So this is a new unit with an obvious defect. And Anycubic expects you to fully disassemble it to determine the failure. Then they might send you a replacement part for you to install. Instead of just exchanging the unit with a new one. And what if you break something else in the process? That is exceptional customer service 😱
So anycubic isn't the only printer company that has these practices Bambu, Creality, and Elegoo to name a few that do the same. I will say anycubic after sales support is amazing if I email them I've received a reply back later around 9pm-5am Central time. They have always replaced the faulty parts and if you break a part they will replace that as well.
yep, i have the same problem the first spooll will not run correctly. this printer lees than a month old a 2 day print took almost 6 days with all of the different errors that it gave me clogging, breakage, tangled, extruder error filament time out. i got mine off of Amazon and they are just replacing the entire printer.
I want to say it's because there's 2 motors so each motor runs 2 filter areas but I'll be making a video of how to remove the filament due to seeing people asking but I'm printing a new phone stand so it's not so shaky
As I know it does run klipper, how would I be able to get the config files?? Real question haha and as I know of right now it's not open source but they did promise to make it open source in the near future.
Yes some printers or the ace pro have problems but anycubic will send replacement parts to fix it. I understand it is frustrating when you get a new toy and it doesn't work like you want it to. But no matter what printer you get there is a chance for the same problem. If you need here's the anycubic support team email address if you write them know they should get back to you later tonight. fdmsupport@anycubic3d.com If you need any help feel free to ask I'll try my best to help you.
Anycubic didn't really put me through anything, It wasn't that difficult. Anycubic built the k3 and ace pro for owner level repairs, so it doesn't have to get sent back for repairs. Bambu and Creality are the same way. It's kinda part of owning a 3d printer. Thanka for watching and happy printing
My #1 buffer tube makes a squeeking noise when it's pushing filament? It feeds fine though so I know it isn't clogged/hung up...anyone else have that problem before? Maybe just slap some lithium grease in there and call it good? 🤣 BTW, my wife hates mine too but I love this machine!
I haven't heard my tubes but the gear at times when it retracting the filament and just on #1 but I haven't had a problem yet And it good to know I'm not the only one that has a wife that hates the printer haha 🤣😂
... That's to me is the major reason anyone shoudnt buy this machine: 1. Its too hard to open it (they should add some lids with screws to let us change any electronic or mechanical parts) and to open like you did we risk broken more the external hull of machine that makes looks to me like a disposable ready to go to garbage machine and US$ 500 is too pricey for that, 2. You cant find spare parts at internet at moment we write here, 3. only works with filament rolls of 65mm but not with larger ones (75mm) , 4. Supposely should work with 220v or 110v, but there isn't a switcher button there to that function, 5. I print an object of 36 grams well 16 grams was poops of machine, thats not enviromental safe, Prós when works fine do all the job, but against when it brokens its a hell to fix it, specially if out of warranty time. coclusion: The product is not mature yet!
@@Rookie3DPrints nah, relax about the time... I would love a new video to learn where I fail to open it! And more people will need that too... But to be honest I quite with the machine and sent all combo to Anycubic to get my money back, worst buyer experience ever...
same here, hasn't worked yet. the first slot works, but since 3 and 4 are jammed, I can't do any color prints. Still waiting for them to reply to me. other than check the print head. the filament doesn;t leave the printer
Saved my Sanity! My tube disconnected inside the box and I was stumped. Going again! Thank you!!
You're welcome, and I'm glad I'm about to help

Ooh nice nothing wrong with get a replacement so you don't have to replace the parts yourself if you just got it
any clue why when it loads, lets say filament 2, another roll next to it will often start to load also?

does this printer run klipper? can you share the config files if it does?

@@Rookie3DPrints you can't open mainsail/fluid interface via web or something? or maybe SSH to printer?
@@Kmnri as I know of right now no you can't, but I could be wrong tho lol I haven't tried fluid or anything yet
Advise you to not get this thing just got mine today and already having problems with the ace unit

My ace pro not syncing, it says Filament synchronisation failed please check type of filament. Any one have any issues or ideas what’s going on.
I normally buy the cheapest filament I can find. I haven't had that problem. Have you contacted anycubic support yet to see if they can help.
unplug the power plug from back of ace unit, turn on for 1 min, turn off, plug back in, turn on and fixed.

Gear 1 gave me problems too.
Were you able to get it fixed? Or did you get ahold of anycubic to start fixing the problem??
@@Rookie3DPrints I did. This is an amazing printer and ACE. I love 3D printing again!
