grew closer playing this game. Got me closer to quite a few friends after we lost touch after high school. So many great memories attached to this game and warzone
The graphics, aim/ weapon mechanics, and movment mechanics are the absolute best in the franchise. Idk why they’re doing so much to make the game feel clunkier…
Great video Tom, I think I will re download it for a few
Cyberattack and hardcore cyberattack in this game was truly something else
Hardcore actually felt hardcore, this game really felt like it was supposed to be played realistically, also custom multiplayer is the best out of all modern cods
i thought this was jackfrags for a second and wondered why his voice was deeper
My favorite MP and Warzone experience
They fucked up all vehicles in MWII! Every vehicle is slow, takes 17bussines days to drive the cars man. They feels Soo FKN Heavy!
Yeah mw19 won't be forgotten!
So good, the music gives me feels as well. Feel like they actually put so much more effort into this one.
Just annoying they took most of the GW maps out. I miss farmland, downtown and port 🥹
YESSIR
Found you cuz of this game too 😭
It’s great to see you playing back hear
What made this so special was it allowed me to game with my best friend for the entirety of MW1 and haven't been able to since, and MW2 and now 3 have just paled in comparison to level of fun and balance.
Glad im not the only one returning to this game. I really miss the good ole Verdansk days. Wish we could go back ❤
Look how beautiful Verdansk is. I never thought to go back and play ground war to get those sights back
The nostalgia 😭
Bro this was the game I was super excited for and it did not disappoint. Still my fav recent cod game. People hate on it but it felt great.
I grinded the living shit out of realism ground war, one of the most satisfying gamemodes ever. Kar98 to obsidian and flexing with a damascus riot shield were definitely the best wasted hours of my life.
Can we all just collectively return to MW2019? I'll reinstall it tonight after watching this on god.
I didn't have the chance to play it when it first came out, but I did play it last year for the first time, instantly fell in love with it even though I Played MWII and cold war before playing it, It's actually surprising how people left it to play MWII or III
An instant classic, one of my all time favorite Cod's no doubt.
Play more please this era 2019/2020 was way better in mw3 I only play zombies
This engine looked / still looks so good. Can’t describe it other than the lighting and character models were so crispy. Even today, still looks incredible
i wanna play warzone in verdansk on this engine again
Idk what everyone’s talking about MW and MW2/3 feel like the same game..
I was literally thinking of playing this recently since I was having convos about it with friends. Thanks for the inspiration Tomo, loving the vids!❤
You have by far the best intro music i ever heard. And i'm a video editor for 17 years.
The way they destroyed this game with updates for Warzone and their integrations and then abandoned it in that state should actually be illegal. You literally can't even play alot of the maps anymore and map rotation in general is severely messed up.
Looks better, sounds better, and runs better!
MW 2019 was a great game. But, it had its own issues whether it was servers or broken weapons it sure did have problems. But,overall it was a great game and the pandemic definitely helped how much everybody played and was on it. It was definitely like an 8/10 game for sure.
The pandemic made this game special. This was the last game that was made without thinking of BR only. Since then it’s been a cash grab. But ground war for me is only a bigger domination and mostly a cheap copy of Battlefield. IMO WZ 2019 was at the right place at the right time! It was amazing
Nice intro 🔥
i just installed it today again after years of not playing it; and it does feel better
Best cod game to come out in the last at least 6 years ❤ the Vid
they forgot about this game and just let it die, it’s way better than the mw we got today
Watching you guys playing this got us through a really shitty time in the world. It was the best of times. It was the worst of times.
I have just finished the MW 2019 campaign and it is way better than MW2 and MW3.
Yes, this is the kind of content I've been longing for. They really need to bring back games like this
