Something about watching Viper play AOE has become part of my daily routine. Feels weird when I haven't watched one of his gameplay videos on a day. Keep it up Viper!
Horse collar is way worse with Teutons. You tend to get the eco upgrades too soon anyways, especially the farming ones. Farms are a lot cheaper, so the 75 food 75 wood are more expensive in relation, it saves you less resources than with other civs. With farming upgrades, it's like this: You spend resources early when you have few resources to have more resources later, when you have more resources anyways. At least wood upgrades pay you back immediately, but farming upgrades don't and are way worse. When you FC you often miss out on 5+ vils because you get eco upgrades early.
I think horses should have some sort of charge ability. Maybe have two ways to move cavalry, either normal movement of attacking charge. Have it so it is time constrained and has a cool down afterwards. Horses just seem too slow.
The return to speed is already very high in AoE2. It's why the meta composition is horse + archer in some form, where infantry keep getting buffed but are still not used. Horses might seem slow, but if you buff their speed more you'll make them OP.
