I like the fact they added more and more detail to the fact Daniel and Sean live out in the wild. Hair getting longer, clothes more disheveled and dirtier.
Daniel is very annoying and ungrateful towards Sean, especially after everything Sean has done to keep them safe. Sean may not be doing his best, but damn it he’s trying at least! ...I’m sorry but kids with that much attitude really piss me off.
Like finn said.. "the more you control him, the less you will have him around". And that's true.. daniel getting grown up phase which is really annoying tbh. 😂😂😂. But i feel so much about sean. About he's getting jealous over finn because daniel spent everytime with him instead sean.
Honesty i much rather have sean have the power so at least Daniel isn't srewing everyone eles over. Not to mention he left his brother covered in glass and he just left.

let me get this straight: 1. daniel doesn't appreciate all the work Sean puts into the farm for them to finally escape together 2. doesn't appreciate that sean isn't buying ANYTHING for himself and saves up to secure a good life for his brother. 3. spends time with Finn but gets mad when Sean spends time with Cass 4. trains in secret even tho its rule number 1 not to use the powers 5. scares his brother and lashes out at him FOR EVERYTHING and tells him he's not a kid anymore while acting like a brat 6. causes trouble at work for sean (doesn't even notice) 7. causes trouble at work for sean to the point where they get fired (doesn't apologize) 8. runs off with Finn against his brothers' wishes and endangers them allll 9. blows up a fucking door in anger to get them all noticed 10. is responsible for his 3 most important people getting hurt (his brother being severely hurt in his eye) and JUST LEAVING HIM THERE?!?!?! honestly kill the kid off and Sean Powers. idk if this is supposed to give off realism and patience dealing with children. It's OBNOXIOUS and not a good experience. it's not fun. it's not interesting. It's not cute.

@@jay-no9qq In terms of characterization, I give Daniel credit because now I'm WAY more interested in his character than when it first started. He may be annoying and insufferable and very bratty, but he's going somewhere and I like it. Plus, kid characters like AJ and Clementine from The Walking Dead, and Ellie from Last of Us are great examples of how you write good child characters.

That’s literally how most nine year olds act? Plus he basically has superpowers, anyone that was in that situation being that young would be like that too. Example, God of War 4, where Kratos son turned into a huge jerk after finding out he was a Demi-God, and thought he could do whatever he wanted because of such. It’s a complex. Kids at that age think their helpless and when they are given powers to where their not anymore then they are constantly wanting to prove their strong.

He's a very beautifully written character with a well-developped and complex arc.. applies to Sean's character too. Those who have gotten to the end may have finally understood this but clearly not everyone. Sad, but it's their loss, I got my satisfaction at the end of the game, all is good for me.

I really hope he doesn’t fully become evil, plus I don’t even want to think about. If you promised to danial that you won’t lie again in episode 1 and told Chris the truth in episode 2, that should hopefully reduce this chance of happening.
Reason i was uneasy about him killing the puma as well. Yes he got revenge for the dog however i was concerned it would lead him to think he could do whatever he wants. Daniel needs trained that them powers are a responsibility at all times.
Why every time Sean says "Puerto Lobos", it sounds exactly the same? Like a whisper full of shame. Dudes working at Life is Strange are like: let's record these two words just once, and recycle it because it's too hard to pronounce them lol.
i dont think it even matters whether its pronounced right or not, since sean was born in america and thus would have an accent when speaking spanish, so that’s just laziness on the devs part
It doesn't sound that recycled to me. In fact it sounds like it'll be more effort for the developers to get the voice actor to say the start of his line, leave a gap for them to cut in the place name then have him carry on with his line.
I am curious if this is a glass-shard in Sean`s eye in the last scene and if he is going to wear an eye-patch in the next episode like Solid Snake. (I am sure no one is dead - they are all just unconscious, and in the Episode 4 teaser the walking guy on the desert highway looks like Sean.)
Honestly I was petrified that they were gonna end it after Cass and Sean drove off with the truck, because there was less than 10 minutes left and there were still credits left to roll. Thank gosh they continued it.

We won't know what happened to them until the next episode unfortunately. 1 thing that gives us a clue at if they're alive or not is the end screen. It says things like "Daniel used his power and Finn didn't get killed." and "Cassidy didn't get injured." So I just assume that they'll be alive. Plus, I kissed Finn and went with him on the heist so he BETTER end up living.
Stating to watch now! I couldn't ven sleep loool Hope you try to make 3 walkthroughs, one for each of the 3 eendings of episode 2 to see how it all changes! What happens if Chris gets hit by a car, or ih Daniel gets CS's cape, or if Daniel moves the cop's car. A full collectable guide would be great too!
Daniel is only got his powers over his head, but once he realizes how he means to his brother and his brother gets in trouble after saving him at some point or later on missing gone and he realizes life without his brother sucks he’ll remember using his powers to save him and how such an as had he become the sooner, possibly be known from being a hero than an as* I guess it should depend on the player’s choice.
You're right. I was worried that since they were only taking three months to churn out 3-hour episodes, the quality would go down. But thank gosh it didn't happen that way. The animation was so good that around the two hour mark I actually found myself getting lost in the story and thinking that this was real.
honestly.. this is a good series but this season blows. Sean is so damn great but Daniel is such an unrealistic kid with no arc that it ruins the game. They should take a page out of Skybounds book and make more lovable kid protagonists where your choices ACTUALLY shape him. Your choices dont matter at all this season

And people may disagree with me. But I'm expressing what I personally think would make the game better by giving an example of a character that was more successful for me. Theres a reason clementine has a cult following and Daniel does not. This isnt me dissing the gaming company and all they do. I'm constantly impressed by game developers. But I do have the right to my opinion. I expressed it in a way I thought would be clear- by providing an example. And you know what? I was only saying that I wish the character was actually affected by the choices because that makes our choices feel like they have meaning. because what's the point of a point and click adventure if our choices dont feel like they matter
Rebecca Simpson-Wallack I agree with you, look at games like The Last of Us or The Walking Dead or even that new one A Plague Tale. They are are stories where you have to look after a kid and try to make sure you don’t fuck them up but they all do a better job of making you care about the child you are protecting. To me Daniel seems like he is turning into a villain slowly but surely and I for one am not going to sacrifice Sean to save the little shit. He’s physically abusive everytime he’s upset and constantly blames Sean for everything wrong in his life when Sean is the only reason he is still alive at this point. I wish we could’ve left him in Vegas with that Crazy Lady.
A big problem I’m having is that I started LiS 2 and then I went back home and played the entirety of The Walking Dead and I can’t help but compare Daniel to Clem who I absolutely adore. Even AJ, who lets be real wasn’t always a saint and made mistakes. I really felt like my decisions shaped who he was as a person and that he was listening. I don’t feel that with Daniel at all and he almost makes me not want to play the rest of the game. I will of course but it’s getting rough at the moment.
Man idk if I’m in the minority but ever since episode 1, this season has been so underwhelming. I really don’t feel connected with Sean and Daniel. And I really didn’t care for these other characters at the camp bc we were just thrown into it without any real context. It also doesn’t help that there’s time skips between episodes. If you read Sean’s journal, he talks about what they did over that time and I just feel that skipping over all these parts of their journey is hurting it as a whole. The last two episodes have came off as pointless to me bc it’s not moving the story forward. We’re back at the same spot at the end of episode 3 that we were in episode 1. What advances have been made on the investigation for them? How did Daniel get stronger and suddenly know more about his power despite complaining that they haven’t practiced in so long? Why hasn’t there been more thought and effort put on as to why and how Daniel acquired the power? What happened in the aftermath of Beaver Creek? What even is the story anymore? Where are the deep/pretentious themes that I loved LiS 1 and BTS for? Lmao this season so far just seems off. Idk, it may just be me but I’m really uninterested with this season
Nope, I can really agree with you Although, I don't know if you disagree with this, but I found a lot of interest in the 1st episode It had an ok-ish set of characters to build off of and started with a great catastrophe (referring back to the end of S1 I believe) that would send the brothers off on their adventure (Journey? Whatever you call it lol) and at that point, we had a narrative where they are on the run after being mistaken for the murderers of their own father, which was interesting After that, the 2nd and 3rd episode was mostly irrelevant or boring af Honestly at this point, it's as if they don't even feel fazed at the fact that they lost their father and they only mentioned *once* about visiting their mother, and then that was it Unlike S1 of Life is Strange, it's like they didn't even *put* effort into a story-driven narrative or the characters' interactions at all based on what happened in the 1st episode

He is not dead, he is walking on that hot desert highway in the last few seconds of this video when the episode 4 teaser starts :) He probably will be caught, quick-trialed and executed in some Texas county but someone (a yet unknown character presented in the next episode) is shooting the rope in the last second, and both of them flee and hide in some desert cave, planning their next moves to free Daniel who was caught also and is now working with some chain-gang picking up trash from the highway and singing about the time after prison the whole day.... That would be an interesting storyline.

This reminds me of Farfromsubtle's playthrough of "Beyond Two Souls" where in that game in one part you were on a farm doing menial tasks like a "Yardwork simulator" which was just considered a waste of time. And here we're doing more or less chore work.

It doesn't sound that recycled to me. In fact it sounds like it'll be more effort for the developers to get the voice actor to say the start of his line, leave a gap for them to cut in the place name then have him carry on with his line.

I am curious if this is a glass-shard in Sean`s eye in the last scene and if he is going to wear an eye-patch in the next episode like Solid Snake. (I am sure no one is dead - they are all just unconscious, and in the Episode 4 teaser the walking guy on the desert highway looks like Sean.)

We won't know what happened to them until the next episode unfortunately. 1 thing that gives us a clue at if they're alive or not is the end screen. It says things like "Daniel used his power and Finn didn't get killed." and "Cassidy didn't get injured." So I just assume that they'll be alive. Plus, I kissed Finn and went with him on the heist so he BETTER end up living.

Daniel is only got his powers over his head, but once he realizes how he means to his brother and his brother gets in trouble after saving him at some point or later on missing gone and he realizes life without his brother sucks he’ll remember using his powers to save him and how such an as had he become the sooner, possibly be known from being a hero than an as* I guess it should depend on the player’s choice.

You're right. I was worried that since they were only taking three months to churn out 3-hour episodes, the quality would go down. But thank gosh it didn't happen that way. The animation was so good that around the two hour mark I actually found myself getting lost in the story and thinking that this was real.

honestly.. this is a good series but this season blows. Sean is so damn great but Daniel is such an unrealistic kid with no arc that it ruins the game.
They should take a page out of Skybounds book and make more lovable kid protagonists where your choices ACTUALLY shape him. Your choices dont matter at all this season

And people may disagree with me. But I'm expressing what I personally think would make the game better by giving an example of a character that was more successful for me. Theres a reason clementine has a cult following and Daniel does not. This isnt me dissing the gaming company and all they do. I'm constantly impressed by game developers.

Rebecca Simpson-Wallack I agree with you, look at games like The Last of Us or The Walking Dead or even that new one A Plague Tale. They are are stories where you have to look after a kid and try to make sure you don’t fuck them up but they all do a better job of making you care about the child you are protecting. To me Daniel seems like he is turning into a villain slowly but surely and I for one am not going to sacrifice Sean to save the little shit. He’s physically abusive everytime he’s upset and constantly blames Sean for everything wrong in his life when Sean is the only reason he is still alive at this point. I wish we could’ve left him in Vegas with that Crazy Lady.
A big problem I’m having is that I started LiS 2 and then I went back home and played the entirety of The Walking Dead and I can’t help but compare Daniel to Clem who I absolutely adore. Even AJ, who lets be real wasn’t always a saint and made mistakes. I really felt like my decisions shaped who he was as a person and that he was listening. I don’t feel that with Daniel at all and he almost makes me not want to play the rest of the game. I will of course but it’s getting rough at the moment.
Man idk if I’m in the minority but ever since episode 1, this season has been so underwhelming. I really don’t feel connected with Sean and Daniel. And I really didn’t care for these other characters at the camp bc we were just thrown into it without any real context. It also doesn’t help that there’s time skips between episodes. If you read Sean’s journal, he talks about what they did over that time and I just feel that skipping over all these parts of their journey is hurting it as a whole. The last two episodes have came off as pointless to me bc it’s not moving the story forward. We’re back at the same spot at the end of episode 3 that we were in episode 1. What advances have been made on the investigation for them? How did Daniel get stronger and suddenly know more about his power despite complaining that they haven’t practiced in so long? Why hasn’t there been more thought and effort put on as to why and how Daniel acquired the power? What happened in the aftermath of Beaver Creek? What even is the story anymore? Where are the deep/pretentious themes that I loved LiS 1 and BTS for? Lmao this season so far just seems off. Idk, it may just be me but I’m really uninterested with this season

After that, the 2nd and 3rd episode was mostly irrelevant or boring af

He probably will be caught, quick-trialed and executed in some Texas county but someone (a yet unknown character presented in the next episode) is shooting the rope in the last second, and both of them flee and hide in some desert cave, planning their next moves to free Daniel who was caught also and is now working with some chain-gang picking up trash from the highway and singing about the time after prison the whole day.... That would be an interesting storyline.
