I lived in Reno for two and a half years while playing ball in college. Pyramid was my favorite place to fish! I miss that lake. Lots of great memories there. Great video!

When I search UA-cam on how to fish Pyramid or any other body of water, I get some video shots and stills hooked up with somebodies idea of hip music. I rarely see a video with some instruction. A huge thanks for meeting the expectations of my search entry! I am looking forward to heading back to Pyramid early October and using some of your info.

I lived in Reno for six years and hated it. But once I found out about this lake after living there a year,my last 5 years there were spent fishing at pyramid when the season opened every year. I hope to go back someday and fish there again. But now my passion is for Delta bass fishing!! Nice Vid Man!

I hate to come down on your video but I always instruct any new fisher person to take one breath and return the fish safely to the water BY THE TIME YOUR BREATH EXPIRES. EVERYONE should be using the same basin rubber nets in the video but there are zero excuses to take the fish out into the water into the potentially colder weather than the water temps while you expound on your fishing skills. All of your “commentary” can be done while the fish is submerged in the net and the fly is taken out. With your large net you can view the fish to see it safely returned to the water rather than risk damage by taking out of the net. The dieoff rate for improperly handled fish is too high given when certain people “preach catch & release methods”. I don’t want to be the “downer” but PROPER C&R” need to always be followed or just hit the fish over the head and throw it into your cooler rather than die on the bottom of the lake.

Rule No.1 when Trout fishing is BE Quiet! Rule No.2 is Don't let the fish see you, or they won't bite. You guys sound like a bunch of school kids at recess.

Christ, that guy looks like he has a death grip on that fish. My grand kids live in Reno, fly fish this lake and river a lot. Hope they don't run into these fly fish marketing clowns. Learn how to handle a fish man.
