The saddest thing is that even tho Rachel and Chloe has such an amazing connection, that they're against the world and everyone else, and yet all these choices don't matter in the end, because Rachel is still drugged, kidnapped, photographed and then killed, and no matter what we couldn't save such an amazing, beautiful, inspirational girl. Chloe doesn't get better either, she is destined to die as well and it's only when Max physically breaks nature can you save poor Chloe. The ending is so sad because it reminds us that we still fail Rachel, and that we couldn't protect her- truly an amazing game

It is like Rachel was the stars and how she did thought that it was meaningless to like them since they were already dead, until Chloe told her that they're beautiful nonetheless. I'm pretty sure that was done in purpose, since we already knew she was gone. Yet it was beautiful to watch the love they both had for eachother.

Beautiful game though, we're so fortunate to have gotten it

The romance between them was so awesome and adorable that the knowledge she secretly cheats on Chloe with Frank, posthumously breaks Chloe's heart and, and is killed by Jefferson is absolutely tragic.

This really needed a fourth episode to better explain how Rachel got caught up with Nathan which ultimately leads to her death. All you get are small comments saying "I didn't know Rachel and Nathan were so close" and that's it

I'm just gonna pretend that this game is in its own separate universe that the main games so that was Rachael is still alive and she and Chloe are happy forever. In the main game I remember not really giving a shit about Rachel's death but after this game it makes her death one of the saddest deaths in video game history in my opinion

You know what? It actually is possible, only if you made some ‘correct’ decisions in the game. Like making Nathen dating with another girl at the end so he wont be so creepy and became more a normal person in the first LIS game; and don’t tell Rachel the truth, so she wont be so eagle to leave the town and could have avoid to search help from those bad people. The good side of BtS is it allows you to change some people’ s characters, which brings a way of new possibilities.

It was completely necessary, that scene is basically what triggers the next game. I get that it's fucked up, but it's a part of the story line, it's inevitable.
I thought this last episode was going to follow what led up to Rachel's death and what choices she made that landed her in the Dark Room. I'm kind of disappointed. This whole game didnt focus on the main reason we all played it, to find out how Rachel Amber was murdered

After this game, I don't think I can ship them anymore. the relationship between Rachel and Chloe are too strong and beautiful. Great game, very first time i'm truly invested with a video game. The after credit scene made my heart ache. Hope there's another sequel to Before the Storm.

I have a theory, If they were to make a lis 2 the only route I could see them going down is Max going back in time and stopping all the shit in the dark room from happening. It's obviously not very likely but it would kinda make sense? I mean losing either Chole or arcadia bay would probably drive Max mad so it would make sense to stem from that no matter what ending the player chose in the first game? (I just can't accept Rachels fate 😢)

The legendary class ditching was Rachel's smart coverup to catch her daddy's "affair" in the act. She even pretended not to know nor care where the train goes. The second she witnessed her daddy's liplocking action through the viewfinder she turned her anger to clueless Chloe. Do I need to remind you she started the forest fire?
April Sky In the original LIS Episode 2, Two Whales scene, Chloe teases Max about the possibility Max makes a move on Chloe but rewinds time after so Chloe forgets. Max jokingly says "Yep I did that.". In Episode 3 before the option Kiss or Not Kiss Chloe, Chloe says boys suck and she's the only one deserves Max. And the fact Max never have boyfriend right to the time the original LIS begins... Even though she's a cute and nice girl... Maybe deep inside she always feels Chloe is her only "boyfriend"? Okay she had ONE man crush on Jefferson (so did Chloe), but even that one single man crush turns revenge in the end.

before watching this series, ive always pitied rachel but i didnt really feel as emotionally invested towards her. now seeing how she’s truly impacted chloe, i feel like ive been stABBED IN THE HEART
I am so confused why everyone is so depressed by the ending scene did everyone just forget she is literally the entire plot of the first game is her being dead and this one's ending didnt feel like anything it was like a disney channel like ending where nothing really mattered and every character introduced really didnt have any meaning at the ending of the game first one felt atleast like some choices mattered this entire game just felt like filler i know its a prequel but you could have explored in depth with how Jefferson's character is or more in depth on why nathin turns into a physio but you dont really get much of any of that
not only that but this entire episode seems so out of character with so many people and alot doesn't make sense or is never explained for instance Damon did he die? or did frank just beat him up if so then the drug world would lose it because he is one of the biggest dealers and holds everything together, James and the step mom dont make any real sense for thanking Chloe for "helping Rachel" by driving he to the hospital when it was Chloe s fault for even suggesting to go see her mom when that is clearly not a good choice and there isnt even an option that lets you say no i dont think we should go see your mom i dont think thats a good idea but it happens anyway, Eliot was also kind of a wasted character in this game he only ever really is in the first episode and in this episode he is in he's just there to stall time away from the game we all knew he was weird and maybe would go crazy from the start by the way he acted but there was no progression to lead him down to being crazy other then the 2 times he appears this entire episode

Systamatic i felt like it was obvious they would show it and put it in the whole series is supposed to be drama filled and dark and this entire game is about a dead girl i felt it wouldnt be a shock for them to show it at the end especially beacuse this game takes place right before it happens being a prequel
I remember seeing this when it came out and the wolf Alice song got me so pumped and happy for Chloe and Rachel and then the end destroyed me. Ever since ‘before the storm’ came out I’ve had such a deeper connection to Chloe and Rachel then before and it makes me so sad whenever I think about them, they should have just left when they had their chance. I always wished max could just go back in time and save everyone.
The ending was exactly what I wanted, not some dumb, happy, shit like a Disney movie, but a an ending that's realistic and leaves you thinking, "Life isn't perfect" They did a fantastic job with Before The Storm. In my opinion it's MUCH better than it's predecessor, not to say the first game was bad, but this one had a much more compelling story line and had much more dynamic characters that actually felt like real people. This is defiantly one of my top 5 favorite games.
Just so you all remember: The Farewell episode will be out soon and that will be the last time we ever hear Ashly Burch and Hannah Telle reprise their roles as Max and Chloe Pricefield.
It is amazing how a game can get you so emotional and invested in a world you totally do not know.I have almost no common interests with Chloe,yet I rooted for her.If this was a movie,I would never watch it,but as a game it is amazing.
I think it's not because she wanted to ignore him, but she didn't see him. At least that was all i could see in that scene. Nathan wanted to be close of Samantha, but she walked away and he couldn't stop her for his leak of courage.
in the last episode (I think) when they were at the play the player told Samantha to let Nathan go when she asked what Chloe would want someone to do for her if she was in that situation. So Samantha doesn't want to try to get close to Nathan anymore because the player convinced her it's the right thing to do.
You can hear them in the hospital when you talk to her at the play, she’ll ask you what to do and whatever choice you make will have a consequence. My one made Nathan break samanthas ribs
I am still in denial about Rachel, telling myself that we still didnt see who that was in the chair or on the floor. He was taking pictures of someone else.....right? They are just messing with us and they will release a game AFTER the 1st that will see Arcadia Bay is wrecked, chloe is still there and Rachel jumps out from a bush and says....."see I told you I was a good actess....surprise!!".......sigh my only wish for Christmas. That ending is so gut wrenching its unreal.

Life Is Strange 3 Max goes back in time to save Rachel, by getting her parents to move or not move to or from Arcadia, after the events of “before the storm”. A prequel within a sequel. Based on your choices she dies or lives. Max went back so far, she forgets who Rachel’s killer was, but now, it could be anybody. Butterfly Effect. Random thoughts lol. Bless!
Man, I really get David. He was clearly trying his ass to be his better version for Joyce and Chloe. He really cares, in his own way. I'm not saying he's absolved from everything or something, I'm just saying he's a good man, even though he's had his faults. I just don't think it's right he gets so much hatred from people.

Her dad says all those things about protecting her and everything but gave up trying to find her. A person who would say those things would run to the end of the world trying to find their daughter.
In my ending Nathan sits next to that girl trying to protect him instead of her leving and it just broke my heart knowing maybe in the other game though we don't see her, she'd felt destroyed after finding out what Nathan did..
I honestly thought that in the end Rachel was going to leave Chloe because someone threatened her that if she didn't, Chloe'll get hurt and the buried body Max and Chloe found in LiS was someone else so that, in After the Storm or something lol, Max and Chloe could find Rachel again
Love the song when Chloe and Rachel arrive at the hospital and while Chloe is waiting in the wiating room. Kinda sounds like a song they would play during a video game trailer, maybe Final Fantasy or Kindom Hearts or may a Zelda game.....or a Life Is Strange game.

It's weird this prequel has felt weird. Like the change in voice acting, the plot and such has felt like a completely different franchise. WIsh they'd qaited for the sequel and maybe done 1 episode on everything before and not its own mini season

I think they should do a "Life is strange: before the storm 2" which would actually follow that one, but where we would play as Rachel and we would see her story with Frank as well as her story with Jefferson and Nathan. I would find it great. :)
I catch chills over all my body when the last secene come over... It's horrifying the way things end up between them. They seem so happy and i was dying of cuteness... at least it would be great if they were let us use a little of our imagination, to forget sort about what really happened to Rachel... that scene was really unessesary, it makes me so upset after all. It's like they suddenly taking our happiness away from us.

I have a theory, If they were to make a lis 2 the only route I could see them going down is Max going back in time and stopping all the shit in the dark room from happening. It's obviously not very likely but it would kinda make sense? I mean losing either Chole or arcadia bay would probably drive Max mad so it would make sense to stem from that no matter what ending the player chose in the first game? (I just can't accept Rachels fate 😢)

Rachel just used Chloe. The legendary class ditching was Rachel's smart coverup to catch her daddy's "affair" in the act. She even pretended not to know nor care where the train goes. The second she witnessed her daddy's liplocking action through the viewfinder she turned her anger to clueless Chloe. Do I need to remind you she started the forest fire?
April Sky In the original LIS Episode 2, Two Whales scene, Chloe teases Max about the possibility Max makes a move on Chloe but rewinds time after so Chloe forgets. Max jokingly says "Yep I did that.".
In Episode 3 before the option Kiss or Not Kiss Chloe, Chloe says boys suck and she's the only one deserves Max.
And the fact Max never have boyfriend right to the time the original LIS begins... Even though she's a cute and nice girl... Maybe deep inside she always feels Chloe is her only "boyfriend"? Okay she had ONE man crush on Jefferson (so did Chloe), but even that one single man crush turns revenge in the end.

before watching this series, ive always pitied rachel but i didnt really feel as emotionally invested towards her. now seeing how she’s truly impacted chloe, i feel like ive been stABBED IN THE HEART
I am so confused why everyone is so depressed by the ending scene did everyone just forget she is literally the entire plot of the first game is her being dead and this one's ending didnt feel like anything it was like a disney channel like ending where nothing really mattered and every character introduced really didnt have any meaning at the ending of the game first one felt atleast like some choices mattered this entire game just felt like filler i know its a prequel but you could have explored in depth with how Jefferson's character is or more in depth on why nathin turns into a physio but you dont really get much of any of that
not only that but this entire episode seems so out of character with so many people and alot doesn't make sense or is never explained for instance Damon did he die? or did frank just beat him up if so then the drug world would lose it because he is one of the biggest dealers and holds everything together, James and the step mom dont make any real sense for thanking Chloe for "helping Rachel" by driving he to the hospital when it was Chloe s fault for even suggesting to go see her mom when that is clearly not a good choice and there isnt even an option that lets you say no i dont think we should go see your mom i dont think thats a good idea but it happens anyway, Eliot was also kind of a wasted character in this game he only ever really is in the first episode and in this episode he is in he's just there to stall time away from the game we all knew he was weird and maybe would go crazy from the start by the way he acted but there was no progression to lead him down to being crazy other then the 2 times he appears this entire episode

Systamatic i felt like it was obvious they would show it and put it in the whole series is supposed to be drama filled and dark and this entire game is about a dead girl i felt it wouldnt be a shock for them to show it at the end especially beacuse this game takes place right before it happens being a prequel

Chloe Price literally has the biggest heart of any character ever. She acts all tough, but she cares for everyone else before caring for herself
I remember seeing this when it came out and the wolf Alice song got me so pumped and happy for Chloe and Rachel and then the end destroyed me. Ever since ‘before the storm’ came out I’ve had such a deeper connection to Chloe and Rachel then before and it makes me so sad whenever I think about them, they should have just left when they had their chance. I always wished max could just go back in time and save everyone.

The ending was exactly what I wanted, not some dumb, happy, shit like a Disney movie, but a an ending that's realistic and leaves you thinking, "Life isn't perfect" They did a fantastic job with Before The Storm. In my opinion it's MUCH better than it's predecessor, not to say the first game was bad, but this one had a much more compelling story line and had much more dynamic characters that actually felt like real people. This is defiantly one of my top 5 favorite games.
Just so you all remember: The Farewell episode will be out soon and that will be the last time we ever hear Ashly Burch and Hannah Telle reprise their roles as Max and Chloe Pricefield.

I think it's not because she wanted to ignore him, but she didn't see him. At least that was all i could see in that scene. Nathan wanted to be close of Samantha, but she walked away and he couldn't stop her for his leak of courage.
in the last episode (I think) when they were at the play the player told Samantha to let Nathan go when she asked what Chloe would want someone to do for her if she was in that situation. So Samantha doesn't want to try to get close to Nathan anymore because the player convinced her it's the right thing to do.
You can hear them in the hospital when you talk to her at the play, she’ll ask you what to do and whatever choice you make will have a consequence. My one made Nathan break samanthas ribs

I am still in denial about Rachel, telling myself that we still didnt see who that was in the chair or on the floor. He was taking pictures of someone else.....right? They are just messing with us and they will release a game AFTER the 1st that will see Arcadia Bay is wrecked, chloe is still there and Rachel jumps out from a bush and says....."see I told you I was a good actess....surprise!!".......sigh my only wish for Christmas. That ending is so gut wrenching its unreal.

Max goes back in time to save Rachel, by getting her parents to move or not move to or from Arcadia, after the events of “before the storm”. A prequel within a sequel. Based on your choices she dies or lives. Max went back so far, she forgets who Rachel’s killer was, but now, it could be anybody. Butterfly Effect. Random thoughts lol. Bless!

Man, I really get David. He was clearly trying his ass to be his better version for Joyce and Chloe. He really cares, in his own way. I'm not saying he's absolved from everything or something, I'm just saying he's a good man, even though he's had his faults. I just don't think it's right he gets so much hatred from people.

Her dad says all those things about protecting her and everything but gave up trying to find her. A person who would say those things would run to the end of the world trying to find their daughter.
In my ending Nathan sits next to that girl trying to protect him instead of her leving and it just broke my heart knowing maybe in the other game though we don't see her, she'd felt destroyed after finding out what Nathan did..
I honestly thought that in the end Rachel was going to leave Chloe because someone threatened her that if she didn't, Chloe'll get hurt and the buried body Max and Chloe found in LiS was someone else so that, in After the Storm or something lol, Max and Chloe could find Rachel again
Chloe definitely shows me how she is misunderstood in Life Is Strange through this prequel.
Love the song when Chloe and Rachel arrive at the hospital and while Chloe is waiting in the wiating room. Kinda sounds like a song they would play during a video game trailer, maybe Final Fantasy or Kindom Hearts or may a Zelda game.....or a Life Is Strange game.

It's weird this prequel has felt weird. Like the change in voice acting, the plot and such has felt like a completely different franchise. WIsh they'd qaited for the sequel and maybe done 1 episode on everything before and not its own mini season
They had to find a non-union voice actor for Chloe because SAG-AFTRA actors (Ashly Burch) were on strike at the time. :(

I think they should do a "Life is strange: before the storm 2" which would actually follow that one, but where we would play as Rachel and we would see her story with Frank as well as her story with Jefferson and Nathan. I would find it great. :)
It's nice that the ending seems so happy, but thinking about how Rachel is just gonna dissapear makes me feel rrslly sad.
I catch chills over all my body when the last secene come over... It's horrifying the way things end up between them. They seem so happy and i was dying of cuteness... at least it would be great if they were let us use a little of our imagination, to forget sort about what really happened to Rachel... that scene was really unessesary, it makes me so upset after all. It's like they suddenly taking our happiness away from us.
