Yes, indeed. Cuteness overload. But the talent is there for sure. What happens after this?
    Metallica sees this video.
Hammett says "That drummer kicks maximum ass!"
A few years down the road, Metallica invites Alessia Cara to provide a song for the 30th anniversary 'Blacklist' album
Alessia Cara's team contacts The Warning team and they collab.
Metallica says keep the lyrics. But do whatever you want with the song. turn it upside down. play it backwards. Whatever.
Alessia in Canada and The Warning in Mexico (pandemic times) re-imagined, wrote, rehearsed, recorded, and mixed their new version in

A perfect video to pick for today. The just celebrated 10 years as a band and today is Ale's 19th birthday! Happy Birthday Ale! Feliz cumpleaños! Great reaction! They were tiny...but FIERCE! One thing that amazes me still having seen this video dozens of times is the FEEL that they all had for their instruments at this age. You can't teach that. Were they technically perfect? No, but it doesn't matter. It's a great performance. Dany had such great feel for what she wanted to get out of her guitar at that age. Incredible.

There is so much to say about this video. It put them on the map. It was recorded and uploaded to show their grandparents their progress. The file was too big to email. They then went on a cruise. When they came back their dad’s email had blown up. At this point Dany and Pau had been playing their instruments for six years, Ale for two. The three had been playing as a band for about 1½ years. This video got them noticed by Ellen Degeneres and they appeared on her show. She along with Target paid for them to attend the summer program at Berklee College of Music in Boston.

This is the video that got me following and supporting them several years ago. FYI: Dany practiced her "stank face" before recording. They did this in one take. The Fender Ale is playing is 3/4, not even a full scale bass. The wall in front of them (behind the camera) is all mirror. So, Dany is making her stank face at herself. They use this to watch themselves practice the movements they use on live.
Happy B-Day Ale! The Goddess of Thunder! ⚡🎈🎂🎆❤‍🔥(Do you think Spector hit the jack pot by signing Ale as a featured artist? Rhetorical question of course).

They were The Warning at this point, but they hadn't been performing live together all that often. They tried to record this song several times but always someone made a mistake and they would scrap the recording and start over. They were reportedly very tired and very relieved when they finally finished this one. They chose their band name when they performed at a battle of the bands and realized they needed a band name. They had already kicked around the idea of maybe someday recording an album of their own and were considering the album to be titled The Warning. They decided to use that as their band name and it stuck, especially after this video went viral.

If you go to their UA-cam channel and sort the vids by oldest first you may end up needing medical attention to recover from the cuteness overload. It includes what I believe is their first ever public appearance as a band (before even having the name The Warning) performing God Gave Rock And Roll To You. Even at 12, 10 and 7 they showed the promise of what was to come. Also cool to see their Mom included as one of the backup singers.

I love this cover. The Warning were clearly exceptional already by that age, and they've improved enormously since!!
Pau's solo piano cover is wonderful _The Warning - Creep Radiohead Pau Cover_ ua-cam.com/video/A6Y4XpBxjU0/v-deo.html
I love seeing and hearing young people creating great music (covers or original). If you like that too, I recommend:
_Good Times Bad Times - LED ZEPPELIN / Drum Cover by Yoyoka , _*_8 year old_* ua-cam.com/video/91pz1E8pAOY/v-deo.html
Yoyoka is a Japanese girl drummer. She is self-taught, no drum lessons until 9yo, Her parents restricted her to playing drums no more than 30 minutes a day (so she'd grow up like a normal kid).
Her taste in music is impeccable. She found Rage Against the Machine, and *_really_* enjoys covering them:
_Bulls on Parade - Rage Against The Machine / Cover by Yoyoka, 10 year old_ ua-cam.com/video/Tkw57uGnSrs/v-deo.html
Her parents don't direct her playing, they encouraged her to play what she likes when she wants. For example, her parents heard her playing something they didn't recognise. It was Led Zeppelin; she found them herself, at 7yo. She liked John Bonham a lot. She's mastered many other drummer's styles too, Since about 10yo, she's often better than the original. Unlike some YT drummers, her covers are one take, no edits, or live in a studio or on stage with a band.
She started playing live gigs at 4yo. I think that might have been her clever plan to get more time playing drums.
One of my favourite early live performances is a Jazz Fusion cover of Senri Kawaguchi's Onyx:
    _Onyx - ... (Senri Kawaguchi) .... / Seven year old drummer ”Yoyoka" _ ua-cam.com/video/MkhGgqXywU8/v-deo.html
My favourite part is after the song finishes and the audience realise what they've just witnessed. 😀
She has co-written a couple of songs, including the prog-rock/prog-metal :Sparkling", and has composed the drums on a jazz EP and Album. She turned 14yo last October. Her and her family moved to the USA in 2022, she has an 'artist' visa.
Best Wishes to You Both for a Healthy, Happy, Peaceful 2024. ☮
PS - I have no relation with Yoyoka or her family.

Robert Plant (of Led Zeppelin) was shown her video. He enjoyed it, and thought John Bonham would have been amazed and "chuffed"

How many times in the world has it happened that 3 sisters, before they were a teenager, played their instruments, the piano and sang so well? See Paulina in "23". Unbelievable. It's a shame that they lost or will lose part of the years of being normal people and this will have consequences in the future. But it's life and it's made of choices.

I will make one comment because I heard you use the word Prodigy in relation to one of the girls. I think that word is often overused for talented children. These girls are not prodigies. They have been well supported and inspired by their parents. They fostered a love of music in them and provided them with professional lessons and excellent equipment. And the girls themselves have tireless work ethics to improve and evolve as artists and people. We the public have been blessed to be able to see this evolution from all the videos posted by their parents. They are quite exceptional.
An artist like Angelina Jordan can be labeled as a child prodigy. Exposed to classic Jazz as a young child and fell in love with the sounds she heard. She had the gift to mimic the sound from all those early artists she was exposed to and used those sounds to develop her voice at a very early age.

Prodigy - a person, especially a young one, endowed with exceptional qualities or abilities.
I think DPA are in fact child prodigies. Even classical prodigies from history didn’t come out of the womb fully rounded.
They had to first learn and then somewhat master their craft at a young age through a combination of due diligence and a heightened natural talent.
I couldn’t think of a more apt description of TW.
By your criteria virtually any recognized prodigy could be viewed from the same lens and their validity questioned.

@@mjc1389 let’s just agree to disagree. I think the girls themselves would reject the idea they are prodigies. They have worked their butts off to become the musicians they are and will continue to grow as artists

There are always debates about natural talent versus learned talent. And no clear winners in these debates

Still,.even after working hard you have to be.mature enough
at a young.age.to have such discipline and of course have musical talent. As we say in spanish tener oido para la musica, it translate to have a musical ear. The thing is that I noticed the term is usually for classical music and similar, not rock or popular music for the masses,.but it is also music. Sorry for.my english,.second language.

well these girls were introduced to classical music and from there they got all the necessary tools to become what they are .what you just described as prodigy kind of fits them .they were exposed to classic music as a young children and fell inlove with the sounds they heard. they had the gift to .........and used them sounds to develop their skills as young musicians at early age. etc etc. everything you satd about them also fits for the other girl you mention.
